Location: 6B - Elektra's Condo
Synopsis: Elektra and Selene decide to go grand theft auto on a tourist carriage at Central Park.
Cast of Characters: Elektra Natchios, Selene Corvinus

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Dancing night at the club had been memorable in all kinds of ways. A way of them being together in a more 'normal' setting, without all the blood, the weapons and the shadows. And it had mostly been a success. Yet with Elektra being Elektra there was just something she couldn't take her mind of. Because they had talked about a great number of things. Possibilities.

And one of them had been heisting out a carriage in Central Park. Well, the original idea was a carriage ride but why keep it so -mundane-? So the idea was formed. And it's not as if she left Selene in the dark, instead suggesting. "So .., how about we go out one of these nights, go ahead with stealing that carriage and then see where the night takes us?" a dangerous glint on her eyes as she asked that. Oh yes, she had plans.

And of course those plans would lead to one way or another for Elektra to say this was night. It was time to go!

Selene Corvinus has posed:
Which one of these two is more crazy than the other? That's a fairly difficult question to answer! One of them has been alive for 6 centuries, done and been involved in just about everything you could dare suggest. The other? Well, she's quite a bit younger-- to say the very least --and seems to have a lot of pent-up desire to let off steam.

So they're both pretty wild, clearly!

The suggestion is given to Selene who considers it a joke at first, even laughing it off. But she's soon to see that look in Ele's eyes that tells her it is no joke at all.

"You're serious?" Selene replied, her voice sounding notably British in that moment, as her accent is often muddled between many European regions.

It would only take a bit more coaxing, however, to get to the Vampire to indulge in the madness and go along with Elektra to find a carriage. Of course, the Vampire has to speak up about not wishing to harm anyone to accomplish this... apparently sticking to her 'vampire morality code' so very well!

Dressed in black, Selene is with Elektra, a very unusual incarnation of Thelma and Louise perhaps brewing up here tonight...

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Crazy and wild? Yes, those do sound like good adjectives for Ms. Natchios. In fact, now that they have been together for a time, Selene may even be learning more about the woman's impetuous nature, barely anything left undone or unsaid when she puts her mind to it. A death wish too? Perhaps. Almost as if Elektra lived each day as if being the last. Not that she didn't have her own agenda and plans.. Those existed. But where it came to it she was as much trouble as trouble gets.

And would tonight be trouble? Well, she hoped so.

"I am rather serious, dear. What can I say? I am of a set mind.." and indeed coaxing had followed, assurance no one would get hurt during the night unless it was fully and strictly necessary (which for Elektra it can be a rather broad thing). But she also isn't the type to bend a promise.

As the night for the deed comes she is dressed in black as well, just with a little red to go. Destination? Central Park.

And of course that she *did* find the usual routes for those, where they gather... And where they may find those a bit more secluded. Quieter and darker places. She may have also helped by breaking a lamplight here and there to make it easier to steal and approach. They start walking down a path of Elektra's choice, gesturing. "So, feel like distracting the coach rider while I take care of business?" there's a lone carriage ahead, stopped under those tenuous lights with a man apparently having just finished a ride with a couple, now turning on a cigarette for a rest.

Elektra starts slinking off.

Selene Corvinus has posed:
Selene is wearing a pair of form fitting black leather pants and a black cotton tanktop under her black leather light jacket, no trench coat tonight. Her feet are encased in a pair of knee high black boots that have low heels, good for motorcycles...

She walks alongside Ele as they scout the park for their 'mark'. When the carriage is found the Vampire just grins ever so slightly when the lamplight is knocked out,t hen nods to the other woman as she vanishes.

"Fair enough..." She sighs. "I'm getting used to this with you." She quips in to the shadows that Ele had gone.

Selene's jacket is removed, folded over her right arm and she walks toward the carriage out of the dark... right toward the driver. He notices her of course, she kind of stands out, even in the black attire. Her arms are bare though, and her eyes are right upon him. She cuts quite a imposing silhouette in the night like this. Why if she were really out for blood... he might even be an ideal target like he is now.

"Hello." Selene says to him, her voice soft and friendly. "Could you be so kind as to help me?" She inquires. "I'm not from ... well, this country. I'm rather lost." She says, stopping a few feet from the man, her weight put on to her right boot. "I don't suppose you could help me find my way out of this park?" She asks him then, offering a flirtatious smile to go with the question.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
No response from those shadows! But indeed it wasn't the first time that Selene had been made Elektra's 'pretty face' to seduce unaware victims. Hopefully this time it would be for a less murderous task though. But infinitely more fun. Or well, depends on how one likes their fun ...

