Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan sprung herself from the hospital and hadn't come back to Happy Harbor. No, that was a place she'd rather not be right now given things were falling apart very fast with Tyler getting pulled by his guardians. She'd found herself in Central Park and had replied to missed texts from people. Hank and others got updates and locations. The woman was dressed in jeans, boots and a t-shirt. She's wearing her jacket over her shoulders given her arm is in a sling. She's currently sitting on a bench with her hand holding a to-go cup of coffee and just...looking off into the distance.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym says in a tiny voice, "It's Hank. Don't get scared." Then he grows to normal size, sitting on the same bench. He looks at the arm in the sling and frowns.

"Lousy St. Doofus terrorists. How are you doing Morrigan?" Texting locations were one thing. Nocturnal ants were a step up. With one part of his mind he arranges them around Morrigan and himself and puts them on alert.

And... with that in a show of great concern, Hank keeps his big mouth shut, wondering if a hug is appropriate or a pat on the back? He compromises putting his arm on the back of the bench but not touching her. He doesn't know how hurt she is or if she even wants human contact. Or him there.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"Why would I be scared?" Morrigan asks as she looks to Hank who grows into normal height beside her. "They don't want me to move my arm. The bullet managed to leak while it was stuck in the wound and the garlic is doing a number on things. It'll have to heal naturally...but we're expecting things to have issues." she shrugs her other shoulder. "Things will be fine. Though I'm not really sure what the hell Tyler's guardians are thinking." she growls. Yes, she was mad, but that was normal in this case. "How are you? Everyone else was alright I'm guessing?" she asks.

Hank Pym has posed:
Definitely not a hugging moment.

"When I do this people get startled. You got shot up. You might be a little jumpy. Everyone is concerned about you. Diallyl thiosulfonate, diallyl sulfide, diallyl disulfide, diallyl trisulfide, E/Z-ajoene, S-allyl-cysteine, and S-allyl-cysteine sulfoxide... sulfide compounds in a wound are the worst. You need a sulfide chelating compound. Or none invasive microbe that fixes sulphurs. The very thing that makes garlic anti-bacterial, makes it hell on cells. Sorry I fall back on science when I don't know what to say. You're somewhere between fragile and a blunt instrument. Uhm... Tyler's situation is understandable... no one is blaming you for it. I'm more concerned that St. Doofus is trying to take you down as part of some plan." He waves the hand nearer Morrigan.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
So, while probably more frequent for this musician, it is not every day an ant shows up at your doorstep making the indication to follow. By indication, well. Mike kind of likes having his arm free so yes he followed. It gets curiouser when soon after leaving the condo, they cross over into the entrance of the park. The reason not readily available near the entrance, Mike is left to wonder if there are any little Timmys stuck in wells or if Bo found an extremely late picnic so amazing he just had to show someone else.

He has a bit of a look of amusement to his features as he contemplates some silly possibilites. But upon seeing Hank and Morrigan in the park followed up by Bo turning his head back to give a nod of sorts. The amused look fades away. Ah.

Serious business it is.

He gives a nod and a pat to the head to the ant before approaching Hank and Morrigan. "Evening Hank. Morrigan." He greets, looking over to Morrigan, and the sling. "Good to see you about. How are you feeling?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a look to Hank, "Last year when they tried to kidnap Tyler they got their asses handed to them. They've had a year to read up on people. I'm not surprised they shot me with what they shot me with." she tells him. "Tyler was being protected by us, now he's not. Unless these guys hold a grudge they won't target the school again." she frowns at that. "I'm not the one to be worried about." she adds.

Then she looks up when Mike and Bo come heading over and there's a bit of a smile, "Mike, Bo. I'm here. Just not in a stella mood given things." she admits. "How are you guys?" she asks the group.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym rubs his chin. "Young metahumans are a commodity. This might be a probe. Assess resistance. Remove a key player. Or they may have gotten what they wanted. Tyler is out of the school and relatively easy to target. What's so special about Tyler, anyway?" Hank reaches out to pat Bo absently. The ant twitching his antennae happily.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
"Probably doing better." Mike admits, "I was already in the school dropping stuff off when the stuff was apparently happening." He glances to Hank and Bo, edges of the lips dipping further.

He looks back over to the principal. "What do we know about the guys who attacked? I heard some got caught?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan takes a drink of her coffee and then looks to the two men, "Remove the main protector, aye." she nods to that. "And I'm sure this is what they wanted. I don't know why his guardians couldn't see that." she grumps at nothing in particular. "Tyler can create things that he's read in books. I don't think that is why they want him though." she points out.

Then to Mike, "They are zealots that look to be connected to the old Knights Templar. They are some fanatics, but that's all we've found." she sighs. "I need to do more research." she admits.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym says, "Oh is that all? These new people coming up make my size morphing look pretty tame. Well... pretty sure this was a calling out and a probe. Now they're aware we have very capable staff. I can check Avengers' resources for St. Dumas, ask the Justice League. I'm afraid this is all I can do for now... I can offer you a place to crash tonight if you want to stay away from the house. I'm afraid it'd have to be Nadia's room. Not much chance she'll need it." As he says it the wheels are already turning in his head. Of course he can do something more.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike's brow raises at the description. "That's... pretty old. They still think they're in the crusades?" Not expecting an answer to that question he shakes his head, thinking about the comment regarding what Tyler can do. "...Do we know much about Tyler's actual parents?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan actually gives a chuckle at that, "He summoned a Raptor last year when he was touring the school and our librarian quit over it." she admits. "It's a...well...it's something new." she admits. "They found out last year we had good staff, I think they wanted to test the new folks and if the school was 'dangerous' of course his guardians would pull him. It all works in their favor." she shakes her head. "And no, I've got a hotel room for now. I'd rather not be at any place that someone can get hurt because of me." she tells Hank. "Thank you for the concern though." she adds.

Then to Mike, "I'm not sure what they think really. All I know is that they want to use a boy that's parents have been dead for less than a year and it bothers the hell out of me." she states. "And his parents were researchers. Lots of money etc." she explains.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
"I wonder what it was they were researching." Mike muses aloud. He blinks, glancing up in thought. "Any idea where they took the Dumas guys that got caught? It wasn't your hospital, was it?"

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym says, "Yeah perhaps we could start by asking them a few pointed questions."

Michael Hannigan has posed:
"Or something else." Mike muses. He gets quiet. REAL quiet.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"They're at the hospital that is in Happy Harbor. Probably wouldn't take much to talk to them, or whatever. The cops are guarding them while they recover and then they'll get hauled into jail and all that good stuff." Morrigan states. She then stretches her legs and rises to her feet, "Let's walk, I've been laid up for longer than I like and I feel a cheeseburger is needed." she muses as she wanders towards the paths out of the park.
