Cast of Characters: Jay Guthrie, Tabitha Smith

Jay Guthrie has posed:
The garden is full of the sound of music, Jay Guthrie strumming along on an acoustic guitar. Songs range in genre and decade, from the later hits to the memorable gems of the 80's. Presently, Jay is belting out 'Another one Bites the Dust' by Queen.

"How do you think I'm going to get along
Without you when you're gone
You took me for everything that I had
And kicked me out on my own
Are you happy are you satisfied?
How long can you stand the heat
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
To the sound of the beat look out

Another one bites the dust....
Another one bites the dust...."

His Freddie is eerily perfect, voice capitalizing on what what distinctly made the man a super star. Once found, he's sitting on the edge of a raised garden, guitar cradled, his large red wings spread but relaxed.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
The song is oddly perfect for the mood Tabitha Smith finds herself in. Though the sun is basically down at this point, She still has her sunglasses on and over her eyes rather than pushed up into her hair which is pulled up onto the top of her head.

Without even looking to see who she's tossing the tiny bomb at, Tabby toses a little plasma bomb at the feet of the young singer as she walks into the area. The dark green of her skimpy top and accompanying shorts fades into the darkness but the exposed skin is visible enough. All she says before the little bomb goes mini-boom is "2... 1..."

Jay Guthrie has posed:
"Another one bites the... OH SHIT!" The red-haired is startled by the small explosion, lost in his music, he hadn't even noticed it land at his feet. With a single power beat of his wings, he ascends above the garden and then hovers, the Yamaha guitar wielded like a club.

"Alright, whoever the hell did that..." And that's when he first spies Tabitha. He frowns and maintains his altitude. Black tank top, camo pants, and army boots, he makes for a strange aerial commando armed with only but the guitar. His green eyes narrow before he slowly descends.

"Rotten trick to pull..." He mumbles.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith looks up at Jay then follows him back down as he descends, "That is far from the worst thing I've done with one of them to unsuspecting victims. I will admit that I haven't done that recently though. People keep telling me they are potentially fatal." Potentially? Like she hasn't seen her bombs kill before? Oh yeah. Tabby's seen it but she doesn't want to think about it right now. "Song just seemed to be begging for one though. And I needed to watch something blow. Didn't think it would scare you that much."

Jay Guthrie has posed:
Once his boots are back on terra firma, his wings tuck behind him. He draws a messy bang of red out of his eyes and frowns. "I would say its a little bit my fault for being out of it, but still... you were the one pulling the prank."

Inhaling deeply, he lets out a long sigh, "But... no harm no foul."

Offering a smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes, but is pretty regardless. He introduces himself, "I'm Jay... Jay Guthrie.. and who are you? The midnight bomber?"

While he waits on his answer, he starts playing "Cherry Bomb by The Runaways"

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Oh look... it's Tabby's theme song. That almost tempts the southern girl into singing instead of answering his question, but her mood's a touch too grim even if she is covering it with a smirk. "Name's Tabitha Smith but most people call me Tabby or Boom-Boom. For Sam's little brother, I think you can call me Tabby."

Jay Guthrie has posed:
"Tabby, huh?" He tilts his head to the side and then sits on the edge of the raised garden once more. "Oh, so you know Sam..."

Setting the guitar to the aside, he stretches his arms over head and extends the stretch down his spine with an arch of his back. "I haven't seen big bro since I enrolled. Figures you'd know him.. Boom-Boom.. Cannonball. Sounds like the start of some kind of explosion themed team. My codename is Icarus."

He snaps his wings open and thumbs over his shoulder to explain the name if it wasn't already obvious. "Well, nice to meet you, Tabby."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith smirks again, "It was an explosive pairing for sure. Sam's my ex." She nods at his wings, "You handle those things pretty well. You give yourself that codename or get it from somebody else?" As she walks over another small bomb is tossed into the air over both their heads and detonates where it cannot hurt anyone.

Jay Guthrie has posed:
"Was on my profile when I arrived, I guess one of the advisors decided it was warranted." He gives of a shrug.

"Huh.. Sam had and lost a girlfriend already. Well, I hope it wasn't a bad break up." He hangs his head a little bit and thumbs over a spot on his tank top, rubbing his chest underneath.

"Guess it wasn't too bad with you both.... still being alive and all." He turns and sprawls out on the garden edge, wings folding to allow the position.

"Just a matter of practice like everything else. Little more complicated then what Sam has to deal with, but I've got other advantages." He folds a leg over the other, boot dangling in the air.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith shrugs a shoulder, "We still talk if that's what you were wondering. You say he's not caught up with you yet? Maybe Alexis is keepin' him busy. He lives up in the resident's wing but he's not always there. Has another place off campus. Do anything for fun other than play guitar?"

Jay Guthrie has posed:
"Yea, I noticed." Sam replies without much concern. At the question, he looks at his guitar and then shrugs his shoulders again.

"Sometimes I go for a flight, but usually I keep myself busy with music. Play a few gigs here and there. Had a band back home. Probably will start a new one here. Guess its always been a good escape, so never really think of doing something else." He hums in thought, then shrugs it off, not really unhappy with his choice of past time.

"What about yourself? Do anything for fun beyond throwing bombs at boys?"

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith shrugs, "Not in the past few days, no. Still working on it. Listen to music on my boom box... play cards with Yana and the gang. Play pranks on the unsuspecting. They don't even always involve bombs but those are a lot of fun."

Jay Guthrie has posed:
"Well, if you want to listen to live music. Hit me up, better then the box, and if it gets me out of your sights for pranks even better." Jay looks toward to the side for a moment, averting his gaze.

Slowly, he picks up his guitar and cradles it to his chest. "Uh, excuse me. Nice meeting you, but I wasn't really looking to be around other people. So... see you around."

With a pump of his wings, he abruptly takes flight once more. He circles a few times to gain altitude and then glides back toward the mansion proper.
