Location: Plain of Ranagar, Planet Rann
Synopsis: No Unicorn Kitties were harmed in the making of this episode.
Cast of Characters: Nadia Pym-van Dyne, Donna Troy, Kaida Connolly, Victor Stone

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
When we last left our intrepid adventurers on GIRL's maiden voyage into the stars, they had landed on the planet Rann, met Sardath, preeminent scientist of Ranagar, and his daughter Alanna, and helped to test his fledgling Zetabeam technology to transport some of their friends across the vast void of space to join them. But now, the true purpose of this space mission is at hand, the 'Unicorn Kitties' more formally known as Einthera await in the Plain of Ranagar out past the Aldavian Hills where the Pym Clan were first marooned on the planet.

While Caitlin is off further discussing Rann's lingering genetic woes from its nuclear armageddon with Sardath, Nadia and Alanna decide the time is right to venture into the Plain of Ranagar. Apparently the creatures can normally be quite difficult to find, being nocturnal and quite stealthy. Together they all make for the plains with the others in tow. What could go wrong?

While Alanna has her jetpack, since not everyone can fly the trip out of the city and through the hills is carried out on a hover skiff. It's not quite as spacious as the advanced all terrain vehicle that Sardath used to fetch them from the partially restored spaceport, but there are no wheels involved at all. A rocket of flame propels the rectangle just large enough for everyone to crowd on through the while Alanna steers it from the front with what looks like a high tech version of a scooter handle bar.

The trip takes them past the vast Lake Insalla, easily bigger than the city of Ranagar itself, and the smaller Lake Klaleen, past the outskirts of the Xybb Forest, and through the Aldavian Hills, until they finally crest the last of the hills and the mix of grassland and scrub that is the Plain of Ranagar unfolds before them.

Donna Troy has posed:
"Okay, listen up everyone," Donna says during the journey, her eyes looking out over the landscape unfolding around them. "These creatures are wild animals, and wild animals are hard to predict. Alien ones, doubly so. There are a few rules that are pretty much universal though. Act with confidence at all times, but do not act challengingly. If you make eye contact with one, break the eye contact, but break it casually and slowly, as if you just don't care. Do not approach one that is moving away from you. Do not approach a young one directly, or get closer to a young one than you are to an adult. Do not get between an adult and its young, or its food. And if you are charged, do not run. Rise up into the air out of reach instead. Kaida, stay with a flier."

She looks back at Alanna with a smile. "Alanna, you're our native guide so we'll follow your lead, but we are specialists in dealing with dangerous situations. I don't know what your experience is, but I would recommend that if things turn dangerous you get out of the way as quickly as possible and leave things to us."

Donna has her sword and shield with her, but it's her lasso that she has easily to hand. "Remember these aren't bad guys, they are wild animals. And probably endangered. If they do attack, we are going to try not to hurt them. Vic's sonic cannon will probably be able to drive them away, so we rely on that. If that fails, I'm probably best equipped to take one on at close quarters without injuring them."

Kaida Connolly has posed:
The trip is not crowded for some. For some, there's all the room in the world on the skiff. For some, there's a constant movement on the skiff to look this way and then that way and then sometimes jump off the skiff to run off to look at something with great alacrity before rejoining the skiff and pulling out some random thing that person found to compare it and determine edibility.

"This planet is so different and yet the poeple here are not!" Kaida declares as she looks over a strange small fruit she found, sniffing at it and spinning it around in her small paw like hands, before packing it away into a small bag and then running to the back of the skiff to look off of it and then under it again before running back to the front.

"How do you keep the propulsion system from igniting the ground as you fly? Could it not be dangerous to the flora and fauna?" Kaida asks from a spot next to Alanna and then turns to look ahead at something, her tail twitching as she considers another leap away.

