Synopsis: Daisy visits Abcde and is rewarded with chocolate cake and discussions about fictional characters and disembodied friendly spirits
Cast of Characters: Abcde Prescelta, Daisy Johnson

Abcde Prescelta has posed:
While SHIELD had moved out of Peggy and Daniel's home, Abcde had not. She would really like to move back home to her apartment, but until they give her the all clear that's not ready to happen. May be they just like the smells of making or Mittens' purring sounds.

One of those smells fills the house this fine afternoon. Triple chocolate cake is cooling on the kitchen counter and the oven is slowly cooling itself down. Also open on the kitchen table is a book on magic with a small ritual dagger holding the page open. Mittens has curled up next to the book with tail to nose.

Abcde has been idly staring outside at the small section of lawned area that defines suburbia. This is not her natural habitat and it was going to drive her crazy. Especially with the agents she met off doing shieldy things.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Yea, the quietness can really drive one mad..."

Enter super spy agent Daisy Johnson! Or is it Mary Sue Poots? It's a toss up. Yet she has made her way in unnoticed by the plucky sorceress (even if perhaps not unnoticed by the evil Mittens). She is one of those agents that has moved out of the house as well, now on the Playground, but she was doing some catch up.

And considering her last mission, perhaps hoping to catch up with Abcde herself.

She is standing by the door to the kitchen, arms folded together and her shoulder leaning against the entrance while she take stock of the kitchen. And the cake. Specially the cake. "Is that chocolate cake still hot from cooking?" she asks with a look of 'feed me!'. Yes, she is even worse than Mittens.

Abcde Prescelta has posed:
Mitten's purring suddenly gets louder. Possibly he liked that Daisy snuck in, or just wants to be noticed. Abcde on the other hand almost jumps out of her skin. She places a hand to her chest and turns around with a look of amusement. "Agent Daisy Johnson," she says with delight that there is someone to talk to.

"It should be cool enough for consumption now," she says considering the fate of the chocolate cake and those hungry eyes of Daisy's. Plates are fetched and a cutting knife. Mittens seems nonplussed by the addition of cake and plates at the table and certainly not interested in moving to make things easier for the humans.

Abcde cuts a slice for herself and for Daisy. "Please tell me you have good news and I can go home?," she says with a touch of desperation in her voice. The book is shut and the knife is slid back in to a sheath and Mittens is pushed in his current shape further in of the middle of the table to make space. He pretends not to care that he's been relocated by purring louder.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Hello, Abcde." Daisy offers a nod back at the young woman, dislodging herself from her position by the door to approach, a smile offered before she reaches out for Mittens to give it a rubbing behind the ears. No claws, Mittens!

"And no, I don't have good news of that kind." she tells the other woman with a brief sigh. "We still need to figure out exactly what brought Daniel to be brought in, and what your involvement is. Specially with that other man still on the loose.." Malevolo!

"But hey, cake." As if that made things better. At least they do for Daisy! And when the slice is offered she digs in, filling her mouth hungrily. It's as if she hasn't eaten in a while. Which she hasn't! Just back from a mission. In fact there's a bruising still noticeable on one hand, along with some scraping on the side of her face.

"How are you finding your stay to be anyway? Besides all the quiet?" She then asks between chomping down the cake.

Abcde Prescelta has posed:
Mittens accepts the ear rubbing and places a paw, without claws, on her hand to try and keep her invested in this action. The tip of his tail begins to flick though - a tell tail sign this is soon to turn in to a game and games with Mittens always involve claws.

There's a small slump of her shoulders as she's told there's no good news of that nature. Her eyes look over the agent before her.. Quake. This is the superhero she's seen on TV fighting neo-nazis. And also apparently robbing a gold vault in Saudi Arabia. There are bruises.

"Too quiet. We tried to move to a Mutant Town safe house but some crazy woman called Dottie was there and had bugged the place. May and Peggy got in a fight with her and I almost got to drive the fancy SHIELD SUV."

"I see you've been busy though. Superheroing.. Quake," She cups her chin and plants her elbows on the table, then leans forward to smile at Daisy. "May told me. I'm so.. what's a better word than impressed? you're awesome. You fly, you do things with your hands and throw people around and stuff... how do you do all of that? if I want to fly I have to use a broom."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Further rubbings would come later. Daisy was busy with the cake now! Besides, she didn't like claws. So Mittens can wait! And maybe rethink on his life choices of using claws during his games.

A sympathetic look comes to Daisy's expression at seeing the slump of shoulders, a nod given shortly after. "Soon enough I am sure." then quirking a brow at the tale of fighting off against some crazy. "Dottie, is it? Well, just one more enemy to take care of..." which apparently SHIELD had a lot of these days. She doesn't focus on that, instead letting out a brief chuckle.

"So you have discovered my SECRET identity." A bit of a joke. It's no secret to most anyone anymore now that she is on the papers. "Didn't know May to be so chatty though!" though she does sound a touch embarassed about the praise, "And how I do that? Well, I listen to the song of the universe." which is as good an explanation as any. "Or so Master Fu tells me. And Abcde, if most people want to fly they use a plane. Not a broom. It's not like what you do is mundane, is it?!"

