Alexis Carr has posed:
    It was something she was familiar with.

    Disembark. Carry-on. Declare items (two bottles of wine from her grandparents, small variety of Italian goodies). Pass through customs. Retrieve her bag, and she was walking towards the pick-up area of JFK international airport, wearing a peasant girl blouse and comfortable skirt, heels tapping on the tile floor, her hair braided and then pulled into a bun.

    She was tapping out on her phone:

    <Got my bag, walking to p/u area now. Miss your face!>

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie is parked in the pick up area, the big white truck he got for his birthday this past year, clean and sparkling. He is standing outside it with a sign with her name on it, wearing a chauffeur hat, and his normal clothes. The young man reads the message on his phone and starts scanning for her a smile on his face.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    The young woman comes out the doors of JFK, and immediately spots Sam. She gives a bright laugh, and makes her way towards the truck, coming in at jogging speed.

    "Funny, I don't remember hiring a chauffeur!" Allegra teases as she tries to reach up and pluck the hat right off Sam's blond head.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie lets her and as she does he wraps his arms around her and leans in for a quick kiss "Well, I thought you deserved the best." He offers her with a smile. He moves to take her bags from her, and says "Everything go ok on the way in?"

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Little bit of turbulence coming over the Atlantic and Nonna and Papa did not want to see me go. Nonna asked God to protect me, and I had to break it to her gently that I don't think God looks after those who shack up with their boyfriends, even if they are good farm boys." she teases.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smiles and says "Ah think he might, might want us to be a bit more than shacking up, but I think he might forgive that part." He grins at her, and secures her luggage in the truck. "You tell them we would try go see if we could come back for a weekend around christmas?"

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "No, because Nonna will start cooking today for it and we could feed your entire school on what she would accomplish. There would be wheat shortages for weeks." Alexis laughs, and she pops open the door of the truck to hop in.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie grins and offers her a hand to help climb up before moving over to the drivers side. He grins as he gets in and says "Oh, we could just call in the little ones from back home, Ah am sure they would handle it." He reaches over to squeeze her hand "Ah'm glad your home hon."

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "It's good to be home, Sam." Alexis gives a smile, leaning against him for a brief moment before she breathes out, and goes to clip in.

    "But it was good to get Nonna and Papa's affairs in order; they're still hale and healthy but writing my dad out of the will wasn't easy."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods, a bit and says "I can imagine." He starts the truck, and starts heading out of the airport "Had a few things going on here while you were gone. School picked up a new student you know." He tells her as they go. Letting her guess for a moment if she wishes "And I got a new part time job at Harry's"

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Oh? I'm sure it's crowded as usual for the start of the school year. Last vestiges of freedom, the like." she states with forced disinterest. She cared about the school, buuuut she hadn't been back since her confrontation with The Frosts.

    "Ah, are you runnin' tables then? Cooking?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks over a moment and says "Ma sent Jay up." He explains who the new student is. "Ah am starting with bussing tables and bar back, but going to learn to mix drinks and tend bars. Ah figured we might watch Cocktail to help me learn some cool moves." He grins a bit and says "I am still taking my classes, but need to have some cash coming in."

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "... if it's just a question of /cash, Sam--" Alexis states as she turns, looking up to the blonde as she purses her lips. "... you could ask."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks over to her, and says "It is ok hon, Ah know with your grandparents stuff sorted out, you have more access to your family funds than before, but I know you were not wanting to depends on them. Ah figure even if your wanting to spend a bit more of it, me working is a good example for the kids, specially with Jay up here.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Or..." she frowns a moment. "I could invest in something. It'd be just a hair this side of money laundering." she frowns a moment, and she looks out over the highway as Sam drives.

    "The Hellfire Club already has started sending me invites for additional events. Performances and as attendee. I even brokered a very exclusive new world deal where the Hellfire club has access to a very exclusive vintage." she folds her hands a moment.

    'I could buy building son the edge of Mutant Town. Apartmentalize them. Run some sort of apprenticeship program with building management and trades for students who need part time positions."