Victor Stone has posed:
"Nobody tell Gar I'm going after the /Unicorn Kittens/," Vic grumbles as he sits watching the lake go by. "Wait, no, worse, don't let /Terry/ know what they look like, he'll insist Gar learn how to turn into one." He's not really as upset by the idea as he's making out to be, it's more that he really would enjoy poking at Rann's tech and maybe even finding something new to try plugging into his chassis. It's been a while! But he's a guest on this particular adventure, so he'll behave. Probably.

Not even a grumpy cyborg can be forever immune to the beauties of an alien planet, however. The view as they crest over the hills and look out over the Plain of Ranagar his eyes widen a bit. However /objectively/ beautiful it may or may not be, it's still an alien vista, and Vic isn't so jaded that he can't appreciate the sheer giddy /awesomeness/ of being on an /alien planet/.

He listens to Donna, though. nodding along with her rules. "Sonic cannon," he notes. "Got it." He makes sure all his other weaponry is on lockdown; easy enough to undo but he'd have to do so consciously. So he doesn't accidentally shoot a kitten. He's not immune to the lure of kittens, okay?

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia just grins as Donna goes over wild alien animal safety etiquette. "Donna, we got this. There is no team out there better equipped to study the Unicorn Kitties than GIRL. Kaida is an expert biologist and I'm not exactly ignorant of the field myself. We're young and daring, not completely irresponsible." In the past year and a half there have definitely been changes in Nadia, though in particular since founding GIRL, while it was at times an odd fit at first, in her own way she has grown into her role as the group's leader.

Alanna looks over her shoulder from stearing the skiff and nods to Donna. "I've trained with the Ranagar Explorer Corps, though my father would sooner drop dead than see me become part of the defense forces. We have been slowly rediscovering our planet since the great wars, much has changed. But the Plain of Ranagar should be relatively safe as the wilds go." She smiles at Kaida's question, we always fly at least a meter off the ground to ensure that we don't."

Nadia snickers for a moment at Vic's grumbling, "Don't worry Vic, I'm pretty sure I already told them about them after the last time I was here." Wait, that's supposed to /not/ worry him? Meanwhile Irie, too, gazes this way and that as the skiff zooms along, drinking in the scenery with rapt focus.

The plains zip by below them, scrub and patchy grassland eventually give way to a pond in the distance and gathered around that pond is what appear to be an entire pride of green tigers with purple stripes and majestic unicorn horns jutting from their foreheads. For the moment they seem to be drinking peacefully from the water.

Donna Troy has posed:
Donna smiles wide and puts an arm around Nadia's shoulders, giving her a quick one-armed hug. "You know how much faith I have in you guys, Nadia. But you scientist types sometimes need someone to stop the raptures of scientific discovery from distracting you from potential dangers, and that's my job."

"Besides," she adds as she steps away to look back over the edge of the skiff at the landscape passing behind, her smile widening turning into a grin. "You're family and I love you all too much to let some damn unicorn kitty eat anyone."

When the pride of Unicorn Kitties comes into view, Donna gives a nod to Alanna. "This is your party," she says. "But I'd recommend keep in sight at a bit of a distance for a while, let them get used to our presence. I'm going to take station a little higher up to get a good overview of the situation so I can give advanced warning if anything changes, or if there are any other groups of animals around that could make things a touch more complicated. I'll be on comms."

Donna has no jetpack, nor any visible means of providing thrust as Vic and Nadia do, so it might be a surprise to Alanna that she, as promised, takes to the air with nary a leap to aid her and drifts casually upwards until she has taken a position some fifty feet above the skiff.

Victor Stone has posed:
"That's not as reassuring as you think it is, Nadia," Vic replies drily. But before he has further opportunity to quip, there they are, the Einthera, the fabled unicorn kittens. He stares at them, green tigers with purple stripes. Unicorn horns.

"I take it back," he says. "It'd be /awesome/ if Gar could change into one of those."

Then he blinks at Donna, flying up into the air. "Who's got Kaida?" Well, that's partly up to her, where she perches.