Abcde Prescelta has posed:
Abcde begins nomming her slice of chocolate cake. It's chocolate with chocolate icing and chocolate chips throughout. Quite decadent. This young witch really knows how to bake. She grin a bit when Daisy chuckles. "I've just never met anyone with super powers before I met .. well .. May. I'd never met an Empath before and I've never met a ..you before."

She looks a touch puzzled though, "The universe has a song? Master Fu? Okay if you were trying to suck me in with the intrigue you needn't worry I am already absolutely fascinated."

She smirks a little bit as the discussion of flying on a plane is brought up. "If I were flying to California I'd go on a plane too. Broom travel is hell on the hair," she says and licks her fingers of chocolate residue. Mittens stands up and stretches, placing his arched body between the two as they talk just to make sure he's the center of attention.

"Soooo I'm writing a new book and I really want to create a character based off of you. Not you, but like you.. to protect your identity. I asked May if I could do the same with her...." she pauses and asks, "May doesn't talk much around you?" Apparently she does around Abcde. "Anyway, she declined my offer. I think she is quite a private person." Making her call to the goddess of magic in the middle of a street intersection did seem to make her very uncomfortable too.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Another chuckle and Daisy shakes her head a bit. "It's all very new." this about Master Fu. "But it's been an adventure. Same way that May's powers are still .., new too. But she is adapting well enough at least." she then finishing up on the first slice with a big grin. "Gosh, those chocolate chips really give it that oomph." notice how she said FIRST slice!

Not that she immediately goes for another. No need to just yet. Let the first slice settle in. Bask in it's glorious aftermath. Besides, there's a Mittens. And eventually she does extend one hand to give it some brushing on the fur. Who knew she'd become a cat lover? But the cat she had rescued with Matt had helped with that ... And she did miss the little rascal. She lets out a longing sigh while petting on Mittens, looking down at the cat.

The talk about the book makes her blink a few times and she looks up to Abcde, "A character based on me...? Like what?" look, she is a fan of those books so there's a bit of a uncontrolled little excitement in her. Even if she does seem to be somewhat surprised.

Abcde Prescelta has posed:
"Well I really want to write a love story across time.. slightly inspired by Peggy and Daniel but not really. Besides, their.. story is possibly even a bit too weird for my readers. Anyway. A superhero like you. Flies, has control over.. magic waves." She nods her head excitedly having recently made this concept up.

"So the protagonist, slightly grown up from the last book, is slinging all these spells and the superhero totally not Quake but totally Quake amplifies them at their enemies," she says and flicks a wrist, "I'm still developing ideas. But she could fly and touch the very soul of other beings with her super abilities."

She throws in a complement, "And like you she'd have amazing hair." Mittens turns his head to regard Daisy as she pets him and he turns and jumps on her shoulder and springs off of it in to the next room. "Don't mind him he is doing his usual patrol for shadow monsters," she says with all seriousness on her face.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Magic waves, uh ..." Well, in a way it was sort of true. It was all magic in a sense. And the world *is* magic. So Daisy just grins when Abcde goes about describing this new heroine, her brows quirking up. "Alright, I think I'd be game for that." then she folding her arms together. Because there is always a price to pay!

"On one condition..." eyes narrowed. Here it comes the price! "I want a signed first edition of the thing. AAaaaaand, to have my other ones signed up." because yes, she has them. On paper. Which is a huge concession since she hates anything in paper. But not those books apparently!

With Mittens going on patrol she chuckles at the talk about hair. "I .., yea.. I do try! You should had seen my last one though ..." when she got zapped by electricity a couple of days ago and her hair was all standing up. She lets out a sigh.

Abcde Prescelta has posed:
There's a nod of agreement, "Sure. I was thinking of calling her Repercussion. Like, the bad guys will suffer repercussions but also it's a wave thing. Cool right?" She smiles and cuts more cake because she can't help but notice the way Daisy is eying it.

"Daisy. I'm stuck in a house with my cat, an oven, and the internet... pleeease tell me about annny of your adventures, recent or otherwise. Like, why were you robbing a middle eastern vault? ..or if that's too touchy anny thing really. Or if the sun goes down and you're game we can see who can fly faster. Broom or.. your Fu-song."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Repercussion, eh? "There's always Replica too ..." hey, she needs to try to sell that name. Maybe one day someone will appreciate it! But then she grins. "Repercussion does sound great though..!" and she certainly accepting the cake when it's offered.

"The vault? We were after proof about connections between a saudi ambassador and someone up on our government.." she sighs. "With the consequences you have seen on TV." she explains about the SHIELD disavowment. "The mission sort of went haywire though and .., well, you saw what I had to do." her eyes trail down to her own wrists momentarily then back up.

"Yet there was something I actually wanted to talk with you about, regarding a recent mission. How good are you with ghosts and .., communicating with them?" she questions. "Or well, not sure if she's a ghost but .., there's someone, a dear friend and Agent, who is in a sort of stasis. Apparently her spirit is roaming free while her body remains here." she says, ".. And I just saw her spirit a couple of days ago."

