Location: Midtown
Synopsis: Arrested but not taken in, the obsession continues
Cast of Characters: Camellia Lowe, Greg Rollins

Camellia Lowe has posed:
Had this crime been committed by armed robbers not even an eyebrow would have been raised. The populace was used to much worse than simple robbery under gunpoint, it was the specific way that it was committed that attracted so much attention. It started with six blinding flashes of light, from which came hideous pale goblin-esque creatures that smashed in through the windows of the local card game store branch.

Moreover, the fact that customers were being flung outside like ragdolls and battered out of the store gave further way to hysteria, as what could only be some sort of alien or demonic creature begins to carry crates of packaged boxes of cards outside, piling them up neatly. This process repeats itself until the owner is also flung outside, the police now on the way, but not likely to arrive on time as it was known with quick robberies. The pile of boxes only grows, though there is a certain delay, as individual stacks of cards have to be collected and put into bags as well as the rarer copies found in the storage.

Greg Rollins has posed:
Gex Rol, having decided to take a lazy flight around the Big Apple as he had heard it called, was doing just that. His wings were out, the gliding being pretty soothing as he stayed well up into the air. At least until he saw the weirdness below.

Flying down, he taps the last person thrown out on the shoulder, "Hello! Um, what is going on here?"

He could use his mental powers, but his handler with the DEO said don't go mind calling humans. And right now? Well, the alien teen's just a bit curious. And just staring a bit at the goblins from behind his helmet. Those definitely look alien, maybe something else? It's definitely hard for him to tell in this case.

Camellia Lowe has posed:
The man seems to be a young adult, he points out at the store. "Those things just appeared out of nowhere and started throwing everyone out! What the hell do they even WANT with card games?!" He exclaims before taking off running, he didn't want to find out what was going to happen once all the cards had been collected.

In front of the pile of boxes was a young girl, seemingly not bothered by the demons, just watching them bring out boxes, packets, plastic bags, piling a large amount of them all in one place. By then they seem to be getting the last few boxes and start coming out with these small rectangular metal containers, apparently where the rarest cards were kept for preservation purposes. Those she takes herself and shoves into beat up, loose-fitting cargo pants she was wearing. The beasts go inside after that to do a final sweep of the store.

Greg Rollins has posed:
Gex just has to stare at that one. "Card games? You have games not on computers here? Neat!" He seems to consider as he looks at the situation. Then well, puts his arms down to make his wings disappear and walks over towards the young girl.

"Hi! I am sorry, young one, but you will have to give those back." He looks pretty confident, and definitely some sort of hero. "Including those you stuck in your pants. I do not wish to hurt you or your friends, but I will make you give them back if I have to."

The apparent teenager judging by build and all looks at the goblin creatures, making note of where they are it seems before turning his attention back to the girl.

Camellia Lowe has posed:
Camellia Lowe slowly turns around, her face is the look of absolute exasperation, she loathes his existence with her eyes, simply for being here to make this more difficult. Without saying anything, moving or even moving her eyes off him she sends a command to the creatures behind her. All six of them come running forwards and surround Gex while she then steps backwards.

One of them is sent at him to test his powers, it's fairly agile, like a small animal, being half the size of a person. However it is strong enough to overpower a grown man, and it leaps right at his chest, trying to grab him by the throat. In the meantime she takes more steps backwards and stares at a point in the ground, closing her left eye. Her right eye turns pitch black, except for an absurdly bright spot in the center, which sends out a beam of light onto the ground like a spotlight.

Greg Rollins has posed:
Gex isn't about to let something grab him by the throat. Who would? Let alone come at him like that. He raises a hand to catch the creature's own, then twists as he tries to chunk it into it's fellows. It's acrobatic twist, flip, and throw all in one, too. One he uses to try to put the creatures on one side and her on the other.

