Cast of Characters: Tabitha Smith, Samuel Guthrie

Tabitha Smith has posed:
It's been a while since the group came back from getting information for James without James. Tabitha Smith has not been seen very much since her hangover the following morning but rumor has it all of said appearances have been accompanied by someone having a time bomb in the small to middling range thrown at them.

Most of them haven't been of a dangerous size. Tabby doesn't want to kill anyone after all. Until today however. Today the area beneath the resident wing windows has become a dangerous place to be because Tabby is sitting on her bed with the window wide open, chucking time bombs out it with reckless disregard for who might be below it.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie got word of this and figured he should check in on her. He grabs some of her favorite snacks, a couple of those goofy magazines she likes and some sodas. Sam knows how to make a peace offering to the Booming one. He comes up to the door and knocks on it calling out "Hey Tabs, it is me Sam."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
The knocking is followed by three things: a rattling boom that shakes the door and implies Tabby threw a bomb at the door this time, a more distant but possibly larger boom from outside and finally a grudging, "It's not locked."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie comes walking in ready to duck more bombs. He looks over to her, and says "You know ya keep that up, they going to have you outside painting the whole west side of the mansion." He jokes towards her. He does set the bag down on her bed "Got ya a few things ain't seen you out and about."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith lobs a bomb over her shoulder without even looking despite having told him he could come in by admitting the door wasn't locked. The loss of sheen on the wooden interior of her door confirms having been hit by a bomb. "Well, I guess I don't get the option to say no if they tell me to now that I'm officially mooching off the estate."

That definitely doesn't sound like a person who cares though. This time the bomb she summons is as big as her hand, but luckily for anyone who hasn't figured out it's the danger zone at the moment she chucks it high enough into the air that it never makes it to the ground before exploding with enough force to make some poor student yell "WHOA!" as the concussive force knocks him on his butt.

She finally glances toward the bag. "What's that?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie will not dodge the one towards the door, just lift off the ground with the softest of roars, seems he has been working on dampening the sound of his field." I thought you might need something to munch." He does reach in and pulls a coke out for himself, as cheerwine is a bit hard to find in these parts. "That or hire one of the under classmen to do it, and I said hire not threaten to blow them up if they did not." He gives her the look of knowing her.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith actually scowls at Sam which is a definite sign of bad things since Tabby doesn't normally show what's underneath that much even on her worst days, "And I have been out. Your brother can verify that. He was singing another one bites the dust and it really felt like someone was begging for it." She takes the coke. "And how would I hire someone if leaving them unmolested by my multitude of bombs isn't an acceptable currency?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks to her, and says "Well you wanted a job at Harry's didn't you?" He asks her crossing his arms. He will lower the field and step a bit closer and sits down on the edge of the bed.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith lobs another bomb out the window before finally opening the Coke and taking a long drink, "I guess I did say something to that effect the day before the world went to ..." Instead of finishing in English she shows off that Jimmy did in fact teach her some Apache over the years by filling the empty moment with a long string of interesting Apache curses.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks over and says "And Ah am sure Josh... err Jay damn that takes getting used to. Did not any harm, you know he is a good kid." He reminds her "He looks to her, and says "And you gotta remember something about us, never give up hope on any one of us."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Instead of a time bomb, this time it's the open can of Coke that gets chucked at Sam's head simply because that's already in her hand when he says it. "Jimmy is COMING BACK." Which is of course what Sam said in a way so why does it sound like Tabby's having trouble saying it?