Kaida Connolly has posed:
Before Donna can take off, she has a Kaida leaping into her face and flexing. Her voice takes on a very Macho and Manly sound for a brief moment as she does.

"I am the danger!" And then she lands and rushes back to the front of the skiff in time to see the things come into view and her tail goes stiff while her ears flick like satelite dishes across her head to zero in on the large cats. She practically vibrates as she points, "There they are!" She bounces along a rail from foot to foot before looking over to Nadia with a wide grin and then back to the kittens, "I'm gonna ride one! I'm so gonna ride one!" She laughs and claps her hands before she zips over to Alanna.

"So, are they known to be aggressive? Do you have any information about them I should know in advance? I need to know all the information so I can properly study them." She spins around and peers, "Pack animals or perhaps they have a social structure when it comes to a place to retrieve water. A hierarchy? Which ones are females and which ones are males?" She then pauses and then looks to Alanna.

"Are they only binary? They are an alien species!" She bounces and claps and makes some squeaking noises that might be thought of as gleeful though it is unclear.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Donna's hug is quickly returned, "That's fair." Nadia agrees, she cannot deny the strong truth of that statement. "I love you Donna!" When the Einthera come into view in the distance and the skiff slows, Nadia begins doing a final check of her suit before the bio-synthetic wings emerge from the metal plate at the center of her back, ready to fly. "Donna's right. We need to wait for them to notice us before rushing.. where's Irie?" Nadia looks this way and that, the crimson haired speedster is suddenly no longer on the skiff.

Alanna smiles at Kaida, decelerating the skiff to a crawl, so as not to spook the Einthera. "They are pack animals and apex carnivores. Typically they impale prey on their horn before tearing it apart. Some biologists who have tried to study them think they might be psychic in some ways. While they have been studied in the past to some extent, we are still learning more about them. From what we can tell in the surviving historical records they didn't exist before the great wars and arose in the aftermath due to the effects of Gamma radiation on wildlife."

Alanna nods to Donna at her suggestions. Though her eyes go wide for a moment when Donna begins to fly without a jetpack. The Pym family's methods of flight are not too unlike a jetpack, but this is something wholely new for a person to be doing without any sort of mechanical assist. "Wait, what?" She asks turning to Nadia, right about the point that Irie's vanishing is noticed.

Where did Irie go? Not quite able to contain her excitement, despite the warnings she has already crossed most of the distance to the Einthera pack, clearly confident in her speed to keep her safe, even as the animals begin to notice her and start turning in her direction.

"Irie! No wait!" Nadia cries out, but things are already in motion by the time they see her.

As if that weren't enough from Donna's vantage point high above she is able to see a quintet of shapes on the horizon to the north. Tiny black dots at first, but they seem to be getting larger like they are getting closer. It doesn't take long until they begin to look vaguely skiff-like in shape, approaching at high speed.

Donna Troy has posed:
Donna drifts upwards, grinning to herself with amusement at Kaida's antics. Kaida may be small but she has giant-sized courage, and the Amazon just adores that. If this means Kaida is a little prone to rushing headlong into dangerous situations -- well, Donna can hardly disapprove. That was her own reputation in the early days of the Titans after all, and if you listen to Raven you might think it was still her own habit too.

From her high vantage point, Donna quickly scans the ground around the skiff for any signs that the pride may have split in two and have scouts planning to sneak up on the skiff from the other side, but her attention is soon drawn to the approaching figures. She shields her eyes from the sun, watching a few moments before speaking into the comms.

"Alanna, we have what looks like five more skiffs approaching, still a minute or two out. Are there any potential hostile forces we should be aware of? Or might they be poachers?"

Amazon senses are superhumanly sharp, but not Kryptonian-sharp and it occurs to Donna that a bit more warning of what's incoming wouldn't be a bad idea. "Vic. Incoming north, maybe a hint of west. See what you can pick up on maximum zoom and send it to everyone's comm, please."

