Synopsis: The first day of school is in the books. And no one got hurt! Or well, maybe Declan got hurt...
Cast of Characters: Morrigan MacIntyre, Lara Croft, Madison Evans, Billy Batson, Irie West, Bando George, Vivian Vision

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
School has officially started back up at Happy Harbor High School! Today was picking up schedules and getting room assignments for those that would be permanent residents for the year as opposed to those who went back and forth to home for school. And there's been a lot that has changed over the summer. Tyler's back, but not on school grounds as of yet. New kids were coming in and Doctor MacIntyre had a white streak in her hair now. Someone could have died, but no one had as of yet.

The afternoon is for socializing and catching up. And someone mentioned there would be a ton of pizza and soda, which the good Doctor has provided as promised.

Morrigan's standing off to the side and watching Declan and Delia compare schedules while others mill around. She was sure everyone would catch up in their own times.

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara had signed up to become a teacher here just this summer. She works thorugh SHIELD, and the two are somewhat in alignment allowing Lara to do her SHIELD work and this teaching gig in coordination with one another! Lara always thought she might teach some day, so the iron was hot, the time to strike may as well be now even if she's still quite early in to her career as a archaeologist. She'd also told the faculty here that she might be requesting long absences due to that very nature! Sub-stitutes may have a lot of work throughout the school year for Miss Croft's class!

In the here and now though, Lara is present, wearing a button up black shirt over a white tanktop with the dark green hiking pants on over a pair of new leather boots. She has her sleeves rolled up to her elbows and is introducing herself to people around the room, having found her classroom and done a bit of decorating it already this afternoon, she's here to mingle and get to know others, especially her signed up students for her 'Weird History' class that she is teaching this year!

Madison Evans has posed:
Madison studies her schedule, dressed in a T-Shirt that features brightly colored banthas with two suns in the sky above them - each Bantha adorned with a 'cutie mark' on their rear. 'My Little Bantha' is imposed over the image of a rainbow shooting across her shift. "But none of my classes are with Dr. Pym," Madison is just complaining as she it seems someone hasn't heard the news quiet yet. "Are any of yours?" she asks - leaning over to study the paper in Irie's hand.
"Oh! We're in the same English class I think- Yeah! Second period! That's good, at least!" she says in a cheerful voice, grinning broadly at Irie.
"Is it weird I'm glad school's starting? I really want to get to know the rest of the students." She bounces up eagerly onto her toes, a broad smile appearing on her features. New school, new teachers, new friends - and new weird classs which may or may not involve giant ants! She is so into it. "I wonder what 'Weird History' is, though..."

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson finally has family, but the new foster folks' home is crowded. Darla needs her own room. The boys all want more space and so he's decided to try the dorms, especially since it was so close to family. He just isn't sure how easy it will be to sneak out of a dorm and say the word unseen or unheard. Also he needs directions /too/ the dorms. Maybe he can turn into Shazam later and process all this better. He seems to think faster and clearer. Billy shoulders his bag, he likes to travel light. reading yet another schedule and tries not to walk into someone. Also Weird History sounds like his jam. He has six weird historical figures talking to him half the time.

Irie West has posed:
Irie got here a little late, which is ironic considering that she's a speedster. Still, she was here in time to pick up her schedule, book list, and supply list. She looks through it, puzzling at how six classes could have eight books.... and one of them was PE!

She spies Madison from across the plaza and made her way over there to compare schedules. She nods eagerly when they find out they have English together. "Yus!" she declares with a fistbump. "I've got Weird History too, but it's third period."

She looks up and finds that Billy is here, too. "Hey, Billy!" she calls out, waving enthusiastically. "Over here! We're comparing schedules!"

Bando George has posed:
This was it! Bando had told his parents about Happy Harbor. Unlike some mutant kids, he has a happy family that loves him and supports him. He also seems to have no hesitancy in letting people know that he's a mutant. The trick is not letting him practice powers on things. His drama is fairly low in that department. Don't worry though, his severe ADHD makes up for it, so there's plent of headaches that he can still provide the staff. He arrived on his first day of school looking as if he got in a scrape with a pack of razor blades, several small scratches on his arms and face. Nothing serious, but most definitely noticeable.

