Erik Lensherr has posed:
Not too long after Magneto's offer to the people of Genosha, Asteroid M is contacted as Lorna has gotten in touch and expressed an interest in a meeting with him. He arranges her transport up to the station, and she is escorted to the control center. The featureless metal wall opens, forming into a circular portal that allows her into the Inner Sanctum. Magneto is in the large chair in the middle of the room, turned to face the opening as she enters the area.

Standing up, he steps down to the floor and strides over to her, a slight smile on his face. "Lorna, it's good to see you, it's been far too long. I'm glad you were willing to come here to see me. How have you been?"

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna Dane wasn't familiar with the layout of the asteroid having never been here before. Thankfully there were those that would have told her the way, if not outright shown her. When the doors open she strides in without hesitation. The entire room is taken in with one sweep of her gaze that finally falls on Magneto within. For just a moment she can feel her resolve falter. Just a moment. Then she lifts her head toward his rather friendly greeting with a scowl of her own.

"Busy," she assures tersely. "Very, very busy." Raising a hand swiftly she catches herself to just point at him, lips pressed together in a thin line. "You ... You have ten seconds to give me a very good reason I shouldn't punch you." If he'd even let her. He might be older but she knew he was still a rather skilled fighter in his own regard.

Erik Lensherr has posed:
Erik Lensherr shakes his head, the smile faltering as he sighs a bit, "I assume you mean over Genosha. I can't really make excuses for that, to this day I don't understand what was going through my mind when I stole from our own people to form the basis of this place." He shrugs, expression a bit sad as he adds, "I have thought back on it, and I just cannot comprehend what was going through my mind. I was barely rational after being unbottled, and the only thing on my mind was needing a safer place."

He raises his head to look at her, then simply says, "If you need to hit me to assuage your anger, I will not stop you. It wouldn't be any worse than what I've thought of myself since hurting the people who meant the most to me." He doesn't have the famous helmet on at the moment, he left it on an arm of the chair, so punching will not result in broken knuckles from hitting it.

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna Dane swings her hand up to rake back through her hair. It was one thing to want to punch someone and another entirely for them to invite it. Tempting as it may be she abstains. This time at least. "Of course it's about Genosha! We were doing so well recovering after we thought you dead! Now we're back to square one. If that." A long breath is let out slowly. The outburst of anger fades as she tries to focus.

"I thought you were dead. We all did. We grieved your loss. I'm ... I'm glad you're *not* but so much has happened least of all this." A gesture is made that encompasses the room they're in pointedly. It drops back to her side after. "You said in your statement that you'd found a source of metal to provide. Genosha needs that without a doubt."

Erik Lensherr has posed:
Erik Lensherr nods, "Being out here has paid some dividends, I've found a number of large asteroids laced with various metals that I can extract. I will happily provide it to Genosha to begin to make up for what I did. As you know, I can also form it into whatever is needed, wiring, pipes, beams, construction materials of all types. Let me know when and where, and I will have it brought down, then I will come myself to form it and install it as needed, must as I did in Bushwick when I restored the connections to the New York power grid and sewers."

He regains a little of the smile as he says, "I'm glad you're going to allow me to help. I've been wishing I could work on fixing my mistake since shortly after I did it and realized what I had done, but things were in such a state that I didn't have the chance to try to work on repairing the damage until now."

Lorna Dane has posed:
"An asteroid?" Lorna actually looks quite relieved hearing this. "That at least puts aside my concern that we might have some foreign nation or another out for revenge for stealing their assets. That actually would be ideal." Bemused, she adds, "It's not as if we've much choice regardless. Genosha needs the materials to rebuild again. I would be doing them as much a disservice as you had should I decline the offer."

Erik Lensherr has posed:
Erik Lensherr chuckles, "Yes, I have no interest in causing more problems by stealing from someone else to provide for Genosha. This belongs to nobody, so cannot cause any disputes. And of course, I can turn it into whatever metals are needed, so it's current composition is unimportant."

