A Visit To Asteroid M

Raven Darkholme has posed:
Lydia received a call on the phone Mystique had given her. A simple request for a meeting is made, a location to meet for teleporting to the Asteroid was given. When Lydia arrived, Mystique was there with a young man who looked bored out of his mind and was making things in the street just disappear, where they were going wasn't obvious, and clearly Mystique wasn't asking.

Lydia Dietrich has posed:
Lydia was surprised at first when the satellite phone rang. She didn't expect to hear from Mystique and her crew so soon. She agreed to be teleported to Asteroid M, despite slight misgivings about being teleported into outer space.

Once she got here, however, her eyes go wide as saucers as she looks outside and sees the earth. "Woah," she breathes. She takes a moment to take it all in before turning to Mystique. "I have so many questions," she says, more to herself than anybody else. She shakes her head to clear it and says, louder, "Thank you for bringing me up here. It's really quite breathtaking."

Raven Darkholme has posed:
The young man wanders off once he's done his job, heading toward a hall leading off the central hub they were standing in. Signs are lit up to indicate places. Cafeteria, Bar, Med-bay, private rooms, the works, you name it the Asteroid has a version of it.

Mystique sees it every day, but she gives Lydia a chance to look around, waving off the guards who look like they will approach. "Not many get a chance to see that view, I'm glad you like it. If you wait, you can see the moon off in the distance too. I trust you don't intend to spy on us?" She offers a smile as she says that, clearly trying to joke.

Lydia Dietrich has posed:
Lyida is silent for a moment while she takes in the sight. Finally she turns to Mystique and shrugs. "Who on earth would I be spying for? I'm a novelist and an English Teacher. Most you'll get out of me is critiques on grammar." Finally, she turns and nods. "Okay. Let's go and see what we can do."

Raven Darkholme has posed:
Mystique nods, then turns to walk toward the med-bay. Even in space the cobalt mutant is barefoot, though for once she is wearing clothing on the Asteroid, most likely due to having a guest. It is her white body suit and nothing else. "Our medical facility is state of the art, we have both medical doctors who are mutants of course, and Mutant healers who work there. We have our own set of researchers who have been working to discover a way to contain and hold ectoplasm, but no ectoplasm to test it on."

She wasn't joking about the med-bay, it really is just like a hospital in and of itself.

Lydia Dietrich has posed:
Lydia stares in awe of the facility and can't help but asking, "How did you build all of this? I just can't fathom what it would have taken in order to get the dome set up much less all the construction that had to go on." She shakes her head in wonder.

Once they reach the facility to where they've been doing experiments with containing ectoplasm she turns to her guide. "What would you like me to do?"