But he definitely signed up for 'Weird History'. That sounds like it isn't boring, which is always a plus.

He moves straight to the pizza, grabbing a plate and 1, 2, 3... He looks around. Is there a limit to how may pieces he can get? 4. Maybe he'll start with four. He doesn't immediately gravitate to any groups personally, instead standing in that awkward...between group space, glancing at teachers, at students. After moment of contemplation, he picks one of his slices up off his plate, and takes a moderately large bite, and chews, contemplating on which way to turn.

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian is, as always for school events, dressed in her school issue uniform. Even if the schools colours don't exactly go with her synthezoid hair and skin colour. Still clashing outfits aren't exactly unusual for her either!

Nor does she really have a great deal of need to find out her scheduling via a piece of paper. All that sort of information ends up on the school computer system sooner or later. But hey it's all part of the educational experience right?

"I would assume weird history includes matters related to magic and aliens. For example how Thor features in aspects of Norse mythology." She notes helpfully, giving the schedule the briefest glance and inputting the details of everyone she knows into one handy document.

Madison Evans has posed:
"Maybe!" Madison answers Vivian - before adding immediately, "Hey, did you know that Irie's really good at painting minis? She made me a wookiee-sloth!" She gives the girl beside her an encouraging nudge, along with a broad, beaming grin. "My Weird History is fourth period - I wonder if I can switch it, somehow?" she muses thoughtfully. "I mean, I don't want to be a bother but- it'd be cool to be in another class together."
Her gaze follows Irie's to Billy before asks in a stage whisper, "Who's Billy? He's your friend? You think he'll be my friend too?"

Lara Croft has posed:
It's a question that Lara has gotten a lot of today. 'What is Weird History?' and to her benefit she'd prepared for it.

She's actually explaining it to a student and their parent in the very moment some other students ask about it, that she can over hear. Her eyes glance to the other students who get a smile before she looks back to the parent, a father, waiting for her answer.

"Well its a closer look at famous people in history, from Thor--" Good call there! "To Spartacus to famous pirates. We try to delve in to the truths behind the legends, and then branch out from there to discuss the oddities of what it was like to live back then. Such as what kind of foods did the Aztecs eat prior to colonization reaching their shores. I even have a lesson planned on that time that a Doctor tried to resurrect George Washington from the dead." She smiles softly. "We live in a vast world, and its a lot more Weird than you realize... once you begin to truly dig in to its history."

Prepared! Or so the British explorer and SHIELD Agent and now Teacher too... hoped!

"Here, I have some flyers prepared for it with a bit of the lesson plans laid out... at least in titles alone. It should help." Lara picks some of them up off of the stack beside her and offers them to the father who eagerly takes two.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan finishes speaking with Declan and Delia after there's a dispute over their schedules. The ginger twins are not too hot with having a class together, but they would have to deal with it. There's a few of the teens that comment on the white in her hair, but she waves it off with a smile, not explaining it. She then moves towards where some of the students have congregated to.

Which means it's the pizza table.

"Everyone doing alright over here?" the violet eyed woman asks them. A few of them nod to her, shoving more pizza in their face to avoid more words.

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson smiles. "Standing right here... I dunno, Dungeons and Dragons fan... my older sister is a DM. I moved into a dorm to get away from it. Just kidding. Mary is the greatest. D&D is okay. Till you get blackmailed to prime figures. I actually did learn a couple tricks to painting the things. Uhm excuse me a second."

He turns to Lara and asks, "Dr. Croft, do you get into Greco-Roman figures at all? There are a lot of pantheons I know, but I have an interest in that one."

Vivian Vision has posed:
"I did not know that Irie was interested in painting," Viv replies earnestly. "I was going to take up painting for a while, but my Great Grandfather bought me a musical instrument instead. So I have been spending my time learning to play that instead."

She turns and gives Ms. Croft a smile. "Would you be interested in seeing the vacation footage I took during my visit to Themyscira with the Titans? I have some very detailed footage of a traditional Amazon manticore hunt. Turns out they are not in fact mythical beings at all." She pauses and shrugs. "And while I do not normally approve of hunting animals it turns out that manticores hunger for the flesh of humans and hunt them back..."