He looks her in the eyes, "But that can wait a little while. How have _you_ been, Lorna? I've gotten basic reports, of course, but that doesn't tell me anything of your mental state or feelings. I've thought about coming to the school to see you, but I didn't know if you'd want me to."

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna Dane stares blankly back a moment. Just a moment, and then her head turns to the side so she can reach up to pinch the bridge of her nose. "Stressed to say the very least. I never enjoyed the thought of being royalty to begin with. I couldn't turn away from Genosha when it was in such a dire state of need, though. I still won't." Looking back again she offers a wry smile. It wasn't much, but it was something. "Clarice has been wonderful help, and there have been others that have offered. Ultimately though it comes down to my decision. I feel like my every move is being watched all the time."

Erik Lensherr has posed:
Erik Lensherr nods, "Trust me, I know that exact feeling. I'm glad Blink has been helpful to you, she's been invaluable here as well. We must do something nice for her, she's been greatly overworking herself in order to help you and the Brotherhood as well. She's one of the best for getting bulk supplies up here, considering how big a load can come though her portals. Then add traveling around, and bodyguard duties, she is most dedicated."

"The burdens of leadership never really grow easier, but eventually you get used to always being the one who has to make the call. I have faith in you, Lorna, you've had good training. Is there anything specific I could help you with?"

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna Dane shakes her head quickly at that question. "No, nothing I can think of. Just getting started on getting the infrastructure up will help immensely. Other than that... I couldn't say either way. Less stress would help." Was there more she ought to think of though? It had been awhile since she had thought of anything about herself other than the basics. Arms cross over her chest she drums fingers against her elbow idly, thinking.

"... I really was upset when I thought you'd died. I still feel a bit in shock at it not being true after having dealt with it. I think I'm just coasting along now getting things done as they come up." Her head shakes again lightly, "I can't say anything else because I haven't had time to properly think in ages."

Erik Lensherr has posed:
Erik Lensherr nods his head, "I can understand that. If you do think of anything, you know how to contact me. I am willing to help you however I can, my daughter. You have always been very important to me, you know that. I am sorry that I added to your difficulties, but hopefully we will be able to fix that and get Genosha back into good shape."

He gestures around, "And you are, of course, always welcome here as well. We have rather extensive facilities at this point, I am happy with the growth we have seen. Oh, which reminds me, if you have anyone that you need to get to somewhere safe, I have room here for people. This can be a safe haven for those who are hunted for one reason or another should it be needed."

Lorna Dane has posed:
"I will keep that in mind. Thankfully there hasn't been need for any such thing in quite some time at least." A small blessing if you ask Lorna. Some curiosity causes her to glance over her shoulder at the room in general once again. "I think I might like to look around a bit before I head back down, at least. I admit I have been curious about this place. It's not every day I get the chance to be in space." Looking back she regards Erik again with with a softer expression. "Thank you. We will make use of what we can, obviously, and I can aid in forming the metals into constructable goods as well. And yes, we should do something for Clarice."

Erik Lensherr has posed:
Erik Lensherr glances over at one of the screen, then smiles a little, "Well, let me show you around. I see that Blink is actually here at the moment" he gestures at the camera feed, which shows Blink, Mystique and several other people sitting at what appears to be a bar. "shall we join them?"

He reaches an arm out towards the central chair and his helmet drifts over to his hand, and he puts it on, then gestures at the wall, which opens up. Another gesture floats a thick door into the opening, which the wall seals around. "Can't keep it quite as sealed when I'm not here, of course. Shall we?"

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna Dane looks over to the screen herself with a small chuckle. Of course there were cameras here. She simply hadn't paid attention to what was on them at the moment. "That sounds lovely," she agrees. "I'm sure it will be a nice surprise for her as well." While she waits for the helmet to come over she has to nod slightly. "I had wondered why you were without it. It makes sense that the room is sealed." Really she should have realized that before.
