Ororo's Early Morning Tae Bo Sessions Get Interrupted
Date of Scene: 12 September 2021
Location: Recreation Room
Synopsis: No description
Cast of Characters: Ororo Munroe, Franklin Richards, Roxxi Smith, Jubilation Lee, Logan Howlett

Ororo Munroe has posed:
It's either incredibly early, or incredibly late, and that is all a matter of perspective. For someone like Anna Marie, it would be late, but for someone like Ororo Munroe, it's quite early.

Sunday mornings tend to hold a special sort of serenity and a solace and even a calm that is unmatched by the rest of the week. Before the flocks of the world have woken and shuffled their way into their houses of worship, and long before the fans of the football games, both versions, arrise they continue to dream of victory or tremble in defeated nightmares.

In a large mansion in Westchester, a woman has rearranged the furniture in the recreation room slightly, and plugged in an ancient VCR to the tv. Wearing bright spandex of pink and cyans, and a pair of leg warmers around her shins and ankles, Ororo is on the ground, her white hair tightly tied in a tail and tied again in on itself so she doesn't hurt herself.

Ororo has her left arm on the ground bent at the elbow and is holding herself up facing the tv and is doing a scissor exorcise lifting one leg up and then back down repeatedly, bending the knee and then rolling it up and then straightening it up in the air, and back down to match her supporting leg. Then does it all over again. She's got a sweat going for sure.

Franklin Richards has posed:
Franklin Richards tends to keep strange hours, but then, he's something of a strange young man. How could he be anything but, given who he is, what he is, what he's seen? He's stopped dying his hair black recently, cutting his hair short as the natural blonde grows back in, well-suited to his blue eyes, their azure intensity cutting through the world.

He has been allowed access to Xavier's and its grounds as a result of the friendship between his family and Professor Xavier. Franklin is a mutant himself, of course, although one already well-versed in the use of his abilities. He steps into the rec room wearing a blue tracksuit with the number 4 on the left breast, unzipped enough to show a white t-shirt underneath.

"I did not mean to intrude, ma'am," he says softly.

Roxxi Smith has posed:
Roxxi hunted for soda. The hour didn't matter much to her. She sauntered from the girl's dorms to the rec room. The blue-haired teen hadn't learned the layout of the grounds yet, but the rec room she knew. She followed a blonde boy in, humming tunelessly to herself.
Once in the room, Roxxi diverted to the soda bar. As she went, she pulled an argyle sock from her left hand, and carefully stung him through a belt loop. She glanced over her shoulder to spot the brightly clad woman at the T.V. and Franklin whom she'd followed in. She smiled brightly at both.

Ororo Munroe has posed:
Ororo has beads of sweat on her arms, and legs, and even her shoulders and face, but she doesn't seem to be sweaty enough from them to have dripped off her yet, no pools or puddles or even spots beneath her, but she has planned for that and has a towel down beneath her.

Not pausing a moment as Billy Banks continues to count on the TV even as the students enter behind and she rolls her head to face the ceiling and gets a glance of the two of them over of the corner of her eye.

"Good. Morning." Ororo says as she continues her work out and smiles before huffing a further response, "Don't. Worry. About it." She smiles and finishes, "Nothing. To. Interrupt." And then she looks back to the tv and continues to work out. Not minding the audience, should anyone be willing to watch.

Franklin Richards has posed:
Franklin Richards avers his eyes after a few moments. He feels osmething of a voyeur in the situation even if he is allowed to do so. He has been sheltered, has Franklin, and Ororo's frank comfort with herself only makes him even more aware of his own limited experience of the world.

He returns Roxxi's smile and makes his own way over to the bar, "I don't think I've seen one of these before," he says, perhaps grateful for the momentary distraction from Ororo, an extraordinary specimen of the species to anyone's eyes. He examines the bar carefully, "Almost old fashioned," he says. But then, most things are compared to the Baxter Building. "What would be good? I don't think I've ever had a soda."