His head looks to her briefly, trying to scan with his eyes for anything magnetic. Or if the boxes she so helpfully has in her pockets are magnetic as well, then looks back to the apparent greater threat of the alien looking creatures. "I do not suppose you would consider surrendering to the authorities?"

Well, he is giving them a chance at least, but that has to be a bit corny.

Camellia Lowe has posed:
Camellia Lowe largely ignores the man, seeming to be focused on *something* she was doing with that beaming light. The other creatures surrounding him just spread out more when one of them gets flung, leaping off to the sides. Noticing this, she sends all of them in, three of them go in first, trying to swipe at his legs with claws, while the other two jump at his chest. This would be shortly followed by two more, one using a car to gain height and attempt to pile on him from above while the last one moves in for another claw swipe, this time aiming for his side. "You suppose correctly." She replies as a strange willowy form begins take shape in the light coming out of her eye.

She's obviously in a big hurry, but for some reason she refuses to leave the boxes. She does have three aluminum containers in the pockets of her pants.

Greg Rollins has posed:
Instead of staying in one place, Gex moves again, avoiding the two clawing at his legs but getting piled on by the others. Strangely the claw swipe meets... something. And just doesn't seem to scratch the metal suit.

Gex's response to it is simply, "That tickles. Try again?"

Trying to keep the creatures at bay, he moves his arms more to defend himself before a pair of beams shoot out, followed by another pair as he tries to blast the creatures off of him. First by wrist beams, then by ones that come from his elbow. The creatures might notice small panels sliding to allow that.

He tries to get an eye on the two that were going for his legs before as he tries to blast and punch his way free.

Camellia Lowe has posed:
Camellia Lowe kept her focus firmly on the a black thing forming within her spotlight gaze, rapidly getting more and more solid. Four creatures go down swiftly, but by the time he's going for the last two they suddenly disappear, poofing into a mass of greyish light. With a few final moments the summoning is complete, and before the girl appears a swirling mass of black wind, vaguely looking like it has tornado arms and a main tornado body.

Rather than attacking, however, it engulfs the boxes and bags of cards and forms into a very large typhoon, soaring off into the sky with the stolen merchandise contained within it. If the man tried to stop it physically he'd end up going through the flurries of wind, perhaps knocking a box or another out of it, but there was a very strong resistance of swirling winds protecting them.

With that done her eye goes back to normal and she stands with her arms crossed. "Oh, I forgot about the money." She looks back into the store, then back to the hero figure in front of her. "Eh, screw it."

Greg Rollins has posed:
"What?" He looks confused, then shields his eyes at the wind storm suddenly. With his primary assailants no longer found, he turns to look and tilts his head to the side. "What am I dealing with?" He says more to himself as he watches for a second.

Then, well, no way he can stop something like that. Her, on the other hand? He moves his hand so his wrist is pointed at her. Complete with another little panel sliding back as he takes aim at her very certainly.

"Put your hands in the air and I will not fire, young one." Those looked like lasers he was shooting before, too. And he's obviously torn between going after the loot or capturing the one apparently in charge of all of this.

Camellia Lowe has posed:
Camellia Lowe smiled at him, this was one she hadn't tested yet. "You're dealing with something extremely complicated that I really don't have the patience to explain to everyone who shows up." Mostly because she didn't understand very well either and it gave her a headache. "Go ahead, shoot me, you a sidekick to that, uh, Iron dude? Or something?" She says casually, walking straight towards him. If unimpeded she'd lift a leg and plant it directly onto one of his knees, then leaning onto it." There wasn't anything else really done from her part, she was just waiting now as the police would, eventually, arrive, any time now. They did like to take their time and let powered people do the job first and just cuff whatever was leftover.

Greg Rollins has posed:
The silver armored man shakes his head, "No, but I did warn you." He is on one knee. Might look a bit cute in some way, but he was just perhaps waiting a bit. She had seen that he could blast people with that strange suit of his.