Irie West has posed:
"Hey Viv!" Irie calls out to her friend. "Have you met Madison yet? Madison, this is Vivian. Vivian, Madison. Yeah! I didn't know that I would like painting miniatures until Madison showed me how to do it. Then you get to play with them and that's super neat!" Somehow she hasn't made it to the table containing pizza yet. It's pretty amazing that talking with Madison has distracted her enough for that. Shows you what kind of friendship they have.

She nods to Madison. "Maybe I can switch, too. Fourth period I've got PE. I wonder if I can test out of it. I'd be the fastest one there."

She nods to Madison. "Billy's cool. He helped me learn how to swim!"

Bando George has posed:
Bando continues to chew his food. His parents are both at work, that happens when you're the oldest of five kids. And when you have one that eats like Bando. He hears the talk about Weird History, and casually wanders closer to Vivian and Ms. Croft, shoving more pizza in his mouth. He stands in that awkward position of 'not quite in the circle,' but close enough that it's not a mystery of whether he's listening or not.

Madison Evans has posed:
"We've met. Vivian doesn't think I should have a Lightsaber," Madison remarks, before letting out a melodramatic sigh.
Vivian's caution has yet to dim Madison's enthusiasm on the subject.
"Ooo - swimming is great! Thanks for teaching her Billy! Oh, and he likes D&D and painting minis! Do you want to come paint with me and Irie sometimes? I can move all my paints to the dining table - as long as we cover it with a plastic cloth first - and we can all paint together and talk, and like... watch movies and stuff. Everyone's invited! We could make it the unofficial mini painting club of Happy Harbor High School! I'm sure my mom won't mind."
She beams at Vivian as she adds, "Do you want to come, too?"

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara's eyes dance over to Billy once the parent and student wander off. At his question she shows a quick smile. "Oh yes, of course." She states to him. "We'll deal with a wide variety of the most famous people from that era, let alone the culture itself. My hope is that we get to share a bit of a look at what just... being alive back then was like. I think its wise to look back on such vastly different eras and try to put yourself in to them, as much as we're able at least."

Vivian's words has Lara looking to her next and also smiling to her. "That would be related, I'd say. So I would absolutely love to see that, in fact... maybe we could have you make a presentation for our class. The culture of the Themyscirans themselves most certainly qualifies for the subject matter, I'd say...." She laughs softly there-after saying that.

For Bando, Lara sees the young man approach with his pizza which has her grinning. "I'm going to have to grab me some of that, I think." She says to it before offering him a flier for the Weird History class. "If you'd like to do a bit of pre-reading about what you're in for." She states with a grin. "Believe I saw you sign up earlier. We'll have some fun with this, I promise."

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson looks a little embarrassed at that and gets up. "Well uh she nearly drowned at the beach."

A party. With girls. He spares Angelica a thought, wondering where she went, if she was all right. If her arm healed up well. He shakes it off. Girls want to hang out now. "Uhm, that'd be nice. i'm not a huge fan of D&D but I can play. Straight up fighter, no spells to memorize."

He walks past Bando and says, "Finally someone else who knows how to eat pizza. Enjoy."

He gives Dr. MacIntyre a polite hello and finally gets to the pizza table. After a quick look around he just grabs a box marked 'plain' and hustles it back. Easier to apologize after than ask permission.

Irie West has posed:
Irie's eyes light up at the prospect of a painting party. "Ooh! That would be so cool! I've never played D&D before. I've heard good things about sixth edition!" Then her tummy makes an audible growl. She scowls, "I better go get something to eat." Anybody familiar with the speedster knows that the food table will be half empty by the time she gets done with it. "I'll be right back!"

With that she goes over to take a stack of pizza slices (one of each type) and starts to wolf them down.

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision shrugs. "I don't think anyone should have an energy sword," she points out. "They're extremely dangerous. It's nothing personal in regard to you specifically Madison." She twirls some of her hair around her fingers. "I could try come once to see what it's like. But I'm unsure if I am interested in miniature painting as a long term activity. My original plans for learning about art were mainly focused around classical portrait painting."

She gives Ms. Croft a smile. "If you want. I'm able to write such a report within a few moments." She probably wrote one in the time it took her to say the words 'write a report'. "I will have to omit some details for the security of the Amazons. But they were happy for me to scan many ancient buildings and artifacts."