Roxxi Smith has posed:
Fixated for a moment on Ororo, Roxxi watches the other woman's aerobic routine. "Oh wow, what is that?" She asks curiously. "I used to take karate, for a little while, at the Y. Is it kinda like?"
Once Franklin speaks however, Roxxi remembers what she's supposed to be doing. She pulls down two cups, and hands one to Franklin. "You've never had soda before?!" She asks in disbelief. She then turns back to the fountain and starts pouring a little bit of each flavor into her cup. "I like to mix them." She states with some authority. "But you might want to pick just one. Coke.. No, Root Beer, try Root Beer!"

Ororo Munroe has posed:
Ororo's breathing is a bit labored, but she is striving for that in that she's working out. She keeps her attention on Billy Banks and mirroring his movements and actions, as he's still counting. Three. Two. One!

She lowers her legs and shifts to stand back up fully and takes a fighters stance, and starts air jabbing at the TV in unison with the instructor.

"It's like, ... areobics and kick boxing in one." Ororo says huffing each breath and really putting in 100% effort into her work out. "It's not really useable in combat, trust me, but it's a great work out." She says, and surges through the routine further.

Franklin Richards has posed:
Franklin Richards smiles, "I think I may have had a sip of Dr. Pepper, once, when I was with some friends a few years ago," he says. "But I don't remember it very well, other than that it was very sweet. My father is a big believer in doing the right thing for your health and, of course, he thinks it most of all for his son," he says.

"My sister has probably had a lot of soda. But she's never been very obedient," he says. He glances over at Ororo's words and nods, "You seem extremely fit. I think it's working," he says.

Roxxi Smith has posed:
"They are all very sweet." Roxxi remarks to Franklin, in regards to the sodas. She steps away from the fountain and gestures towards the Root Beer dispenser. "It's sweet, but hmm, well, it's kinda like spicy but not, all at the same time."
She moves around the edge of the bar to take a seat on one of the stool. Listening to Ororo, she keeps her stool angled so she can talk to them both. At Fanklin's assessment of the other woman's fitness, Roxxi can only giggle.

Ororo Munroe has posed:
Standing, Ororo keeps jabbing at the air, in a quick one-two motion, before resting in a fists up stance, and bouncing on the balls of her feet. "Three. Two. One." Billy calls out and then starts to jog in place and every fifth step is a high kick, alternating the legs for kicking, and he starts at the count of Twenty and works down.

Ororo is huffing and dripping at this point, her skin where not covered by the spandex glows in the light of the tv and she doesn't seem to worry about it, though she still has the towel on the floor when she needs it.

"Thank. you. mister. Richards." Ororo says after each kick, still jogging rapidly in place.

Franklin Richards has posed:
Franklin Richards takes a sip from the root beer, cocking his head a bit after he gets his first taste of it. "That is very interesting. I'm not sure I like it, but I'm also not sure I don't like it," he says. "Guess I'll just have to drink more until I figure it out."

He flushes a bit as Ororo acknowledges his compliment and stands up a little straighter as he tries to push past his slightly awkward behavior, "I'm Franklin Richards, yes," he says, almost surprised that Ororo knows him and offering it up as a greeting to Roxxi.

Roxxi Smith has posed:
"Maybe we shoulda started you with Orange..." Roxxi muses aloud. She regards Franklin solemnly, then adds after his introduction, "Hi, I'm Roxxi!"
Green eyes shift between Ororo and Franklin, but Roxxi doesn't comment on his flush. Instead, she turns a bit more on her stool to better watch the other woman work out. Completely unabashed, she points out, "Wow, you are //really// sweating!" Roxxi then changes her superhero name to Captain Obvious.

