Cast of Characters: Hope Summers, Michael Hannigan

Hope Summers has posed:
Hope Summers had been having trouble sleeping lately. She wasn't sure what it was about the old abandoned warehouse, but she knew something important happened here somewhere in the near future. If only she could remember what it was. Either way she had gone home that night, tossing and turning, trying to sort out her mixed up thoughts..What was it she needed to remember?

And then, suddenly she found herself back in that warehouse, not too far into the future this time, but it was a fairly familiar time. Oh she'd been all over time shifts, sometimes hundreds of years ahead, sometimes only a few decades. Once she was only a week ahead of current day. Which is where this dream takes place.

There are people coming here into this warehouse, hiding here. Immigrants, speaking different languages. Illegal immigrants. Some mysterious person had said they would be safe here, but were they really? She huddles in a corner as she watches them, trying to shake that uneasy feeling..

Michael Hannigan has posed:
It had been a quiet evening. Wade was off dealing with a session at the studio that's running long. With the roommate gone and Mike having a day off from filming and touring, he's just relaxing. There's not much on right now, and he isn't in the mood for reading tonight. He's supposed to be resting up for the impending leg of the tour that starts up soon so, what does that leave him?

Well, he may be a performer by trade but, it doesn't mean he gets to avoid practicing what he is at the core. Using the quiet of the condo, he is relaxing, eyes closed as he skims along dreams...Getting glimpses here and there. Not too long to be considered eavesdropping but just enough to practice his control.

And then there was the glimpse of people hiding. The musician's eyes open with a start. "The f-?"

Ok so that one was interesting. Closing his eyes, Settling back in, he closes his eyes once more, sifting through the dreams in that general direction to grasp on to that dream again. Maybe it's imagination. But... Perhaps another instance of that dream realm incident from awhile ago?

Hope Summers has posed:
"Shhh, be quiet, we have to wait and be patient. He said we just have to wait a bit longer." the tall Arabic man who speaks has a thick accent and appears to be so,e sort of leader as he walks among the anxious crowds. Hope stands out as a non obvious immigrant, and she crouches down further as he walks towards her.

"Hmm and who do we have here?" she shrinks back, not wanting to cause trouble, uncertain of how she might be received, or how dangerous these people might be. "You there miss, where are you from? I have not seen you here before.." he frowns staring down at her.

Well this is no good. And she doesn't have any weapons on her either. She shrugs, rising to her feet and glances around. Mutants. They're mutants. She can sense as much. This one is a powerful telepath. And he's reading her thoughts. "Huh? you're from the future? why are you here?" yes why is she...?

Michael Hannigan has posed:
It takes a bit but with the general location already known, Mike does eventually find the dream again. It has progressed a bit further. Maybe it's a normal dream?

But something seems off. Keeping his focus upon the dream, Mike slowly gets up from the sofa. The scar on the ponytailed man's lower right arm shifts over, moving to the left. When the view of the dream shifts to where none of the more active players are involved, his form shifts to that of a raven before he hops over.

In the warehouse, the bird flies up to the supports, finding a perch near Hope's discussion with the other man. The tail end of the conversation is interesting. Time travel dream?

Hope Summers has posed:
Hope Summers frowns and shrugs, "Why am I here..Hmm that's a good question, more important, why are *you* here? You're all clearly hiding from something or someone, and I know you're mutants, just like me." she hears a flutter of wings and peers up at the rafters. A raven...? But if this is a dream, doesn't everything have symbolic significance?

The telepath also peers upwards but frowns, "Can't read its mind, just a raven, nothing special. Still.." he frowns, he should be able to read animal minds too but. With a shrug he looks back to her, "If you know what we are, you know who we are. Are you our contact?"

At that moment there is a knock at the large double doors as they slowly creep open.."She's not but I am.." the voice is cold, cruel. An old man in a long black trench coat, accompanied by about ten men in bucket proof vests and armed with guns. They don't look like cops. They look like mercenaries. They look like they're here to kill, without mercy.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
The bird's head tilts as the stranger provides enough of a discussion to show that he is a telepath in this dream. And being that he can't read him...

The bird slowly looks down, looking directly at the telepath and then towards Hope. Ok. We got two possible Dreamers. If it's one on one, only one of them is. But if it is a shared dream then the people coming in might prove to be troubl-

Hope Summers has posed:
Hope Summers frowns, "A raven. A messenger, hey so are you trying to warn me of something?" oh those people maybe. "Ah..I remember, this headline about a week from now..Dammit. it was a set up wasn't it?" which means those people bursting in and aiming their guns at the mutants are.."Wait wait, if I die in my dream do I die for real?"

Michael Hannigan has posed:
The raven blinks, looking over to Hope. Ah so it's HER dream. And she's already lucid. "It varies." The raven states, "But if it's your dream you can do whatever the hell you want in it."

The bird's wings spread. "Well I'm not needed here so... Have fun." With a hop the bird flies off and vanishes.