And he does fire. Low powered blast and all. It'll feel more like a punch than anything else from a normal human. A pretty good punch, but if she had any superhuman durability or the like? Might just feel like a tickle.

"Just who are you anyways? My computer has nothing on you so far." He asks.

Camellia Lowe has posed:
Camellia Lowe doesn't seem to even notice he did anything except for her body jerking, she blinks slowly. "Your computer wouldn't, that's for sure." She gives him a cocky grin. "You'll never find out anything about me using computers." It really paid off to be from the past, even if she wasn't exactly a time traveller. "So, you may know me just as that really weird chick for now, and that's how I like to keep it. Don't need people pry-" She lets out a groan of exasperation. "FUCK." She exclaims to herself, all of a sudden.

She looks at him with an expression of dismay and sighs deeply. "Okay, I'm going to have to inspect you now." She reaches out to start feeling up his suit, mostly around the shoulder and chest area, and would look to where he had shot the blasts from, seeing if it really resembled the same kind of tech Tony Stark used. "What'd you say your name was? You from here? How does this work, is it connected to your spine? How do you control it?"

Greg Rollins has posed:
That definitely gives him pause. And it definitely didn't resemble Tony Stark's tech. It looked more... streamlined? And he fires again. This one stronger, trying to at least force her away from him even as he takes a few steps back. "Oh no, like I am going to tell you how a Ziranian Knight Suit works."

The idea of what he was going to call himself really gave him pause, "I guess I go by Astro-Knight."

He still looks uncertain about what to do now. And his eyes do go beyond her, checking to see what the civilians are doing in the mean time.

Camellia Lowe has posed:
Camellia Lowe gets knocked on her butt this time, again she doesn't even flinch, just gets up right away. Her eyes close for a moment, humming lightly. "So you're some kind of alien I take it, from the name. Doesn't seem magical." She seems very tense for a moment, her eyes fixated in the distance, as if she was completely distracted, but her expression is very intense at the same time. After a long time she lets out a sigh of relief. "Yes, indeed, so I cannot beat you right now, most likely. Windy isn't a good match against you." Now with the sirens finally ringing close she waits near the sidewalk.

Looking over her shoulder she gives him a worried glance. "You're going to have issues in the future. I'd say this is your last chance to kill me and be rid of them, but, that'd never work." She seems to be in a foul mood again, for some reason, but this time it she doesn't seem to be pissed off at him. As the poilce cars start pulling up she holds her hands out together, waiting to be cuffed. Clearly this is not her first time.

Greg Rollins has posed:
Astro-Knight looks at her through the lens of his helmet. "Issues? I do not doubt it. And sorry, but I don't kill. Not my way of doing things."

He keeps aim at her, now that he knows his blasts can at least put her down for a few minutes as he backs up to let the cops do the cuffing.

And to get a clear area. Once she's cuffed, he gives a nod to the cops, then brings his hands to his side before bringing them up to reveal silver wings. He barely crouches before taking off into the air and circling once before taking off into the sky.

Mainly because he wants to look for the stolen merchandise so he can deliver it back right now, but also to avoid having to explain things. Like a lot of things.

Camellia Lowe has posed:
Camellia Lowe allows herself to be taken into the police car and relaxes in the back. Astro-Knight, even going in the direction the Flurry Demon went, would have a hard time finding any hints as to where the merchandise actually ended up. The store owner gives a crying statement about his cards on TV but the actual amount of money lost wasn't really that high, as opposed to something like a jewelry store. He does get his rarer cards back, at least.

Later on, if he bothered with the news, the local channel would report the police car was much later upturned by an explosion of wind and the subject they were taking under arrest had somehow escaped her bidings and left in the confusion. The two officers suffered light cuts and are otherwise fine. A passerby at the time leaves his statement to the news saying "That shit ain't right, something real creepy is going on with whoever was in that car, I can feel it in my bones. Y'all ever seen black wind? And I don't mean smoke."
