Synopsis: Viv go to the most famous model she knows for her latest art project and Koriand'r is happy to help.
Cast of Characters: Vivian Vision, Koriand'r

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision's latest project in the ongoing quest to understand humanity is the arts. More specifically pencil drawings. And with a supply of suitable paper and art supplies secured all that was left was a subject. And logically speaking when you're looking for a subject why not ask a professional model?

Not typically an option for most people but the Titans aren't a typical group.

So Viv composed a simple, by her standards, message for Koriand'r. 'I was wondering if you might be able to spare some time to model for my art project? If you happen to be free and willing to help me then I would not expect you to go to any additional trouble. So there would be no complex poses or costumes. Whatever you feel most comfortable in would be more than fine. Thank you in advance for reading my request - Viv'

It's some time later we find her standing in the corridoor of the Womens dorm in Titans Tower with her sketch pad and some pencils. Ready for her first attempt at drawing.

Koriand'r has posed:
The door opens and Kori's head peeks out from behind it, "Vivian! Please, come in. I was surprised to get your message, but of course I am more than happy to model for you." She says, before she walks over to where there is a chair, and couch. She is wearing a towel, and she motions to the chair as she asks, "Do you need anything to drink? I figured you could sit here and I would be on the couch for you."

And then, the towel falls away, and there standing in front of Vivian is a very naked Kori. She starts to walk over to the couch, not thinking twice about her nudity as she settles in, laying across it, and looks over at Vivian, apparently waiting for her to get started.

Vivian Vision has posed:
Viv smiles in response to the cheer in the greeting as she steps into Kori's room and closes the door behind her. "Thank you for the offer," she replies. "But I do not need to consume food or drink. My solar gem means I only need access to light to power myself." She follows the older Titan in and begins to open the bag she's got her art supplies in.

It's not until the sound of the towel dropping registers that she looks up.

"Just to confirm Koriand'r you are aware that you are currently undressed?" She blinks a few times. "Also that as I am a synthezoid anything my eyes see is essentially recorded?"

She takes a moment to look down and fidget with the pencils. Perhaps to give Kori time to consider the questions. "I had been intending on limiting my abilities during the drawing process to better experience how a regular Human would carry out the task. So you may have to pose for a moderate amount of time..."

Koriand'r has posed:
"Yes. I am aware. Do humans not draw models in the nude?" Koriand'r asks, frowning a bit, "I could have swore I saw a television show where this happened..." She does not seem to mind terribly much though as she settles on the couch, "Are you uploading this to the cloud, as you say? Should I be telling my lawyer to keep any eye out for an explosion of naked pictures of me on the internet?" Her questions are slightly teasing.

"I can put on clothes if you would like, but I figured since this was...art...you would want to draw my body as it is." Koriand'r explains, looking to the android for her reaction.

Vivian Vision has posed:
"There is an art genre based around the drawing or painting of models like that yes," Vivian confirms, taking that as confirmation she's okay to look back up again. "Oh. No I do not upload any footage from within Titans Tower for security reasons. Nor would I upload anything without consent. Especially as the Avengers monitor my online activity."

She idly begins twirling a lock of green hair around her finger.

"If I am okay to speak honestly..?" She starts, then with a shrug she continues. "I was told by Cassie that it's normal to see someone else like this. Which should mean it is perfectly fine to continue.." The twirling continues. "I am just concerned I might act in a way that offends you.. As I don't really know anything about your culture or species beyond what is in the Titans records."

Koriand'r has posed:
"You've been naked with Cassie?" Koriand'r asks, seeming a bit surprised by that. And then she smiles and shakes her head, "You won't offend me. Bodies are meant to be enjoyed, to be looked at, as far as I am concerned. And, it turns out: quite a few members of your species agree with me."

She then settles in a little more on the couch, stretching out, curling one leg under the other, "Is this pose something you can work with?" she asks.