She abruptly turns back to the window and begins with the bombs again, one from each hand now though at least she's taken the size of the little yellow balls of dangerous to the mostly trivial again.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie will dodge and catch the can getting splashed a bit "Yea he is, and what will he say about you killing all the bushes below your window? You know he helps with the gardening around here right?" He reaches out to put a hand on her shoulder softly.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith flinches when he touches her but the next set of time bombs never form. Her chest rises and falls quickly for a moment before she snaps, "It was a BLOODY TRAP. They were WAITING for him to come and we walked right into it! He made me leave him, Sam."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods, and says "And he did not want you hurt." He tells her "James can take care of himself Tabs, Ah mean if there is one guy who Ah think can hold his own and not let them get the best of him, James is up on that list, Logan maybe higher but James ain't gonna let no man break him. And will be making their life miserable as long as they have him, you know that."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith turns to look at him, "Against a platoon full of John Proudstars? That's who were were facing, Sam. They used his brother against him. You ... " She presses her hands to her head, "You're right. I know you're right. I told Clarice he's not dead that night, but you didn't see him Sam. Jimmy didn't think he was going to make it, I don't think."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks to her, and says "We will get him back, he will make it. Looks at what all people have come back from. And they may look like John, and that may him Jimmy hard, but he knows it is not him. And if any of them turn out to have some of the real John in them, Jimmy will have them helping him.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith pulls her knees up in front of her on the bed and hugs them to her chest. "You're right. I just feel so useless. I haven't heard anything about what Kitty found in the computers or how and when we're goin' after him. Haven't even seen 'yana or Kitty since I got back from the asteroid."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie will stand up and walk around the bed to her. He will take her into a hug and rubs her back. "Gotta trust they are doing what they can, finding the most likely way to get him home, and stop those who are doing it to him."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
For just a moment, there's no response then Tabby's arms go around him in return and she squeezes as hard as she can manage since she knows she's not strong enough to hurt anyone that way. "I do..." is muttered against his chest and thus somewhat muffled by the fact that her face is pressed tightly against his shirt rather than pulling back so she can be heard easier.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie just rubs her back, and is there for her. They may not be a couple any more, but Tabby will always be someone special to Sam and a close friend, and he will be there for her.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith grips the back of his shirt in fists as she clings to him through her moment of no control. No. She absolutely did not leave that wet spot on Sam's shirt. He must have a sweating problem of something. She clears her throat and pulls back, "You're not supposed to see me like this anymore."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smirks down at her, and says "Your my friend Tabby, Ah will always be there for my friends. You know that." He rubs her back a moment more and as she pulls back he steps back offering her the can of coke she threw at him.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith takes the can back with a grimace, "Doesn't mean you need to endure me crabby any more." She takes another big swallow from the can before asking, "What else is in that bag?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie will move to unpack it showing some cool ranch Doritos and some other chips, enough to give a nice selection and then a teen beat type magazine, one about whats hot this season, one of the tabloids with gossip, and bat boy escapes and such in it.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith grabs a bag of chips and pulls it open, "Jimmy woulda had chocolate in there." Slowly she switches to crossed legs. "So you didn't hear about anybody getting hurt before you came up here did you?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie shakes his head and says "Na, it seems you started small enough folks kept away from the area. Well other than a couple who were betting if you were going to do real damage eventually." He tells her. "Hey Ah remembered the magazines, don't Ah get some credit."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith smirks at that. "Well o'course ya get credit for the magazines, Sam. Just wasn't aware you wanted to tally yer points." Having gotten it out seems to have finally done Tabby some good. Or at least she's not seeming so crabby anymore.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie grins and says "Hey just making sure I am on the good side, so know what I need to dodge next time." He smiles and finds a seat "So you wanting that job still?" He tries to keep her away from bad thoughts

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith nods, "Yeah. I need something to keep me outta trouble, but I don't think I can until we get Jimmy back. Can't get my mind to stay settled, ya know?" Some chips are washed down by soda then she adds, "Hey. Do me a favor and put something on the boom box." She gestures to her desk and the multitude of CDs laying around her cheap boom box.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie walks over to look through her tapes, and hmms a bit He is tempted to put on the weird Al, but resists, and goes for an mix tape (just so happens to be the same as the guardians of the galaxy mix tape)

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith closes her eyes and sways a little to the music, "I'm sorry I scared Jay the other night with my bomb. He ran off pretty quick after I interrupted him. Didn't mean to cause that."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie says, "Might have to have ya apologize to him, he is going through a lot, not quite the kid you remember from back home. He went through some stuff back home he is still trying to deal with."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith drops her elbow on her knee and props her chin on the raised hand, "And yer pretty sure ya can't be convinced to just pass along my apologies for me?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks to her, and says "Ah can, but do you really think it will be as good a thing for you or for him if Ah do?

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith points out, "I can be pretty sure it will be a lot less awkward for us both if you do it." She stuffs some chips in her mouth as a stalling tactic.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smirks and just gives her the look "Well we will see." He tells her. About then his phone rings, and he looks down at it "It's Ma, I need to take this, you ok?" He asks Tabby

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith nods and makes a shooing gesture with her hand as he goes.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie heads out into the hall "Hey Ma, yea everything ok? Good good." He continues to talk to his mom as he heads towards his own room.