Jubilation Lee has posed:
The heavy wooden doors of the recreation room part to allow a young woman entrance. She looks no older than eighteen or so, with long black hair that goes halfway down her back, smooth skin, and striking brown eyes. There's something unnerving about her beauty, almost unnatural. She comes in wearing clothing that suggests that she either wasn't planning for company or doesn't care -- a bright yellow tank top and a pair of daisy dukes. She moves with an unnatural grace, as though she was gliding across the floor on skates. Anyone looking at her feet would see that she's walking normally.

"I am not going to lie, Ororo, you have this whole 80s vibe going right now and it's awesome!" Jubilation announces. It's rather sudden, as she stood there for a few moments before making her assessments. Jubes lifts her Ray Bans off of her eyes and tucks them into her hair before anyone can cleverly point out that it's too dark out to be wearing sunglasses, inside or outside.

Jubilee tilts her head to the side to face Roxxi and Franklin. "So, you must be Roxxi," she declares, nodding her head at the girl with the sock puppet. Word travels. "And you must be... the new music teacher?" She seems less sure about that one, a finger pointing at Franklin.

Franklin Richards has posed:
Franklin Richards blinks as Jubilee points a finger at him, "No, I...I don't know anything about music. I'm Franklin Richards, I'm just...visiting," he says. "I don't go here, but I am a mutant, so I could've gone here, even though I didn't. Probably better if I didn't. My family attracts attention. And supervillains."

Of course, Franklin himself is a telepath, so reading Ororo's expression only makes him even more nervous a bit, taking a long drink of his root beer and then coughing as the sweetness is a little much for him. He bends over a bit to clear his throat, "Oh, that is...spicy. Yes. You're right about that," he says to Roxxi.

Ororo Munroe has posed:
"Don't. Be. So. Surprised." Ororo notes as she does another kick and then more jogging, even as Jubilation enters and the sodas are poured and mixed around her.

"I. Think. All. My. Vibes. Are. Awesome." Ororo says before she stops jogging and then bends over to pick up her towel off the floor and presses it to her face, and then her chin, neck, and shoulders and between the straps of her spandex unitard and then down her arms, and finally her legs. Drying off slightly before she saunters to the tv in her leg warmers and presses the rewind button on her VCR.

The Weather Witch is usually quite observant and she gives Franklin a look, but not giving him the words to the statement she knows he's thinking. Living with telepaths and being observant means you tend to not need to know what people are thinking to know whats to be read across their face. Doubly so when you know the person well enough.

Ororo gives Roxxi a look and a grin crosses her ebony face, "Thank you." She sighs, still catching her breath, "It's kind of the point, and it's something I think I need. Fit doesn't just, happen on accident." She says with a playful wink of her blue eyes.

Turning back to Jubilations, Ororo beings, "Miss Lee..." A hint of sorrow in her tone and a worried look crossing her features. Ororo warps the towel around her shoulders, and she allows herself a deep breath out of her nose as she looks to the young woman. "We haven't spoken in... too long."

Roxxi Smith has posed:
Roxxi just stares as Jubilation enters, the only thing more diverting than Ororo sweating up a... storm. The blue-haired teen watches as the darker-haired young woman glides across the floor and speaks with Ororo. Roxxi's jaw snaps shut however, when she is addressed. "Oh me? Yes, I'm Roxxi.."
As Ororo addresses Jubilation as 'Miss Lee' Roxxi brightens. "Ohhh, you're the vampire!" She asserts gracelessly. Obviously, she's already heard. At the talk about a new usic teacher, Roxxi quickly tacks on, "I think that's Ms. Mallick!" Very excited, but she manages not to spill her soda.
Roxxi glances over at Franklin, and reaches out to pat his back, "Definitely should have started you on Orange. Or maybe Sprite."

Jubilation Lee has posed:
"It feels like a lifetime, doesn't it?" Jubilee replies to Ororo, both eyebrows rising. A smile even forms. Whatever discomfort or sorrow Ororo might be feeling does not seem to be mirrored by Jubilation. She looks over her shoulder and watches Franklin busy himself with the soda fountain. It is difficult to resist it's siren song. She was called to it once, but not anymore. "Right," she agrees, shaking her head at her own ignorance. How could she not recognize Franklin Richards? Perhaps, months ago, she would have.

