Synopsis: Bette and Oliver catch up, he shares a secret he hasn't even shared with Thea and there's a van to be found. Of course he's not going solo on this, never.
Cast of Characters: Oliver Queen, Bette Kane

Oliver Queen has posed:
It was the day before yesterday, after Oliver had been completely radio silent from the entire team for three days, that word went out. Something's wrong with Ollie and we need to keep it under wraps. The only known element is that someone snagged him outside his favorite coffee shop with what appeared - from the street cam footage - to have been a dart of some sort to the neck.

The program Felicity was running then hopped and skipped across town to follow the van, no plates, that he was shoved into. He was transferred to a boat and then lost. Until he showed up the day before yesterday with zero memory of anything that happened between the time he was rescued from Lian Yu until now.

Typical Oliver, it kept him 'down' for about twelve hours, eleven of those spent sleeping. Now, despite his gaping hole in his memory and a good decade of lost years, he's in the 'Cave'.

"Wait, what's this one do again?" he asks, hovering over Felicity's shoulder.

"Don't touch that, Oliver! You might shoot something off!" the little blonde tech guru chastises.

Deciding he's tormented her long enough for one day, he's backs up and wanders a little ways away to look at other things, hands to himself, promise Fee.

Bette Kane has posed:
Bette Kane made her way down to the Arrow Cave, listening to the elevator music and tapping her foot, not to the beat though. No, she was counting off the time it should take to descend. As part of the billionaire by day crowd, she was dressed in a red polo shirt, and a gold tennis skirt. Her tennis racket over her shoulder, the net spinning clockwise and counter, plain white ankle socks and top of the line tennis shoes. Of course, the logo matched the shoe to the shirt and skirt, the hawk emblem of Kane International, naturally. There was a good bit of toned legs and sculpted arms on display. A bit much she feared when the door opened and she could already hear Felicity's name.

Still, she announces herself and drops the racket at the side of the elevator. "HI, Oliver, Felicity." And then, naturally straight over to that scaling chin up bar of his. A hop and grip the bar, "How are you doing?" Up, and the flick to move it to the next rung, and down and up again. This time a mild grunt.

Oliver Queen has posed:
"Still running the algorithm to try and see if we can spot him again during the time he was missing," Felicity pipes up before falling silent as the little 'oh, she's probably not talking to me' goes off in her head. She goes back to watching images flicker by too fast for the eye to follow, searching for a match for one Oliver Queen.

"I'm good," Oliver replies, voice strained from biting back the chuckle at Felicity, really, he's tortured the girl too much today, he truly has. For all of it, despite all of it, he really does look pretty good. "...and you," he begins, noticing the racket and the rest of it, "...Bette?" It's likely that Thea filled him in with pictures as well. Still, best to be sure, right?

Bette Kane has posed:
The blonde crossed her ankles as her chin passed the bar, that really was easy, she could effortlessly pump out thirty normal chin-ups. Down and up a rung, three! No effort sound, thankfully her face was away. Inhale, exhale roll and up and over, now up and down.. Five, but another grunt, to inhale exhales. She looks back over her shoulder, "Yes, Oliver. Bette Kane." A bit of strain in her voice. Six though, it happens. And then after a second of hanging, she flips up seven, but she is done. She drops the distance down fluidly. "And I hate that thing." Except when watching Oliver Queen do it, a record for her, but still not all the way. /Unacceptable./ she rubs her hands a little and comes over to look over Felicity's shoulder, "You and Oracle.. so good at this." She offers, too graceful to snark at the competition, or be any thing but pleasant. And she actually liked Felicity.

Her focus goes to Ollie though. "Nothing, then.. Or just major details, did you recall anyone at first?"

Oliver Queen has posed:
"You'll get there," Oliver encourages just like he might have if this was last week when he still had it all up there. It's just him. At least it's him post Island, let's all be glad he didn't lose it all back to before. But when faced with the head on question of what's actually gone?

His jaw clenches ever so slightly, just enough to make that little muscle pop on the left side. "Nothing. I mean I remembered home was here so this is where I came. I knew who Thea was, even though she's all grown up and that's now how I remember leaving her. Otherwise, nothing. I can't find Dad's book." He's been a little obsessed with that, the one real tell-tale sign of just how messed up the situation is; that book is still important because *those* memories are as fresh as if they happened just last week.

Bette Kane has posed:
Bette looks at him, tilting her head a little and nodding as she walks over. "Just a reset.. Memories since the island. Well, I guess I have to remind you, you still owe be five thousand dollars for losing at darts." She gets it out, but the bright cover girl grin follows. "Sorry.. That is quite unusual. How about the time on the island?" Her eyes occasionally watching Overwatch work on the cameras. Then the blue eyes go back to his with a required chin lift. Her left foot again tapping.