Madison Evans has posed:
"Fifth!" Madison stage whispers after Irie, her eyes going wide for a moment before she shakes her head. What would 6th edition be like? ...good, apparently. But how would they improve on //fifth//? Huh.
"Nearly drowned? Did you save her? Gosh," she breathes quietly, watching Billy with wide eyes, before Vivian draws her attention.
"Well. I think mini painting is great. It requires a lot of focus, you know? Working on such small surfaces. But at the same time - I don't know. I mean, you get to be creative. Every mini's different. But you also have a guide. Because you're not just painting on a flat empty canvas so- well. I like it a lot. But I guess it's probably not for everyone." She decides to leave the topic of laser swords along for the moment. She'll get her training, and then see where things go. Yeah.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"It's good to see you again, Billy." the Doctor comments to the teen who is approaching the table laden with pizzas. Morrigan gives a smile to everyone as her phone chimes, "Excuse me everyone." she tells them as she steps away. She tries to find a quiet place to take a phone call. She does give a grin at the D&D topic though, "Maybe we should take a trip to a game store or do a mini painting night." she calls before she takes her phone call.

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara offers a smile too Morrigan when she sees the Director is nearby. But her eyes go back to Vivian speaking to her about the lesson on the mythical lost island of paradise. She grins at what the young student says. "I can only imagine." Lara responds in a soft tone. "I've heard a lot since they became a public presence in the larger world, but yet still so much remains a mystery. You're very lucky to have gotten to go there first hand, but... I can see you're quite special." She shows another larger smile then before she looks about the room at the bustling traffic of students milling about.

Lara steps over ot the table with the food and drinks she gathers up a cup and gets some tea in to it. She glances up to the talk of energy swords to grin at the students. "Yes, if any of you have any energy weapons, I urge you to leave them at home please." She's joking, of course! Partially? Do any of them have energy weapons? Surely not...

Bando George has posed:
Bando reaches out with his plate, taking the flier beneath it pinned by his finger. "Um, okay," he says, reading around the obstacle. "But I don't think lightsabers would really work," he comments idly, seeming a little behind on the conversation. "I mean, they would just pass through each other. They couldn't really fight like in the movies." Is he distracted? Maybe. "So in this Weird History, are we gonna focus on a certain part of the world, or all of it? Or what?"

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson returns with pizza! This is not a mean feat especially with Irie down with the munchies as well as the other teens. "I thought it was best to get plain. No one ever objects to plain. Now, if I had remembered to grab dishes, napkins and drinks. Hang on. Oh it comes down to it, I'm pretty quick at prepping those minis if nothing else." Actually Shazam is pretty great at it. Speed of Mercury? And Achilles' spirit was great with technical points.

Full disclosure Shazan got grounded and his electronics taken away and was bored. Not that he really painted at the speed of light. Going too fast just spattered paint everywhere or dried the paint on the brush. A mink brush no less. He caught it from big sister for that.

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision nods at Bando. "We covered many of these problems in a previous conversation," she notes solemnly. "With enough advanced technology it could be done but... at the point you have the equipment used to make the sabers it would be far more dangerous than the sabers themselves."

Then she turns back to Lara. "I am a perfectly normal Synthezoid. Although I suppose I appreciate the compliment?"

And then back to Madison. "I am able to split my focus between literally hundreds of tasks at the same time without any trouble. So painting a small object wouldn't be that much trouble." Her head tilts. "I could also simply holographically project an entire map, miniatures and special effects. The Titans have talked about running a D&D game before." She frowns, then adds "I think it was Mary Marvel who first suggested it."

Madison Evans has posed:
Madison frowns at Vivian and Bando for a moment - but doesn't offer any comment on their conversation about the logistics of lightsaber science - because it all goes over her head, and she can't offer any intelligible commentary. But Spidey thinks his guy can make it work, and shouldn't that count for something?
"I mean, being able to project it all is pretty cool - but it's nice having the hand-painted pieces... Could you project a holographic map under physical minis?" she asks curiously. "If you haven't played it yet - you really should. It's a lot of fun! I mean, it doesn't have to be D&D. It could be Paranoia! Or Dread! Or West End Games Star Wars d6! Or Magical Kitties Save the Day! There's like... soooooo many systems out there. So many."
She beams at Billy as he returns with pizza before adding a cheery, "Hey, thanks!" And claiming a slice for herself.

