Cast of Characters: Simon Lasker, Naria Shepard

Simon Lasker has posed:
Moroni's is a small place in the minimum sized shop floor plan. You can barely fit a two person table and some walking space between the counter and the wall. The TV in the corner is playing some sporting thing or other usually. The shop as a whole is not particularly exceptional save one aspect. Location. This is a cheep pizza shop on an off streen in an expensive neighborhood kept afloat by the doormen, maids and taxi drivers of the fancy buildings nearby.

Naturally this is the place that Simon heads to. Cheep sustinance has always been a priority, but now that he has moved into new digs, it is even more so. He is wearing his usual Black-Leather-Jacket (tm) and jeans combo as he often does. He finds it makes it easier for his friends to find him in a crowd. Not that he needs an excuse to wear an awesome jacket like this, but still. Now that he is indoors in the airconditioning, he can remove it from tied around his waist and return it to his shoulders. He slumps into a chair and looks at the paper menu that sits on the table.

Naria Shepard has posed:
Pizza wasn't the heathiest of options, but when you were both a teenager and a living laser beam? You didn't sweat the calories so much. Rave was here, still dressed for her night out in the clubs thanks to her skirt and that net shirt over her bikini top. Clearly she didn't get cold easily, or was too hungry to avoid changing.

Attire aside, Rave's literally glowing locks would draw the eye easily enough, but that seemed not to bother her in the slightest as she made her way to the counter to place her order.

Simon Lasker has posed:
Simon looks up from his table. He has gained a habit of looking at the doorway whenever someone enters. He feels like its better to be paranoid than dead. Other people might consider this to be an unhealthy level of paranoia for someone who isn't wanted or involved in organized crime, but other people can mind their own business.

Glowing hair? The glowing trail? He swears he has seen that before. "Rave?" He kind of remembers that she does clubs despite not being old enough to drink. Apparently there are non alcoholic clubs, which is nice for people like Simon. "Hey. Its Simon. I think we met under a bridge some time this past winter."

Naria Shepard has posed:
Technically speaking, Rave wasn't meant to be old enough to enter some of the places she'd performed at, but sometimes people were willing to look the other way for the draw.

Her orders for slices placed, Rave turns as she's addressed, perhaps expecting a fan or a friend...and at the very least finding a familier face.

"Oh hey! Simon right? Did Ms. Winters introduce us or.....I can't quite remember exactly."

Simon Lasker has posed:
A smile comes to Simon's face. "Yeah! We met when you, me, and this other kid ... Drake I think it was, kind of happened upon each other in central park." the idea of people being officially introduced to him gives him a chuckle. When he was getting a job as a welder, he got officially introduced to a boss. Neither Simon, nor the foreman knew what that was supposed to be. "This Ms. Winters sounds like some kind of showbiz professional, and if she directed you to me like it was supposed to be an opportunity or something, you need a new manager."

Simon puts in his order as well. "So I got a new place. Whats up with you lately?"

Naria Shepard has posed:
"Oh! Pyro!" that she seems to recognize, clearly having linked the 'mutant' name in her mind a little better. How many people knew her birth name after all?

A little laugh at the comment of Ms. Winters, Rave waves her head. "She's...somewhere between a friend, an agent and a worrying aunt sometimes, but she's great."

As for mention of the new place? She nods, a shrug of her bared shoulders and a gesture to herself. "New gigs, a couple new songs, a few awesome highlights on the 'hero' feed..." the girl pauses, smiling slyly.

"I thought you said you were going to follow me on social media though, so you should be kinda up to date on this anyway..."

Simon Lasker has posed:
Simon frowns. He definately tried to keep up at one point, but eventually life happened. "Hey, I did. I just ... Its just the thing you say. Besides I kinda assumed that you wouldn't have your whole life on such a public platform." He watched two of her tracks before he remembered that ...yeah EDM just isn't his genre. He also never really got the thing where people take pictures of their food before they eat it. Those just make him hungry. Besides, he figures anyone would get bored after the 10th picture of a slice of pizza. "I was just being friendly. I didn't expect the spanish inquisition" He mutters.

Naria Shepard has posed:
"Noone expects the spanish inquisition," Rave responds with a wink, apparently having seen or at least heard the joke before. A hand comes up with a dismissive wave, lazily turning to a pat on his shoulder. "I was kidding, even I like private time and...well, finding time to write new stuff isn't always easy when you're trying to work -and- do the whole..." she doesn't speak, instead miming a classic hero pose with her hands on her hips.

"But it's good to see you! Wanna join me for a slice or two before I head out?"

Simon Lasker has posed:
Sigh of relief. "Of course. Pizza with friends is my favorite." Simon pulls out a chair for the table he was sitting at -- making a clatter as it bumps up against the chair behind it. "The caped affairs got kind of frustrating. For starters, its hard to /temporarily/ subdue people with fire." He looks down at the table. He had such high hopes (checks notes) a year ago. He was so young and naive then. "It just felt like I never got a chance to do something about the stuff that affects my friends."

"I just heard about the one time some fugatives crashed one of your events. How have things been with that side of (gestures) this since then?"
