Prithee what dost thou doeth, Lady Fury
Date of Scene: 22 March 2020
Location: Chinatown
Synopsis: Nada
Cast of Characters: Kay Fury, Thor

Kay Fury has posed:
It's been a few days since Kay's been set up in the hotel, those days spent acclimating to her new life here on Earth. She learned about the TV, which has been a constant source of amusement as well as information, and one of the kids who are a guest there showed her the (very) basics of what a computer and the thing called the 'interwebs' are about. All handy things, indeed. She happened upon a page describing Chinatown, the vibrant colors and everything making her want to go there. Which is why she's here now.

Thor has posed:
A message had been gained, perhaps awkwardly worded upon his cellular device. It took a quick search of Thor's device for JARVIS to gain enough information to reach the needed parameters to actually contact the Thunderer and let him know of it. With the AI helping him with his data, Thor has actually become /much/ more responsive to messages and invites and social obligations.
And now we see the proof. For when Kay wanders Chinatown she'll likely see the man when she rounds the corner in that vibrant beautiful area. See him sitting on the edge of a large potter/garden area with plants in the middle there on the small road. A myriad of civilians are around and some are looking at him curiously. But have no fear, for he has on the needed disguise of sunglasses and a baseball cap.
    Unrecognizable!
Though she can likely tell it's him.

Kay Fury has posed:
Do disguises like that really work? Guess they must as people are, for the most part, leaving him alone. Kay almost passes by him herself, it only being once she's close enough that she recognizes the man. "You look ridiculous," she quips, not understanding why he's hiding. Of course, she'd probably realize she does the same thing, attempting to hide her identity by costume and mask when she's being 'bad', but that won't dawn on her for some time to come. "Why do you wear such attire?"

Thor has posed:
"I bid you greetings as well." Thor says, lip curved and wry as he gestures to the seat next to him. "Perhaps it is an affectation I enjoy? And you belittle it. My feelings, alas." Though she might get the sliiight hint he's not being entirely serious as he lifts his chin.
"But let that rest." He turns slightly, brow furrowing, "How have matters passed for you? Have you gained work?" A look over her is given, gaze lowering then lifting back to her eyes. "Do your old allies still seek your downfall and made their presence known?"

Kay Fury has posed:
Sitting heavily, Kay causes some of the planter to crack, perhaps heavier than what it can structurally stand when her weight is combined with that of Thor. Glancing at him sideways, she frowns a little, not sure if he's joking or not. "I... am sorry." There. Apology given even if not necessarily needed. "My time has passed quietly," she admits once comfortable. "I have not found employment yet," not that it'll be easy to, lacking things like a social security number and proof of birth, "and no. They have not come to seek my downfall." Would be very bad for the city if they were to fight here. The damage would be massive.

Thor has posed:
"Ah," Thor nods and lets himself mull that over, features twisting a little. "I can speak to some that I know, perhaps arrange a meeting if such is what you seek." The tall Asgardian looks away, though notes the crack and runs a finger along it, lightly tapping for a moment.
Then he tilts his head back to her, "But I get the feeling there was some aught else you would speak on? You summoned, I am come."
Then he looks away and perhaps answers his own question as he murmurs, "Though I would not begrudge you simply wishing to see another familiar face."