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson returns with some dishes, napkins, cups, and a bottle of iced tea, He raises his eyebrow at the Mary Marvel reference. Of course Mary did. He sets his cargo down and pulls a chair out for Dr. MacIntyre. "Do you want to join us, ma'am? You've been standing forever. May I get you anything?" He notes the new frosting in her hair but says nothing.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a smile to those that are talking and she gives a look to Billy as she gets off the phone, "I'm alright standing for the moment, Billy. Thank you for being sweet though." she tells the young man. "Does anyone have any questions for me about the upcoming school year or anything like that?" she asks the gathered since they were all here for the moment.

Vivian Vision has posed:
"I can hide a medium sized commercial aircraft from Human senses," Vivian explains, demonstrating by projecting an image of her human identity over her synthezoid one. "They have no physical mass. So I could not create a multi-tier structure without something physical being there to place objects on."

She turns to Morrigan. "I do not think I have any questions about the school year. Unless anything unusual is scheduled?"

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson considers a moment. "Could I request a dorm room with windows that open? Or do they all have AC? I like a lot of fresh air when I sleep. " He takes the tea and offers it around, then just starts pouting out some glasses, offering them to Vivian and Madison and anyone else. It was a big jug of tea.. He finally takes a glass for himself. .

Madison Evans has posed:
Madison happily takes a glass of tea - flashing Billy a broad smile of thanks. After taking a sip, she looks towards the Headmistress, asking brightly, "Ms. MacIntyre, ma'am, umm - who do we talk to if we want to try to switch our schedule? Me and Irie want to see if we can get into the same period of Weird History!" she explains in a cheerful tone. "I mean. It's good to have friends in your classes. Right? So we can work on projects together and stuff!"
She then turns towards Vivian - watching her change before asking brightly, "Can you make me look different, too? Can I have red hair?"

Bando George has posed:
"Oh," Bando says simply to Vivian, and bounces back and forth betweent he conversation topics. He looks like he's having trouble. Powers, yeah, powers!

He pipes up with a sudden explosion, "Oh, I have a question!" He shouts out, suddenly much louder than he was in general conversation. "Is there any way we can have classes that teach about powers?" he asks, a certain undefeatable hope in his eyes. "I mean, I know not everybody has powers and stuff, but if we have them, it could be good, right?" He asks the school director.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan's violet gaze gives a look to Madison and there's a smile, "We can just have someone in the office change it for one of you. That's no big deal." she tells her. "Or I can change it around as well." she nods to this. "It is good to have friends to share things with, yes." she agrees with that.

Then Bando's question catches her off guard, "Are we speaking of the myriad of powers that might be shown by an individual or how to use them, Mister George?" she asks him curiously.

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson thinks a class on powers would be... "Amazing," he says to Vivian as she changes.

The closest he came to classes was 'Uncle' Achilles giving him a few lessons in tactics. Then again he was sure equipment that would provide a meaningful challenge to Shazam would ruin the school financially. But he looks at Bando and asks quite so what can you do... Bando is it? Billy here, or should we guess? I do a podcast on supers you know? If anyone here is interested. I interviewed Spidey. Maybe I can make someone famous."

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision shakes her head to decline the drink Billy is offering her. "I don't really need to consume food or drink," she notes. "I'm solar powered. But thank you for the offer."

Her attention shifts back to Madison. "With teacher permission I could project a holograph over anyone within range. Which is not unlimited. But I'm not supposed to use my powers on other students without an emergency situation or prior teacher approval."

And finally she blinks a few times at Bando. The effect actually looks a lot more natural with the holograph projected over herself. "But who would teach you? It would require someone with a matching ability for each student and class sizes would be at best one or two per teacher."

Bando George has posed:
"Um," Bando glances around awkwardly. "The use of them?" Bando clarifies. "I hear that there's a lot of students here that have them," he says. "I mean, maybe not be able to teach everything cuz they are all different, but maybe there's like, some similar ideas on how to..." he trails off in his question for a few moments, glancing at Vivian's natural flaw in his idea, and the financial challenge that Billy brings up, and it almost looks like he may have decided not to continue.