As for the man he pauses midway of lighting his cigarette, taking in Selene's silhouette, then following the woman's body up to her face. A face that is somewhat in the dark so he can't really make much of it but ..., the rest does seem enough! He instantly smiles, fudging a bit with the lighter and cigarette to put it away.. "Of course, Miss! If you are lost I could help you, this is a big park, but I know it like the back of my hand!" at least his routes in the carriage! He starts to walk closer to Selene, distracted, "I could take you anywhere in my--"

The sound of horses whinning, along with 'Hiyah!' are heard, the dark figure of Elektra visible atop it as she gets the carriage moving. Carriage-jacked!

As the carriage starts riding past Selene and the man Elektra extends one hand to Selene. "Hop on!"

Selene Corvinus has posed:
She's just smiling at him as he comes closer, and is about to reply to him when the jig is up and the man's 'ride' is taken by her companion in this insidious affair!

Of course the man is stumbling toward them, but Selene is taking the offered hand and nimbly leaping up in to the carriage as it goes by!

She turns to look at the man chasing after them and shouting before she turns the other way to lean over and bump shoulders with the woman. A big smile on her pale pink lips.

"We're terrible!" She says to the other woman. Her gaze dances forward to the horses drawing this carriage. "Now then, we look for people to pick up and carriage them about the park?" She teases over the sounds of the horse feet, and the wheels rolling on the pathway beneath them.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
"Absolutely nefarious." Elektra says in agreement when Selene hops up and joins her up there. She grins at the shoulder bump, giving her one in return as they start riding through the park. She'd make sure to let the carriage somewhere recoverable. And leave a good sum for the man's troubles. But shhhh, don't tell anyone! She's got a rep to maintain or something.

She takes a turn to pathway, slowing down a touch as the man's shouts become too far to be heard, letting the horses go at a slow pace so as to enjoy the place more thoroughly. "This is a lot more fun than just going on a normal ride." she says. "So from now on I shall endeavor in stealing all rides we go in. Motorized or not.." the tone though? It's a joking one... mostly. Perhaps. One never knows fully with Elektra.

But it's a joyful feeling, that little rush of excitement then simply enjoying a ride. As for taking others though?

"Why should we? I already got who I want up here with me." she leaning to touch her forehead to the woman's, "Unless you feel like picking up some unaware tourists." she appearing to leave the choice to Selene in this!

Selene Corvinus has posed:
Selene does return the affectionate head touch to Elektra before she puts her right arm around the other woman's back i nthe sofa seat of the carriage's driver position. She just grins at the other's words and general demeanor, enjoying seeing her like this, happy and almost even 'jovial'? Oh my.

"You know..." Selene says, giving another brief glance over her shoulder before looking back to Ele. "If you'd given me another few minutes with him, I'm rather certain I could've just talked him out of the carriage for a spell." She says with a grin. "If I've come to learn people, I've come to know a man who'd be easily suggestible or not." Her eyes go forward then and she crosses her legs at the knees. "Though I guess thiw as more adrenaline infused, as far as approaches go."

Her other hand rests atop her leather clad thigh and she does give a glance back to the passenger area before looking once more over to Elektra. "I'm not sure that even a gullable tourist would believe that the two of us ar ethe rightful navigators of this would-be romantic caravan." She says with a big grin showing on her lips.

Soemthing draws Selene's eyes off to the left though and she looks out in to the yard. "I believe he's running across the field to try and cut us off." She says, able to see very well in the dark...

Elektra Natchios has posed:
"Oh?" That makes one of those finely-trimmed brows arch up, "Using a bit of your silvertongue on him, would you?" she *is* amused for a bit before commenting, "But oh, I know how well that tongue works, you'd have him eating off your plate in no time.." of course that the suggestive tone shows the innuendo. Because a good coach ride can only be good with some proper teasing! "But in the end .., yes, it'd just be loaning the carriage without paying." she turns her nose at that.

"I am sure someone, somewhere, would think this is the right attire to go out at night to ride carriages?" She suggests, a glance down at Selene's attire and posture before the side of her mouth quirks up in a smirk.

Cutting through to get to them? "Oh, come on ..." a sigh as she gets the horses moving faster. "He'd better not upset us too much or else I won't leave a tip."

The proximity with Selene is felt though, and how easy Elektra falls to comfort with this woman, relaxing against her even as her heart is a touch paced at the excitement of the ride.