Abcde Prescelta has posed:
Abcde hmms thoughtfully, "Replica. That sounds like a great name for a supervillain. Like somebody somehow made a copy of Repercussion and then they have battle her even though she has the same powers... because she's a replica?" She twists her lips, "I dunno. That sounds a bit lazy plot-wise. I'll have to think on it."

She follows Daisy's look to her wrists, but doesn't really clue in to any problem. "Hm. There sure is a lot going on in the world of politicians and spies that I know nothing about. I feel like a veil is being lifted from my eyes. Whatever happened to tire executives corruptly paying politicians to build more highways or something."

As Daisy begins to describe her ghost problem, or her friends floating spirit problem, she decides to have another piece of cake herself too and cuts both. "Well.. a free roaming spirit is not the same as a ghost, so how you'd communicate to them would be different.. but I can imagine it'd be possible. It's not something I've ever tried before. Usually spirits that linger around are quite vengeful and not to be trifled with.. but if this is a friend. How did she look.. as a spirit?"

"I remember reading a theory about why the spirit of a thing stays within a thing. Like a container with a lid that fits.. when you die the lid falls off and the spirit is free to move on. The container isn't a home anymore. I suppose, in theory, that might happen to someone without them dying first?"

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"If it helps we believe it to be connected to Asgard. Since she has a relation to them.." In more ways than one! Daisy then digs back into the cake with a small nod. "And not exactly a ghost per se. Since she wasn't sucked into the evil mask like the other ghosts were." a beat, "It's a bit of a long story." another bite on the cake. "But yes, more like a spirit. As for her, she isn't vengeful. She has been lingering about where people die, or the possibility of it." she considers it for a moment, tapping a finger to her chin. "I saw her on this plane that was going to crash. She was near one of the pilots, as if accompanying him to the afterlife. As for how she looked, she seemed very much herself. No wicked glee, or cackling, or anything like that if that's what you are asking about.."

She then listens to the theory, thoughtful. "Well, it's a possibility. Her body is alive. But we need to figure out how to get her back into her body. However that works." it's the kind of magic she doesn't know much about at all!

Abcde Prescelta has posed:
Abcde raises an eyebrow at the explanation. "Asgard related, appears when people are going to die? You're describing a valkyrie aren't you? though they're meant to take warriors to valhalla to fight in some endless war. Others in norse mythology go to different halls to celebrate life and eternity and the like."

"But since Thor turned up.. does the Asgardian embassy have anything useful to say? ...it seems to me like you'd need to talk to her if you were going to convince her to go back in to her body. Then a bit of magic to fix the vessel so it can be a home for her spirit again. But... also you'd need to be near death."

She grimaces a bit, "It seems like you're near that a lot, but there is magic to _nearly_ die. Some kinds of magical requires you to be closer to the spiritual realm to do it. It's ... dark magic. Not something I am comfortable doing. But if you can find a necromancer who can be trusted, then, you have a shot of luring her in for a discussion."

She waves a hand, "Actually, forget about this idea. It's a terrible idea. I wouldn't trust a necromancer with the spirit of a friend. Communicating though. Bizarrely you know those ghost hunter people who do tv serieses and youtube shows? they try to capture spirit voices but do so around haunted places which is neeever going to work. Well, they have the right idea, just the wrong target audience. Their approach could actually let you hear her. And then..." she winces a little, "This is getting complex - you'd need someone dying to talk to her on your behalf. Before they died."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Valkyries, mmm..." Daisy offers a sharp nod back at Abcde, grinning. "That's a good starting point actually, and exactly .., just like those.." and that was a good clue to go on. Yet what's said next.., about necromancy, and being near a dead person.. It has her shaking her head, "No no, don't think I'd want to go through those means of achieving it.. Specially as being near someone dying I'd be doing all I could to save them.."

She finishes chomping down on the cake and smiles, "But that's a good help to start already. Just need to figure out the best approach. Though I have got to be going soon..." a look given to the cake. "Say, could I convince you to get a couple of slices inside a tupperware so I could bring it to my roommate? I am sure she will like it."

Two slices though. Because Daisy has to eat as well. No good on just bringing a slice for Jemms!

Abcde Prescelta has posed:
She nods her head, "Good luck. You SHIELD agents have very interesting problems. May with her thing. Now you with this thing." She smirks and nods her head, getting up and fetching a container. She cuts up four slices and puts them in the container. "This is Peggy and Daniel's so make sure you bring it back," she warns and puts the lid on to seal its chocolaty goodness in.

She hands the container to Daisy and says, "Don't be a stranger. I'm going stir crazy and so is Mittens. Also I've been chatting with my aunts and I think I've found the perfect person to help me with _my_ problem. It could get.. interesting."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"I will make sure to come by again." Daisy assures Abcde before taking the container of holy chocolate in her hands. Ah yisss. "And we will talk more about things.." a laugh, "Maybe on Repercussion's adventures."

She looks around the kitchen briefly before settling her gaze back on Abcde, "If you need any help with that problem let me know. I believe there's involvement with Hydra, whatever that creature's other intentions may be.. And it could get dangerous." a beat, "Besides interesting.."

She winks back at Abcde and then starts on her way out.