"We could learn about responsible use of them!" He suddenly adds with a bit of a blurting out, suddenly coming back to his focus, lasering his attention back on Dr. MacIntyre. "And how to be constructive members of society." It's as if he's coming up with these ideas as he goes along. "Oh, and some people could use them for jobs... and maybe there could be like a career learning...thing? We could learn how to use our powers to benefit the uh, workplace?" Is that a question or a statement? It seems ambiguous by his tone. He shifts a little in his weight, and then suddenly picks one of his pieces of pizza up, and shoves it in his mouth to indicate that he's done talking.

Madison Evans has posed:
"We'll talk to the office, ma'am. Thank you!" Madison chimes in a bright tone, before turning her attention to Vivian.
"You need teacher permission - even to just.... you know, project a hologram? But there's no harm in that. It could even be useful! Like, in a fashion design class - you could project people's designs for them lifesize onto their forms- umm. Is that trivializing your abilities?" she asks in a wry tone. "But it would be really cool!"
And then towards Bando she adds, "Yeah, like- the Ethics of Super Powers in a Modern, Integrated Society! It sounds like a college course, practically. Could someone teach that?"

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson thinks, (yeah similar powers,,, Or like a license. Freddy was awful at it. He set me on fire to see if I was fire proof. I mean I was but crap!) He could ask the Titans, except he was 20 something as Shazam. So no go there. Without realizing it he gets a thoughtful look on his face. Bando doesn't answer him so he lets it go. Would the adult supers really want him around? Achilles seemed too, but most Bronze Age soldiers weren't much older than Billy.Fire didn't mind either. They were great, but he liked hanging with people his age, The younger heroes definitely didn't want some old dude hanging around. He gradually becomes aware of the conversation again.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a bit of a sad smile to Bando, "Sadly we do not teach power usage here. There's a lot of red tape and if anyone were to get hurt then it would be a lot of pointing fingers. What we can probably finagle with the boards is a class that teaches when, where and why to invoke powers and the ethics involved." she points out. "Our main goal at Happy Harbor is to give students that are powered and even non-powered the same atmosphere of inclusion. To give some normalcy where others with powers might not have had any in the past." she states. "Power usage on school grounds is fine, as long as it's not disruptful." she adds.

"I just don't want to okay something like teaching and then it get shot down and we all get in trouble, so we'll hold off on that until I can speak with others." she states to them. "We would have to find a teacher for that. I guess I could stand in it if happened, but I'm not 'powered'." she admits to that. Then there's a look to Madison and Vivian, "You are alright to do things, Vivian. I know you won't do anything you shouldn't." she offers with a smile to them.

Vivian Vision has posed:
"On school grounds? Yes that was my understanding," Vivian says solemnly to Madison. "The rules aren't written on a per student basis. Also I could hypothetically project a hologram, influence what you can see, and cause you to walk into the road. Even things which do not seem dangerous can be lethal if used irresponsibly."

And then Morrigan gives her permission to use them. "Oh in that case." And that's how for a short time Madison will have holographically red hair. She creates a palm sized holograph of Madison and holds it up so she can see. "I can also adjust the style and length. But it wouldn't actually do anything to your real hair. Although I could hypothetically laser trim it."

Bando George has posed:
Bando smiles broadly as Madison gives an agreeable addition to his statement. "Yea yeah! A directed study!" he points at her, indicating approval. When the Director gives the comment about talking to others about the idea, that smile broadens even further. That's kind of like a yes! "Oh thanks!" he says excitedly around his bite of pizza. "I can't wait!" Nevermind that no commitment was offered. He drifts of again, eyes now focused on Vivian's hologram on Madison's hair. "Ooh, that's cool." This one is easily distracted by shiny things. "You should totally do all of our costumes for Halloween," he suggests to Vivian. "That would be epic."