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision shakes her head. "I was not naked," she explains. "Before I joined the Titans I helped out with a mission in space. She was hit by a blast of plasma she was deflecting with her bracers and it destroyed her suit." She opens the pad of paper. "I would not say I'm the same species as Humans. There are only a handful of self aware synthetics and, to the best of my knowledge, only two Synthezoids."

She sits on the chair and adjusts the pad to find a comfortable position. There is a slight change to the colour of her cheeks though. A synthezoid blush perhaps?

"I should be able to talk while I draw. So if you do not mind I would like to take this chance to get to know more about you. If that is okay?" Vivs eyes are a solid yellow glow, making it tough to tell where she's looking, but she gives a little nod when Kori asks about her pose. "So long as you're comfortable that will be excellent."

Koriand'r has posed:
Koriand'r nods as she listens to Vivian speak, and tries to hold her pose so as to give the being as much of a chance to draw her accurately as possible. She hmms for a moment, and then asks, "If you are recording this, is there any value to me laying here like this for a long time? I don't ask to be mean, I am asking because, now that you've seen your subject, shouldn't that be all you need to recreate me in any position you'd like?" There might be a bit of a tease there, in response to the blush.

She smiles at the question Vivian asks about if it's ok to talk, "I am more than fine with answering any questions you might have," she replies.

Vivian Vision has posed:
"Technically that is true. I could even have used the Titans Tower security footage to create a fully three-dimensional holographic replica of you which would fool most Humans on the planet. It's just... the reason I wished to try art is to understand the Human element. So I am trying to create my art without relying on those abilities," Vivian explains earnestly as she draws. "While doing my background research there is a lot of talk about capturing the essence of the subject. I thought it was worth investigating if that was really important."

It seems she's not ignoring all her synthezoid abilities though. She maintains focus on her subject without needing to check what she's actually drawn. Her machine precise motor skills allowing very accurate drawing. The only sign of a wavering in her focus is when she bites at her lip.

"Is your attitude to this sort of situation fairly typical of a Tamaranean? I am curious if it's a cultural element or if it's something unique to you." She tilts her head a fraction, a tiny peek at her drawing, then hmms. "This may sound odd but.. I think that I might envy you a little. There are very few aliens or AI on Earth and yet you seem so effortlessly comfortable here."

Koriand'r has posed:
"I believe I am typical of my kind. I think most of us see a lot of the things that the people of Earth see as shameful, or embarrassing and...don't really understand it. I mean, I understand that people are different but I do not see those differences as something to be ashamed of. Celebrate who you are. My body is not as voluptuous as let's say...Power Girl's, but it does not worry me." Kori replies, after a few moments of thought about Vivian's question.

"I would not be envious of me though. That too leads to self doubt and you asking if you're good enough. Everyone is good enough if they put their mind to it and stop worrying about the little things." As she says this, she shifts a little on the couch, not a lot, but a bit. To keep the blood moving.

Vivian Vision has posed:
"I don't think all Humans behave that way," Vivian muses. "The Amazons certainly are very comfortable with themselves. And they are not unique. Unfortunately my own personality is made from largely North American values. So when my emotional core is engaged I do tend to find myself feeling embarrassed at things I objectively should not."

All the while her hand keeps sketching away. Slight movements don't seem to cause her any problems either.

"For example I know I should be able to say that I am glad you agreed to pose for me. It is simply being polite, but it still seems to trigger my urge to blush."

Koriand'r has posed:
"Perhaps not. I do not know many Amazonians. Perhaps I shall meet them. They seem to be of a like mind. But...yes, those here in Metropolis, or Gotham, or New York City all seem to have hangups about this sort of thing." Kori replies, "When, really, they should not as everyone has a body, and they are all different." She shrugs just a little bit, and then asks, "Where will you be displaying your portraits?"

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision nods when Koriand'r talks about people in the local area having hangups. "I will certainly try to question my preconceived notions more," she decides, her voice lowering to replicate how a Human would show concentration. "Especially in regard to embarrasment."

"I had not really thought about it very much." She glances between Kori and her drawing. Then chews at her lip. "I think perhaps I will offer them as gifts to the subjects."