And then there's Roxxi. A new student would normally be a cause for great celebration, especially for Jubilation, but times are different and Roxxi just called her the v-word. Jubilation opens her mouth to protest, perhaps, to explain that she finds that word offensive, but no words come. She expands her chest with pointless air and lets it out in a demonstrative sigh.

"Please don't take this the wrong way," Jubilee tries. She's speaking slowly, carefully, as though each word needs to be handled precisely. "...But I don't think I'm allowed to talk to you." Pause. "I mean, take it the wrong way if you want to. You make your own decisions, just like everyone else, right?"

Jubilee lowers herself gracefully and perches on the arm of the couch that has been moved to the side. "Ororo," she begins. "I'm supposed to report to you and tell you something but my guess is that's not necessary, is it?" Her eyes study the teacher, watching for her reaction to that.

Ororo Munroe has posed:
Ororo's eyes widen at the word, and at first she was going to play it off as a joke, but no, Jubilations reaction, confirms more than Ororo would have even feared in her worst nightmares to be true.

The woman in the now outlandish and out of place pink and cyan spandex bends her knees to stand on them and look up into Jubilation's eyes.

The sight Ororo has and the feelings of the world around her are vivid and brighter than most anyone could imagine, and yet, around this girl, this woman she's been helping for so long, it's... faint, a memory, a ghost.

Ororo takes a deep, almost fearful breath, as she reaches her steady hand up to brush her thumb against Jubilaiton's cheek, if she'll let the teacher get so close. "H-how long?" Ororo chokes and then clears her thoart and is firm, a foundation for the school and those around her.

Logan Howlett has posed:
Logan had been doing his rounds, this is the act on the weekends of wandering the mansion to ensure nothing is missing, the students aren't getting into trouble, and that there were no new holes from random invasions from space. Toward the end of the route he would pass by the rec room, which is why he pauses at the door to peek in and notices a collection of people. The only one he doesn't know is Franklin, that alone is reason enough for him to step into the room and give it a sniff.

There was tension in the room, the smell of soda, the scents of Ororo working out, Jubilation being a vampire, Laxmi's perfume, and so many other scents that to most it might be overwhelming, but Logan was used to it.

Pausing just inside the door, he folds his arms across his chest to lean against the door itself. Seems Jubilation was finally doing as instructed.

Roxxi Smith has posed:
Roxxi deflates at Jubilation's reaction. Eyes squeeze together as she wracks her brain. "Oh, I did something wrong..." Nori had warned about something, but had it been not to other people about it? Or, perhaps it had been not to say anything around Jubilation. Now she wasn't sure. She pulled the sock puppet off her belt loop and slid it onto her left hand.
As the emotional scene evolved between Ororo and Jubilation, it was Roxi's turn to avert her eyes. A lot confused, and a little hurt, she stared at the bubbled surfacing in her sofa cup. Fortunately, Logan's timely arrival was enough to distract her. She looked up, smiling brightly. "Hi Logan!" Says Roxxi, now with Beast Blue hair. Real color, by Cairol.

Jubilation Lee has posed:
To anyone tuned in to emotional auras, Jubes gives off the aura of an apex predator chomping at the bit. A bloodthirsty monster being confined to a leash made of love, held tightly by the last remains of Jubilation Lee buried deep inside. There's no doubt traces of conflict inside her -- a continuous struggle as Jubilee wrestles with the beast that she has become. She returns Ororo's gaze, though her expression remains blank.

"How long?" Jubilee repeats. It's a difficult question. "I..." She lowers her eyes to the floor. "I'm not sure exactly. It's been... I don't know, weeks? Months? Y--" She doesn't keep going. She was going to say 'years' but stopped herself. It's only been a few weeks, in truth, but things have been foggy. Jubilee looks back at Ororo, not moving at all when the thumb goes across her cheek.