Victor Stone has posed:
Vic has jetpacks built into his body; his feet, specifically. He jumps off the skiff so there won't be any blast to rock it and powers the boots on well before he lands.

See? He /does/ have a rocket in his shoe!!

"Right," he says to Donna, snapping right into 'serious work' mode. "Can Rann tech do /this/?" Okay, maybe not /entirely/ 'serious,' when is he ever? Unless he's brooding.

He looks over at the approaching skiffs, focusing on them and zooming in his eyes.

"Airship-looking skiffs, larger versions of this one. More crudely fixed, kind of Mad Max style... sharp pointy bits, weapons stuck on." A pause, to zoom in further. "There are humanoids inside, maybe, uhh... mutated? They look like they're not here to have a picnic and watch the Unicorn Kitties, if you get my drift."

Kaida Connolly has posed:
"Psychic you say?" She nods and hmms and then hmms some more as she walks along the rail and then considers this. She then starts to take in the information that is being relayed to her by the others and then nods before very suddenly she is gone. She's not Irie fast but she has two advantages on others. She's nearly got the speed of sound beaten when she wants to, and she's very tiny.

Within moments she is on the head of the largest seemingly Unicorn Kitty and she's closing her eyes. She then begins to relay the image and idea of what these things that are coming in her mind. She at least thinks she is. They may be psychic, they may not be but she's not going to let the Unicorn Kitties go without warning. She stares in the direction of the incoming skiffs from atop the kitty's head but she's hopefully not gonna let these creatures get ambushed.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Just as Victor said, the five Mad Max-ian looking crudely put together 'battle skiffs' come more and more into view. Their approach is heading straight for the pond where the Einthera had been drinking and eating strange purple and blue squid-like creatures they've been pulling from the waters. Within the battle skiffs are what can only be described as heavily mutated humans, mishapen features, variable numbers of eyes and limbs, and an eclectic mix of weaponry ranging from what look like basic spears all the way up to crudely maintained Rannian energy weapons.

At Donna's warning, Alanna turns her attention towards the horizon "Oh no!" Alanna shouts, "Raiders from the ruins of Zared, this is bad. We should get out of here! They'll kill and eat us as soon as they would the Einthera!"

"Irie! Get back! Oh no, Kaida!" Nadia calls out, now flying towards the Eithera pride. Heavy is the burden of being the leader and trying to be responsible.

Irie zips up to try and pet the nearest of the Einthera, which at first seems to be going kind of well. "This is so cool! Unicorn Kitties!" Until the large Einthera turns and swipes a huge clawed paw her before another attempts to impale her on its horn. Thankfully being a speedster, she is not there by the time the blows arrive but standing a good several meters away.

Kaida's foray among the unicorn kitties fairs similarly as a few moments after she mounts the head of the leader of the pack, it shakes its head violently attempting to dislodge whatever is atop and then roars. The roar echoes and rattles through the minds of those who hear it seeming to vibrate violently into the recesses of the mind, leaving those with unprotected minds stunned for a few moments afterward, there might be something to this psychic kitty thing after all.

As the Unicorn Kitty situation goes from bad to worse, things become even more complicated when an energy blast from one of the approaching skiff hits the ground in the midst of the creatures leaving a spot of scorched earth behind. One of the mutants apparently has some manner of sniper raygun.

Donna Troy has posed:
"Irie, Kaida, get back to the skiff /now/," Donna's voice barks out over the comms. "At least until it's clear what's going on here. Lets keep their attention away from the unicorn kitties, okay? Give them a chance to get out of here. Vic, get ready to throw up a shield if they start firing on the skiff."

Donna's not following her own instructions though. Rather than descending to join the rest on the skiff, she drifts higher, and starts to move forwards in the direction of the oncoming skiffs. "Alanna, can you give us a real quick background on who and what these raiders are? Good to know what we're dealing with. But give it a moment, it's about to get really noisy here."

