It's a lazy afternoon in the loft, and with nothing to keep her idle hands busy, Hope has resigned herself to a game of table tennis..Which admittedly, is rather challenging, when you're playing against yourself, and having to constantly dart back and forth between the two sides of the table. Of course, Hope is constantly trying to push herself, and this is a great way to burn off some excess energy..Hey at least she's doing something productive, sharpening her hand-eye coordination.

Conner Kent has posed:
And that is what Conner expected. From Bart. Well, he might also be fast enough to play table tennis against himself, but he has little interest on it. Seeing Hope trying is pretty crazy. "You are going to hurt yourself, Red," comments Conner on the way to kitchen. He also snatches the remote to put on some low-volume music channel on the screen. It helps mute the background noise of Gotham, which is rarely made of nice sounds.

Hope Summers is struggling really. She doesn't have super sped, not unless she steals from someone, but there aren't a lot of mutants at the loft to steal powers from..Which is too bad as she feels more at home here than anywhere really. She smirks at Conner and smiles, shrugging, "Heh, true, but it was a worth a try right...Care to join me? I could use the practice.." yes, even a game can be seen as work thru her lens.

Conner Kent has posed:
"You sure? I am probably ten times faster than you," offers Conner. Maybe five, if she is copying Laura. It is still a slow motion game for him if he is concentrating. "Let me guess, none of the other dangerous girls is at the gym downstairs right now, uh?"

Ironically Conner, the team's strongman, is the one that spends less time training. One of the few he goes to college. "Let me grab a drink first, if you are sure," he adds.

Hope Summers has posed:
Hope Summers shrugs and smirks, "Okay, point, but..Maybe hold back just a bit?" she shrugs, "Laura and Gabby aren't that far away, so I can tap into theur powers. But I need to push myself..My powers are..Uncertain, I can't rely on nearby mutants to reach my maximum potential.." she tilts her head at him curiously, "I wonder how much self control it would take for you to reign in your powers a bit too?" she grins, "Although it's too bad you're not a mutant..."

Conner Kent has posed:
"Yeah, sorry," replies Conner, not looking sorry at all. He brings a can of soda from the kitchen and gives Hope and once over. "I can go easy on you, I guess. If what you want is just a good workout." He hesitates, "you don't sense my telekinesis is a mutant power, do you? I mean, I am not sure where it comes. Kryptonians don't usually have telekinesis."