"It's okay, Ororo," she says softly. "I mean, I died, they say, but then I'm here." Jubilation tries to find some piece of her old self to share with her teacher. She tries to find a little bit of that spark. "...I mean...I couldn't miss my senior year, right?" Jubilation smiles at her joke, but it's a joyless one that's missing all of the sentiment.

Jubilee's eyebrows rise as she watches Roxxi's discomfort. "I swear, I don't think I'm supposed to be talking to you, but..." Jubes shrugs her shoulders. "...Fuck it. I'd rather get extra detention than make you think you did something wrong." Jubilation eyes the sock puppet briefly but her gaze returns to Roxxi. A hand comes up and blocks Roxxi from seeing her eyes.

"You didn't do anything, really. It's all good. So, like, I'm your RA, I think. Maybe not anymore, I don't know exactly. But, let me know if there's anything I can do to make your time here better," she manages, even nodding her head a little. "But, again, don't do it if you don't want to. Free will and all."

With that settled, Jubilee looks over her shoulder at the doorway. "Are you checking on me, Logan?" she accuses gently. "Because if you are, I totally just talked to the new girl, so, I guess that's another week?"

Ororo Munroe has posed:
That was the sense that Ororo was searching for, and was desperate to not find, but there it is. There's the truth of the legends, and the fears. The fears Ororo knows better than to let seep past her mind. "Jubilation..." Ororo says, her voice soft, but not weak, she strokes Jubilation's cheek beneath her eye. "Why didn't you come sooner?" Ororo asks, before looking past to Logan and then to Roxxi, briefly as the undead girl speaks to her.

Standing up and taking a strong breath, Ororo frowns, "I don't think you need to be worrying about detention much Jubilation, but you also, will be expected to finish your schooling." Ororo takes a moment to look towards Logan, for maybe she needs her own source of strength, "And I will help you with that, but I have obligations that I can't ignore..." Ororo swallows at something that was stuck in her throat, "I have to protect the other students and the faculty, and I have to protect Noriko..." She doesn't want to say it and for the first time, her hand shakes slightly in worry or fear or anger or any countless number of emotions, "We need to figure out a way to keep this school safe from you."

Logan Howlett has posed:
Although he is paying attention to what is happening between Ororo and Jubilation, he doesn't miss Roxxi's reaction to Jubilation's works. He offers Roxxi a half smile, half smirk, really it's the best he can do, and then nods to her.

"How you settling in kid?" He asks quietly, then adds even more quietly. "Don't worry too much about Jubilation's words right now, she's working through some things, obviously. Don't take it personal."

He turns his eyes more toward Jubilation, the smile half of the expression joining the smirk. "I'm always checking on you kid, it's what I do, but I didn't say don't talk to the students, I said be careful /how/ you talk to them. You got a way of giving orders in the way you word things, which those powers of yours equals trouble."

Now he is drawn to looking at Ororo and listens to her, the level of emotion showing in her body and words making one brow raise. "As far as I know, she hasn't attacked or drank from a single student, just the horse, and she's been like this at least what... three weeks? I have her RA keys, so there's no worry there, Ororo. I been watching her and the detention is between she and I, she knows why she has it and how long it lasts. I don't think there's a need to get too worked up, Jean certainly doesn't seem to have. We as teachers just have to keep an eye on Jubilation, and she has to agree to a few extra rules."

Roxxi Smith has posed:
Roxxi quiets for a moment. It's obvious that she's been reassured by everyone as she sits back on her stool, and sips her soda. She nods at Logan, confirming that she's settled in okay. "Oh I'm settled in great. I have my own room! I've never had my own room before." She quiets again, not wanting to interrupt the important interaction evolving between the three.

