Synopsis: No description
Cast of Characters: Selina Kyle, Carrie Kelley

Selina Kyle has posed:
It's been a while and Catwoman has been fairly busy with her own issues. But a promise is a promise. She had sent Catgirl a text to meet her at the docks early in the morning, and that's where she'll find her, if she knows where to look. Lesson one: hide and seek.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
It was lucky that she had been in town when the text came in. She had a birthday for a friend, and spent the night and when her phone buzzed, she quickly threw on a pair of sneakers, yoga pants, and a black hoodie, and slipped out the window of the room she was staying in. She knew she was being watched, but didn't much mind as she slipped away from Wayne Manor, off to where Catwoman told her to meet.

About ten minutes later, she jogs to the spot, and then comes to a stop as she looks around, seeking her pre--err, teacher. She stuffs her hands into the pockets of her hoodie as the morning chill hasn't been burned away by the sun just yet, and stifles a yawn as she walks along the docks.

Selina Kyle has posed:
It's a bit cool this morning, enough for you to see your breath. But there's light in the sky, though not much. More a greyish light with a cloud cast sky making it look like it may rain or snow sooner or later.

There are a few dock workers walking about, unloading boxes from a freight ship and bringing them into a warehouse. That seems to be the main thing going on here, although the occasionally person passes by, but doesn't linger. So..Dock workers, bright early morning, a bit chilly, a few warehouses here and there - one or two that seem abandoned and lots of dark corners, boats, docks near the sea. Where on earth would a sneaky cat lady be hiding in a place like this?

Carrie Kelley has posed:
The place you hide is the place people are least likely to look seems to be Carrie's train of thought. People aren't wandering through the dockyards, grinning up at the sun thinking about what a wonderful day it is. No, they're keeping their heads down and just trying to get to quitting time. So, her eyes are turned upwards, peering at the rooftops of the buildings she walks by. She does occasionally peek into the open doors of one of the abandoned warehouses, just to make sure she's not missing something, but for the most part she is looking up.

Selina Kyle has posed:
Least likely to look..Is always good advice. Checking empty warehouses makes sense as they are a good hiding spot, but even then, it doesn't look like the locked doors were unlocked, or any windows were broken. And even then, wouldn't that attract more attention in broad daylight?

Rooftops are also a potential hiding spot, but less so in the day. The dock worts pay little attention to the young woman running around looking for someone. Some people pass by, one in a long black trench kat and hay who pauses to glance at the young woman curiously, but doesn't linger her gaze on her. Some other people pass by, another woman walking a dog, hoodie pulled up.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
The woman with the dog is given a cursory glance, but little more. It seems off brand for Catwoman to have a dog. The person in the trench coat is given a bit longer look, but probably for reasons related to not wanting to be caught by some weird MiB group that want to experiment on someone who is not on earth as often as one might expect. She comes to a stop near one of the buildings, and leans against it, pondering for a few moments.

Selina Kyle has posed:
A couple of kids are playing, running up to a you g man, presumably their father who hugs them then walks them home, away from the docks. The workmen say something to each other, continuing idle chatter with one another.

All in all, it's a pretty quiet day, nothing unusual to see here. Except..The woman in the trench coat steps towards the Catgirl, clearly dressed for the weather as it starts to drizzle a bit and it keeps her pretty warm.

"Hey there, Catgirl.." she tips her hat to her, revealing a pair of thick black rimmed glasses on her face underneath the coat. "Glad you could make it. Took you a little longer to find me but, not bad."

Carrie Kelley has posed:
The girl smiles slowly to the woman who speaks to her, "I thought it might have been you with the dog for half a moment, but that didn't seem right," she replies, and then asks, "Lesson today to spot people in a crowd?" She pushes off from the side of the building, and sticks her hands into the pockets of her hoodie to warm them up.

Selina Kyle has posed:
Catwoman grins and nods, "Of course this wasn't much of a crowd, just some workmen, the occasional person walking around. It's harder to hide in such an open space, although it would have been harder to spot me were I dressed like a workman..Which would have been the easiest way to sneak into that warehouse if I wanted to slip something small in my pocket and be on my way. A black trench coat tends to stick out more than neutral tones too."
rShe glances skywards, "Rooftops are excellent for getting around quickly and hiding. People dont usually think to look up into the sky when searching for someone, but it's easier to traverse rooftops at night. If you do look up, it's easier to spot a rooftop lurker in the day.."

Then there are the abandoned warehouses which she nods to. "Those are good places to hide - if you can get into an open window, or pick the lock without breaking it so you can lock the door behind you. It won't do to break open a door and leave the evidence behind."

Finally cats looks back at Carrie from behind her black thigh framed glasses, replacing the domino cat mask she usually wears. "Any questions?"

Carrie Kelley has posed:
"I don't think so...I've done a fair bit of looking for suspicious people..." Carrie notes, before she pushes off from the side of the building and sticks her hands into the front pocket of the hoodie. She asks, "How often do people notice you when you're...in this sort of getup?" she asks, motioning to the trench coat that Selina wears.