Madison Evans has posed:
"I... look... awesome!" Madison says brightly as she proceeds to pose - putting one hand behind her head, the other on her hip. She spins in a circle, then flips her hair, before letting out a laugh. "Man, that is //so// neat, Vivian. Thanks. I mean - though we weren't talking about projecting holographs of our surroundings - only, you know, of my appearance directly. And I just- you know. Don't see how that could be dangerous. I mean, projecting a holograph that covers a deep pit filled with spikes wouldn't be using your power //on// a student, but would still be dangerous. You know, the same way that a kid setting the building on fire wouldn't be using the power //on// a student - I do not endorse setting buildings on fire - I'm just saying a blanket rule against 'using powers on students' doesn't really provide the ride protection. You know?"
She stares at Bando, then at Vivian before asking, "You couldn't do that many holograms at once, could you? To do everyone's Halloween costumes? That'd be like... a lot of computing power."

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson gets up to leave. "Well I'm going to see about where I'm going to live. It was nice meeting you. Hope to see you soon." He also needs to check on that part time job he got through the office.

Vivian Vision has posed:
"I'm not sure basing a Halloween party around my ability would be a good idea," Viv points out to Bando. "I might not be able to attend the school event depending on assorted circumstances. So any plan which requires me to create all the costumes could backfire if the world was under threat."

Madison gets a shrug. "Actually a hologram is always used on someone. Because I am adjusting the light which you are seeing." In the background a portion of her mind is calculating the size of the Happy Harbour school gym. Calculations complete she adds "Actually it's not impossible from a technical point of view. Or even really that complex. Under a thousand three dimensional models? There are plenty of modern games or movies which have more simultaneous models on screen at once."

Bando George has posed:
"If the world was under threat?" Bando echoes. "Wait...are you a superhero?" he asks. "Oh man, me too! I got these fighting some weird spider things the other day. And I stopped a drug deal, and I saved some...well, stopped a gang fight...kinda. That one's complicated, but what I mean to say is I'm a superhero, too!" His tone seems more excited than proud. "So you were like a ro-synthezoid. Sorry! Sorry," He takes a breath. "So you-wait-oh I know, you're the Vision, but like, the other one, right?" he says, snapping his fingers as he starts to put it together. "The one that helped Genosha and stuff?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a smile to Bando and the others, "I cannot make any promises on the teachings, but if all else fails we can do the dos and don'ts of power usage. And hopefully it will make sense." she states.

Meanwhile, Delia is slipped a note by a boy about the same age and Declan quickly snatches it to take off down the hallway, "Ooooooo! Delia's got a boyfriend!" he croons. Delia's face flushes as she takes off after her brother, "Give. It. Back!" she shrieks as she goes after him.

Morrigan's fingers rise to pinch the bridge of her nose, "If you'll excuse me. Delia's not going to jail for murder on my watch." she chuckles as she hurries after them. Damn red heads!

Madison Evans has posed:
"Really?" Madison asks Vivian. ...on both accounts, really. She looks fascinated, and curious. And gives another spin before adding brightly, "Well - thanks for showing me. That was so cool! I still think the point applies, though. You know - setting a building on fire //doesn't// count on using powers on a student. But it's still, you know, obviously bad and not allowed. Where as using a healing power would be on another student - but could be very, very good and necessary."
Her gaze goes from Bando, to Vivian, and back again. "Genosha? That's the country in Africa right? The one that got..." she mimes an explosion.

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision gives Bando a polite smile. "My father is the Vision," she explains. "And I didn't do much to help Genosha directly. I was simply there to accompany my Great Aunt and Doctor Pym as they reverted it to normal size following Brainiacs shrink ray attack. I did help the Titans on a mission in orbit around Jupitor though. Sadly I can't really talk about many of the other missions I have been on."

She pauses and twirls her hair around her finger. "I don't know if I'd really consider myself a superhero though. All synthezoids.. well both of us.. have roughly similar abilities. I'm only 'super' in comparison to regular humans."

Bando George has posed:
Bando listens, sorry Viv, he actually doesn't. The look on his face is that there is a superhero in his school. Wait, maybe more than one? Is that possible? With all of the powers here, surely it's possible.

"You know what I think? I think you're super." He gives a point at her. "I don't know any of you people, but hey, I got a good feeling." He nods. "It's gonna be a good year." He pauses. "Unless a supervillan learns that there's heroes here and then decides to blow up the school. But... barring that, a good year."