Jubilation Lee has posed:
"Because Illy will kill me," Jubilee answers, staring at Ororo and her sadness. The teen's own face remains like stone, even as she watches her teacher struggle with this, looking for answers. Illy is a reasonable thing for any vampire to be concerned about. As Ororo continues, Jubilation falls further back into herself, disappearing into that hollowness. Her expression becomes more empty.

"I know why I have it, but I do not agree with it," Jubilee adds, her eyebrows hiked. She gives Logan a look, one that suggests that they both know she doesn't agree with it, that it's a road they've already gone down, but she had to say it anyway.

Logan trying to step up to bat for her does not go unnoticed, but Ororo has said some things that are far more pressing. Jubilee slowly rises from her seat and lowers her sunglasses back over her eyes. They're dark enough to prevent any would-be victims from getting glamoured accidentally. She turns to look at Roxxi, but seems to be speaking to Ororo.

"Roxxi, I'm sorry we had to meet like this. And I'm sorry for the prejudice that being a mutant brings. Normally, Xavier's is free of prejudice but I guess not tonight," she says with a shrug. Jubilee moves away from the gathering and stops to look at Ororo again. "If you're so worried about protecting students, maybe you should have tried to protect me," she adds, clearly trying to drive that deep.

Ororo Munroe has posed:
Ororo stands back to her feet as Jubilation tries to defend herself, her actions, and her emotions, and even lashes out towards Ororo, and all the teachers, and Ororo, the motherly, caring woman she is, wears her heart on her sleeve for all the students and all the faculty here. This is her family. These are the people she has chosen to love and to protect.

Those words stab at her, and her mouth drops open in shock, but she doesn't recoil from them. She doesn't hide herself from the truths, or at least the pain of Jubilation's truths.

    It hurts.

It hurts to be told it's your fault.

It hurts to be left out of the loop, and when you feel you're doing the right thing, it hurts to be told you're wrong.

Ororo looks to Logan, her mouth closed and her jaw trembling with hurt, and the trees outside rustle heavily in a sudden wind, as clouds begin to roll in from the coast and the Storm threatens to pour.

Ororo forces herself to take a deep breath as she approaches Logan, and wanting a hug, to be vulnerable, she swallows that need for reassurance and turns her attention to Roxxi briefly, "I'm also sorry we had to meet this way, but give me a few minutes, and I'll be back and we can try again on the right foot."

A glance to Logan once more and Ororo needs to leave. She needs to unwind, or scream or cry, she doesn't know but she knows she needs to do it alone.

Logan Howlett has posed:
Although it's not usually Logan's nature to be a touchy-huggy person, in fact he was more the sort to keep people at arms length, but he was not a heartless man. He could see how Jubilation's words effected Ororo, just as he could see how Jubilation was effected.

"Hey Jubs, don't lash out like that, ain't called for. You broke the rules by leaving, don't blame us," he comments toward the departing teenager, even as he steps over and gives Ororo the hug she needs.

It may be a brief hug, he's not going to force her to stay, but he wraps one arm around her for a quick light hug, and whispers to his fellow teacher quiet enough only she can hear it. <Teenagers always lash out, Ororo, even ones turned into Vampires... don't take it to heart, let it blow over you.> No pun was intended, he noticed the change in the weather outside, he'd seen it before. Emotions effected the weather goddess in more ways than one.

Stepping back, he offers a smile to the woman, a real smile, though still it doesn't look fully right on his face. "I'm gonna stick around here, I'll keep an eye on things, Ororo, alright?"

Roxxi Smith has posed:
Roxxi perks as Jubilation addresses her again. She smiles brightly and waves since it seems the other young woman is making her departure. "Oh, but, I think it's neat." She says quickly but then looks between the two teachers. "Tell Noriko Hi.." She concludes with a second wave.
The wave of emotion roiling between the two women, obviously makes Roxxi a little uncomfortable. She squirms on her stool and unravels one of her buns to pull on her pigtail. As both Ororo and Jubilation make their apologies, she can only shake her head. "No, it's okay, honest. I'm not going anywhere." She averts her eyes again, focusing on her soda as Logan comforts Ororo.