Selina Kyle has posed:
Catwoman nods and grins, "Well, since I'm just wearing a knee length trench coat and a hat and glasses on a cloudy chilly morning, I blend in fairly well, moreso than if I wore a long dramatic duster a la Matrix. I swapped out my domino mask for glasses because they look less suspicious than a full costume under a coat..Although I am wearing a black catsuit under this."

She looks the girl up and down thoughtfully, "To be honest, costumes are good for separating your civilian life from your other life. In my cares I'm a notorious cat burglar on the radar of all the police out there, so my secret identity is important. If you do plan to be high or odour and even if not, hiding your identity protect you from getting on police radar, usually something subtle that blends in with the shadows is good."

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley takes a step closer to Catwoman and an arm reaches out, slipping under the front of the trenchcoat, perhaps just to feel the catsuit underneath, or maybe to give her a little tease. Who knows. Either way, Carrie's eyes sparkle mischievously as she replies, "I think once I get to doing anything on Earth, I will...be much more committed to my costume. Right now though, since I'm..otherwise indisposed...I don't think a costume will do me much good. But, I have one if you want to see it?" she offers.

Selina Kyle has posed:
Catwoman arches a slightly amused brow at the younger woman but doesn't swat her away. "Hmm, like what you see?" she smirks, "Tough leather. Keeps me warm in cooler nights and absorbs some blows. I have a few other costumes too, spandex, Kevlar plated, some others that are more for show and less functional." she winks, "I'd love to see your costume, you wearing it under that?"

Carrie Kelley has posed:
"In a way...I have a compartment in the lower back of the hoodie where I store some things. It's in there." Carrie admits in a low tone, "If we sneak into one of these buildings, I'll slip into it..." She says, pulling her hand away. She doesn't comment about whether she finds something she likes or not, rather, she moves over to one of the doors to an abandoned building, and takes out of the front of her hoodie a small tool. She sticks it in the door, and after a moment, the lock pops open. She pushes the door ajar, and slips inside. If Catwoman follows that is up to her.

Selina Kyle has posed:
Catwoman nods and follows her to one of the abandoned warehouses. By this time, the workmen have finished loading their goods into another warehouse some 100 yards away, but Cats still pauses and glances around, making sure the coast is clear before she joins Catgirl.

Shes about to unlock the door herself but pauses, rather impressed to see the girl taking the initiative. "Hmm, so it seems you already have some talents coming into this..Excellent." she grins.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
"That wasn't me, that was the tool. Picked it up on a market on...well...nevermind.." Carrie replies, slipping the tool back into her hoodie and then...up and off it comes. Apparently she's not particularly shy about her body. She steps out of her shoes, her leggings get tugged down quickly. She remains in her underwear as she pulls out a small outfit, and then works herself into it. It's lycra, and does not leave anything to the imagination. The front zips up after a couple of moments, and she walks over to Catwoman and gives it a little show. The suit is patterned after hers, but it's not black. More leopard spotted, though they are very muted.

Selina Kyle has posed:
Catwoman smiles, "I see. Even so.." she waits patiently for her to open the lock and carefully closes the door behind them, locking it as best as she can. The lock picker may have damaged the lock a bit but not all the way. Good.

She then politely turns away as Catgirl gets changed, scanning their surroundings as she makes sure the building is empty, as well as checking out potential escape routes. This place seems empty, so if it's still being used to store goods, at the moment it's not being used.

There is a large back door leading to the loading dock that seems to have a busted lock, and there are some blankets in the corner, a couple of tables, playing cards, discarded cigarettes and some old oil barrels that look like they were recently used.

She turns back to look aporaisingly at Catgirl's costume and grins. "Nice. Sleek, lightweight, nothing that can get snagged. BLends in well with your surroundings. Only thing missing is a mask.."

Carrie Kelley has posed:
"I have one, just a second," Carrie says, before she reaches around behind her and pulls the hood of the outfit up over her head. It has cat ears, but it covers most of her face. So she's not like, TOTALLY identifiable. She slides up to Catwoman and asks, "Pass inspection?" as she twirls around to let the woman take a look at her full ensemble.

Selina Kyle has posed:
Catwoman smiles and nods her approval. "Nice touch, and keeps you warm on a cold night.." she smirks, "Now, of course it's good to have some tougher material like leather or Kevlar if you get into more high profile stuff like me but for now, that's good. Now, looking around this warehouse, what can you infer?

Carrie Kelley has posed:
"I can smell that bums sleep here, and that they've done so rather recently," Carrie says, before she spots the discarded blankets in the corner, "Probably shouldn't hang around too long, two eligible bachelorettes such as ourselves." she suggests, starting back towards the exit they came in through.

Selina Kyle has posed:
Catwoman nods, "Right, looks like they came here for warmth at night, although I wouldn't underestimate them either.." as she speaks, Catwoman kneels on the ground by one of the makeshift stools and grabs a switchblade. "Looks like they have some sort of weaponry, but you never know if they're packing guns too.." she smirks, "Which might be fun if they return later, but I wouldn't temp it. How about exits, see any?"