Oliver Queen has posed:
"All of it, from the boat going down on and before. The only thing that's missing is between then and here. It's like yesterday. And how I got off, that's gone too. I just... it's like I just woke up walking home."

He's dressed casually in a pair of running pants, a hoodie and a t-shirt beneath - hoodie likely due to the chill in the house and the cave from cool air pumped through the central unit, definitely not outside attire.

"And... there's this," He strips off the hoodie, the shirt - Felicity squeaks a little and turns her attention back to the monitors. The scars from the Island, the ones that had faded to barely there in many places, well... a few of them are actually open wounds again, bandaged, by his own hand, a little red seeping through. "I remember getting these, I remember these... like they happened a week ago, tops... *on the island*."

Bette Kane has posed:
"I am neither a doctor, or a chemist. Did you find anything out on those lines?" Bette's voice picking up to try to get at least a little of the attention out of the other blonde. All of that though comes to a stop as he starts removing the layers of tops.

Entry wound, weird symbolic markings, all of that she would have expected, she lives in Gotham after all. This, she wasn't. A faint gasp of shock, a wince.

"Damn, Oliver. That needs stitching. I can call Dr. Isaac, the family doc. He won't ask many questions." Already reaching for her phone and drawing it, she waits for acceptance.

Oliver Queen has posed:
"We drew blood samples, only thing we found was ketamine, lots of it," Felicity pipe up without turning around until she hears mention of stitches. "We figure it's what..." They darted him with, that's where that was going, but the words trail off. "Ollie..." the 'why didn't you tell us' is unspoken but there.

"I'll heal, Bette. I can't... we can't let *anyone* know about any of this outside of the people that already do. I don't know who's behind this, I don't know how close the person responsible might be, I don't know if it's personal or just business for someone. Until we know more, I gotta keep up appearances, have to try to be this 'Green' Arrow everyone thinks I am."

He drags his hands down over his face, rolls his shoulders, squares them and then, "So, what's new with you? Update me on the past... oh, ten years?"

Bette Kane has posed:
"Oliver Queen could be mugged, you know.. tortured about some money transfer, or they could have gotten a large amount of cash off you so you don't want it reported to make you a target. You need some antibiotics, at least." There is a nod to Felicity though, and she just puts the phone away. Kate Kane is her cousin, and she knows Ollie too. A head shake. "Getting ready for the U.S. Open.. Recruiting for the army.. Jumping off tall buildings while dressed like a flaming pheonix.. But that name is taken."

Oliver Queen has posed:
"Yeah, but... the position of the wounds? It'll heal," Oliver repeats. He's a little paranoid right now, but is that unexpected under the circumstances. "Need to know and Thea doesn't even need to know about this part..." What *is* it with the Queens and all their secrets from one another. This case, it's Oliver's stupid idea of 'not wanting to worry her'.

"I... uh... can have a prescription ready to pick up at a pharmacy under a different name," Felicity offers helpfully.

"Sounds busy," he replies to all Bette's goings on, but then, "We need to look for a blue van, no plates at the time, but..."

Felicity produces a printed copy of a surveillance still of said van without prompting.

"I could get used to that," Oliver murmurs. "Long shot," voice louder. "... but for now, it's all we have."

Bette Kane has posed:
Well, Kane's had their issues too. And Bette walks over to take the paper from Felicity before he thinks to move. A glance, the she rolls it up and tucks it behind her back. "No solos on this Oliver. You get shot again with that stuff, you might go back to first grade. I am guessing those are only the island injures.. You have quite a few others. Some one knows where you got them. Do you know who else was there? Or who have you told the most about it. I mean beyond your typical detailed discussions about, 'Well there was an island.. Bad stuff. I face it myself. End of story.'"

Oliver Queen has posed:
"Other than a bunch of terrorists? Mostly nameless enemies? No, just one... I mean just one, but he's not behind this. Slade Wilson. But it was an Island and there was bad stuff and it really is mine to bear, right?"

Oliver cracks a crooked, dimpled grin in Bette's direction, all head tilt and amused. "You think I don't have a copy of that? I know though, you're right..." Wow, wut? Either someone cloned Ollie or this really has him rattled... or them more likely answer is that he goes solo after she leaves.

"Leaving it to the team to find that van, Bette, so go find it." He winks, clicks his tongue and turns on his heels to walk toward the elevator. Normally this is where he'd have gone and shown off on that chin-up bar, but not with his current 'ouchies'.

Bette Kane has posed:
"Well, good." Bette is strong willed, confident, independant. But, considering the type of people she calls friends and family, not used to wiining an arguement, by admission. She lets him get on the elevator and lets it close. "You checked his DNA, right.. And that phasic whatever to make sure he isn't replaced by some Earth 34 version that takes suggestions?"