Jubilation Lee has posed:
"Everyone thinks they know everything," Jubilee adds, still looking at Roxxi. "Sometimes they check, but lately it's just been a lot of this. When we both have time, I'll tell you the story about how I left the mansion to go to my summer job and died." She folds her arms across her chest, still doing a pretty good job keeping her emotions in check.

"One of the rules to be allowed to live here during the off-season is that we have to have summer jobs," Jubilee adds, still looking at Roxxi. This time, she seems to be talking to Logan, though. "So, if you ever overhear someone say that it's against the rules to leave to go to work, you can tell them that you know they're wrong."

She continues her weird glide-walk back to the doorway, apparently releasing Roxxi from her weird middle position in this argument. "Sorry, Roxxi," she adds, looking the newer student over. "Things are normally less...awful around here, I promise. You'll see. This place saved my life once, as I'm sure it will for you. Now, I need to go to sleep before... I just need to." And with that, she's gone.

Logan Howlett has posed:
Logan watches Ororo go out one door, then Jubilation goes out another. This wasn't going to end well, his gut reaction was this would be an issue for a while but would not end in a good way at all. Turning his attention back to Roxxi he offers another smile.

"Got your own room huh?" he asks with a chuckle. "Ya like it?" He moves over to the bar to get himself a soda, he' prefer a whiskey, but he lives in a school. "Got anything else ya might need now that you're here?" After a moment, still looking in the direction Jubilation went, he adds, "Under eighteen, ya get escorted. Eighteen or older, you don't require it, but it's strongly advised. No grounds to stand on, she choose to go alone. Any one of the teachers would have done with her, hell I woulda stayed for the summer to take a student to a summer job."

Roxxi Smith has posed:
Roxxi likely looks a lot like a dear trapped in the headlights. She resorts to the one tactic she has to fall back on. Smiling and nodding. However, her smile is uncomfortable and strained, as she's not sure how to respond to Jubiliee. "Um, okay, byee!" She says brightly, as that was the one part of the conversation she understood.
Roxxi returns her attention to Logan. "Um, yeah, no I mean, we don't need anything." She's still wearing Muffins, though she hasn't spoken to him. As Logan explains part of what Jubilation has said, she can only shrug weakly. "I am sorry everyone feels bad." Which, was the only thing she could think to say.

Logan Howlett has posed:
Logan gestures toward the soda, his way of asking if she wants one even as he fills a glass for himself.

"There's crazy shit everywhere kid," he offers simply. "Most of the time things are status quo around here, then something happens, like an alien invasion, or one of the students being turned into a vampire. You roll with the punches as they come in, come on...."

He offers her a huge grin now, which does not look right on his face at all, "You're a tumbler, I'll bet you roll better than anyone else here. Life's just like that."

Roxxi Smith has posed:
Roxxi grins. Logan's smile assures her. That alone should be a clue she has a few screws loose. "Oh yes, I'm really good at rolling with life." She declares. She also has a sock puppet as a constant companion, so there was that.
As to wanting a soda, she holds up her empty cup. She stands and moves to the other side of the bar to deal with it. "I should head back to my room." And likely admire it some more. She then throws her arms wide for a hug. Her intention is clear and easy to outmaneuver, however, if Logan's not yet at hugging comfort level. The blue-haired teen then makes her way out.

Logan Howlett has posed:
Logan studies her for a moment, and since he hugged Ororo earlier, he steps in and hugs her now. No, he's not huggy, but he has a weakness when it comes to the kids. He'll fake it to his death for them, and if that means hugging the blue haired girl, he'd hug her.

"Alright kid, you sleep well," he offers, then tussles her head. "I like the blue."
