Cast of Characters: Reed Richards, Susan Richards

Reed Richards has posed:
The condensation on the window to their suite is the only sign of heat that penetrates the climate controlled environs ot the first family of super heroics and omniversal exploration, but Reed is still restless, some switch that even his great intellect cannot turn off has been triggered by the weather and his body refuses to sleep, spread out instead across the bedroom, across the bed, a subtle wave of restless energy, or idle thought given motion and momentum, almost like a dream of ocean past, thoughts of scientific fancy.

Susan Richards has posed:
Even the first family of super heroics can get their backsides kicked by the heat on occasion, and such seemed to be the case for the Richards. Whereas Reed melted into a puddle that ebbed and flowed in strange ways across their bedroom, rippling with thoughts of scientific fancy, Susan instead gave in to the craving for... Chinese. Oh, yes. The beauty of living in the 'city that never sleeps' is that somewhere, somehow, there was always a source of good kung pao chicken at all hours.

As she comes back into the bedroom, with a rather large bag in her arms, the savory smells that wafted from it filled the room. Spices, meats, stir-fried delights and who knows what else. Surely it was enough to break through even the most persistent heat-related miasma!

Reed Richards has posed:
Reed Richards blinks and rises, pulling himself from the depths of that puddles and smacking his lips, "Is that Jade Garden Kung Pao? This is why I love you. What else did you get?" Reed pulls himself together, with a grins and sigh, "This is insufferable and I will bet you that Johnny and Ben are sleeping like babies." he moves past you looking for the remnants of the order. "Spring rolls? Sweet and sour pork?" Reed is smacking his lips as he eyes your perfectly proportioned bowl still marveling at your innate ability to balance ingredients.

Susan Richards has posed:
Susan is just pulling the various containers from the bag, and she grins. Indeed, there do appear to be spring rolls, sweet and sour pork, kung pao chicken--and who knows what else! "I had no intention of cooking at all today in this heat, so I brought home very nearly a Zen order." Her eyes twinkle with mirth as she leans in to kiss Reed, chuckling softly. "Make me one of everything."

As she bustles about setting out all the containers, she can't help a smile, looking out towards the general direction of the guest room. "I've really enjoyed having our guest with us. It's almost a trip back in time, if that makes sense?"

Reed Richards has posed:
Reed Richards mms as he starts making a plate, he watches you and moves intricately synched to your motions balancing you in their own form of zen as he pils on pork and spring rools, dumplings, chicken lo mein, lobster pad thai. He laughs, "That should just be a Richards at this point, though I guess it maybe three of everything by now.

Reed wraps himself around you and kisses you softly, "I've noticed the perk, you're glowing again. I'm so happy, I just, we need to reach out to Hank and find out more about her, See if he has any history what her story could be." Reed nods, "It does, I knew from the day that I first met you, we would have a family, that it was important to you, that it would be important to our lives.

Susan Richards has posed:
"Even if we're never the greatest superheroes the world has ever known, I'll be glad if we're the greatest -family- that the world has ever known," Susan says, smiling and leaning back into that wonderful embrace. Reaching for a spring roll, she holds it between her teeth and chuckles, almost as if daring Reed to take a bite. It was a simple, quiet, peaceful moment--the very sort of thing the first family of heroics fought to preserve.

Reed Richards has posed:
Reed Richards takes the bait and bites off the other half of that spring roll, with a kiss, lingering on the kiss. He smiles, "I know. this is after all why we fight." Reed holds you close and eats the chinese food slowly basking in the moment of quiet intimacy away from the trials of their lives and the cares of the world.
