Location: Joe's Gym
Synopsis: No description
Cast of Characters: Kyani Kohanna, Atlin

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
It's late in the afternoon, Joe's Gym isn't that active today. There are a few people working out on exercise equipment and there are a few punching bags being hit by a few people, all and all it's pretty quiet about the place. Kyani is dressed in shorts and t-shirt, he hops from side to side on a full body punching bag, he trade blows moving from mid to high strikes, followed by kicks to the leg area. The dark skinned man is working up a sweat as he moves about the bag, not just standing in the front of it, he moves to the sides and back.

Atlin has posed:
It wasn't exactly easy finding a place to train safely after coming to Man's World. Certainly, she'd had to downgrade some of the more prefered but violent methods.
With that in mind, the tanned figure of Atlin pushed through the door. The black shorts and deep blue tank top she wore were borrowed, provided by her 'contact' in the city, but the Amazon still looked a little out of place as she stepped through and into the gym.

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
It was sometimes hard not going full out, though it's something that Kyani had learned to do just because some wouldn't approve, still he swings with a right hook followed up by doing a back spinning kick to the middle of the bag. Kyani moves backwards in a fluid motion as he swings his arms in a spinning motion before doing a double palm strike to the left rib area of the punching bag. Kyani hops back before through a knee in towards the dummy's chest area snd side stepping to strike at the side of teh throat.

Atlin has posed:
Moving forwards, Atlin makes her way further into the gym. The impacts of the other patron has her pausing, raising an eyebrow as she watches closely. Her arms cross, resting under her bust as she watches the assault on the dummy. Another step, the tanned woman circles lightly around the space, perhaps unnervingly so.

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Kyani spins to his left throwing an elbow into the head area of the dummy. When Atlin moves in closer, he moves around her, moving as if he's done this before and he leaps forward throwing a knee towards the side of the training dummy. He's breathing hard, but his breaths are controlled, sweat is running down him as he trains.

Atlin has posed:
"You are well trained, or well practioed?" Finally the Amazon speaks up, tilting her head to the side as she finally steps back. Seems she'd been assessing, judging technique and impact. There was plenty in this new world she didn't understand after all, but Martial training was about as much 'normal' as she'd seen.

"Of course, this dummy is hardly likely to hit you back."

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Looking to the woman who now speaks, "Thanks." he says to her. "Been training since I was a kid, been in a few fights here and there." he says to her. He smiles a little bit as she says that the dummy wouldn't hit back. He grins, "You care to spar?" he asks as he gestures to one of the sparring area that's not being used.

Atlin has posed:
Now that, it brings a little chuckle from the Amazon's lips and she shrugs her shoulders. "I shouldn't," she begins, gesturing to herself. "I have been training since....well, since I was a child as well. I am new to this...country and the friend who is showing me around has asked me to avoid fighting after the last time."
Atlin shrugs, lifting her hands. "People prefer a little more restraint here."

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Looking to the woman for a long moment, he's thinking as he looks at Atlin. "How hard can you hit?" he asks as he looks to Atlin, "Are you able to spar without going full out?" he asks not sure what her full capabilities are. She is human right?

Atlin has posed:
"Harder than you'd think," the woman shrugs, giving a little smirk as she moves toward the very same dummy that Kyani himself had been practicing on moments ago. A shift in stance, a quick step forward of a basic straight punch thown...and the dummy rattles like it had been hit far-far harder than it should have been. Shrugging, the Amazon turns back to the man. "I suppose one could say I have a talent for it."

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
He smiles and when she hits the trianing dummy his mouth drops and he looks back to her. He smiles, "Damn." he says. "Well if you can't spar, would you be interested in taking on a student?" he asks. "I'm still learning, and honestly I've not had a teacher in years. Though if you ever wish to spar, I can take a few hits, I'm not as squishy as I appear."

Atlin has posed:
A laugh comes, she tilts her head to the side as she steps towards the sparring ring, seemingly forgetting to remove her shoes. A gym wasn't exactly something she was familier with after all. "Your technique is adequete, you seem perfectly comfortable. And I have never trained with a man in my life. I would not know where to begin." A shift, she shrugs and lifts her hands. "If you wish, but I can only say that I warned you fairly." A pause, she beckons for him to attack, yet conversation remains almost...relaxed. "I am Atlin of Bana-Mighdall."

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Kyani follows Atlin to the mat and he does take off his shoes, as he approaches. "You may want to take your shoes off here. THey do have rules with shoes in the sparring circle." he says to her. Though as she tells him what she seen he nods his head, he sighs, "Just try not to kill me please, I would like to do this again if I survive." he laughs. "I'm Kyani Kohanna from da Bronx." he chuckles.

Atlin has posed:
"I cannot promise no injury," she begins, frowning a little and reaching down to slide the boots on her feet off, casting them aside with a thud. "But I have no intention of killing anyone in training."

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Nodding his head, "Ok I'm cool with that. I can heal pretty quickly." he says to her. "I'm ready when you are." he says as he looks to Atlin. "From what I just saw, you are probably better than I am, but I'm looking for a challenge."