Selene Corvinus has posed:
Selene reacts to the inuendo with just a grin that evolves in to a soft laugh with a shake of her head to go with it. "Lovely one." She tells the other before her eyes go back out to the yard to their left. "Yes, well, I'm guessing tips are the furthest things from his mind right now."

The carriage rolls over a nice bridge, inclining up gently, and back down on the other side again. "The horses are turning before you even have to direct them." Selene notes. "They've done this route a few times, so it seems." The Vampire comments.

She sweeps her hair out of her face as they pass by a fork in the road and the carriage driver bursts out from between some bushes to shout obscenities at the both of them again. Selene offers a wave to him as they were already past where he was.

Of course, he's quick to throw his hat ont he ground nwo as his carriage is rolling away from him again.

With another laugh, Selene turns back to Elektra then. "There's a outdoor theater up ahead, we could ride across the lawn in front of the screen?" She suggests, a terrible grin showing on her lips again.

Off in the distance over the city though, the flash of lightning can be seen and the distant rumble of thunder, seems the women only have so much time before nature trains to rain on their parade.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
"This only makes me respect this guy even less..." As Elektra sees those horses moving as if by rote, turning at the fork. She clicks her tongue. "... he barely even works, the horses just do everything.." sad truth.

The man bursting out to shout at them has Elektra fingerwiggle along with Selene, "I am not leaving you any tip if you continue like that...!" she shouts back at the man before laughing softly. Indeed it seems as if she's younger. Or perhaps she just feels like it. But maybe she is simply letting her hair down a little. Even cold-hearted assassins deserve some of that. Maybe..

Her hair flies freely now, midnight-black and long, fluttering behind her as they ride, that wind already starting to pick up with the oncoming storm, "It seems my plan had a flaw, I did not check the weather report.." there is always something!

Yet as Selene mentions the outdoor theater and them riding across the screen? She is certainly on it.

And is a play currently on? Heck yes!

Selene Corvinus has posed:
As it so happens the theater in the park is putting on a version of Ben Hurr and when the two carriage riders breeze on through, the chariot race is taking place in the play. Everyone in the audience sits up as the actual horse drawn carriage rolls through, and the people on stage pause what they're doing to watch the two women in black roll on through, the black horses pulling the dark hued carriage through the theater and across the grassy yard.

Selene offers a wave to the audience as they sweep past them, most of them having no idea what to do other than record the event on their phones... those who had their devices out of course.

Once they move thorugh, Selene sits back down and looks to Selene with a large grin. "Better than virtual reality, I would say." She offers to the other woman before leaning over against her again, the sounds of more rumbling thunder heard up in the dark sky above!

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Ben-Hur. Well, at least they don't do like the Roman Centurion who ends up being trampled by the rest of the carriages. Only in movies do nefarious villains like the two of them end up in such dire straits! She can't help but laugh at the irony of it actually being a play with carriages.

"May God grant me vengeance! Pray that I never return!" this Elektra quotes while they ride past.

Yes, she saw it. Or maybe she saw a play. But a tale of vengeance? Damn right she would had been curious.

Hopefully they won't be appearing on any news tonight. But they were riding fast, and they know how to hide their faces! One hopes ... "We clearly made their night." she agrees, this time Elektra being the one wrapping one arm about the vampire. Dark gaze does glance up at the sky though. "Not much time left. Unless we don't care about the rain." which is a possibility.

"Shall we dump this carriage soon and find more mischief to get into?" She suggests.

Selene Corvinus has posed:
Selene runs her hand through her dark hair as they ride back on to an adjoining path and once more are on solid pavement. She has a big smile on her lips that is shared around as she sweeps her eyes over the landscape of the park at night. It really is a beautiful public space, reminding her of parts of her home city for a brief moment.

At Elektra's words, Selene looks over to her. "Perhaps so. I imagine the police have dispatched a whole posse of horses to find us, or whatever the Americans do for run away carriages." She states, following tha tup with another grin.

"I think I have an idea or two for what we might do next though. Something to get out of the rain, I'd say..." Her eyes glance skyward then. "Though that might be impossible at this point." The storm is near!

Selene looks down to a part of the Central Park zoo, a place where customers leave the park. "There." She suggests. "There's a gate guard there. We can leave the carriage with him." She states, looking to Elektra. "We can tell him we found it all alone and thusly we're the good citizens in this that we know is true in our hearts." Now she's being a bit overly playful in her own way with all of this.