She unslings her lasso, readying it between her hands, where the rope starts to glimmer with a magical golden glow, and continues to approach the skiffs, eyes focused on them to watch for muzzle flashes, arms ready to do a bracer deflect on anything fired her way. Then she starts to accelerate suddenly, hitting the sound barrier with a rattling boom that echoes across then plains of Rann just as she flies over the top of the Raiders' skiffs.

Victor Stone has posed:
Vic hovers himself over to be between the skiff and the poachers, readying a shield to throw up the instant there's a muzzle flash. "You want me to use the sonic cannon to--" Well, if Donna's sonic boom didn't scatter the Einthera...

He grins at his teammate. "/Booyah/!" he shouts, because this is a moment for catchphrases.

Kaida Connolly has posed:
And then Kaida goes flying and flips in the air only to land and hear a massive roar. She flails as her senses are particular attuned to sound so even if there wasn't a psychic element to this, her mind would get rocked by the overload of sound. Tigers, at least hte ones on Earth, can actually stun people with their roars even without psychic powers. She falls over, eyes rolling this way and that. Luckily, she falls over in tall grass.

"Loud kitty, soft kitty, roar roar roar." She mumbles out into the comms as she lays there twitching. She apparently is a wee bit out of it at the moment.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
The raiders continue to bear down on the pond, initially set on hunting the Einthera for meat, the skiff from Ranagar and its occupants present an event rarer prize.

As Donna flies above the battle skiffs all manner of fire comes her way, there are raygun beams, plasma bolts, arrows, javelins, and even a few large rocks in the mix as the raiders seem to arm themselves with whatever they can get their hands on. The sonic boom causes them to scatter though, breaking their loose formation. One of the skiffs begins emitting large amounts of smoke and losing altitude as the sonic attack appears to have shaken loose something vital within its patchwork hull.

"They come from the ruins of a place called Zared," Alanna tells Donna over the comms. "It used to be Ranagar's sister city until the war. The nuclear armageddon began as a conflict between Ranagar and Zared over Lake Insalla and its resources. After the holocaust Zared was left in ruins, from what the Scouting Corps has gathered survivors were heavily mutated by the radiation. Their society never recovered beyond groups of savage scavengers. They scrounge whatever they can and eat whatever they can. They're incredibly dangerous and best avoided." With four skiffs still coming in fast Alanna activates her jetpack and draws two raygun pistols straight out of pulp sci-fi as she rises into the air to cover everyone while they regroup.

Irie is left blinking for a moment but thankfully her mind recovers at superspeed and she is able to shake off the stun before she's in any real danger. She manages to get one last bit of petting in before she zooms over to scoop up Kaida, "Time to go! Thanks Unicorn Kitties! Love you, bye!" and zip back towards the skiff.

The Einthera for their part, already spooked by the energy blast are sent into a full retreat by Donna's sonic boom. Vic's sonic cannon is the icing on the cake as the majestic creatures decide to retreat somewhere less full of horrible noise and so many interlopers.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Once Nadia sees Irie has Kaida in hand and the Einthera are in full retreat, she relaxes slightly. "One day, one I will get to pet you." She says mostly to herself inside of her helmet. There will be other chances though and there are still those raiders to worry about.

Rising up into the air Nadia flies after Donna as she engages the approaching skiffs, returning fire with a couple bolts of energy from her gauntlets. "We should buy the unicorn kitties a bit more time to escape and then get out of here ourselves ...if they'll let us." Indeed, Alanna, her skiff, and the visitors present a far greater prize to the raiders than the Einthera they had been hunting.

Donna Troy has posed:
'Incredibly dangerous and best avoided' is not a sentence that makes a lot of sense to an Amazon. Danger is something you go towards, not away from.

That's not to say that Donna has any intention of inflicting any great harm on the mutant Rannians -obviously they've suffered enough. However Donna doesn't really want the raiders attempting to decide that Alanna's skiff is a good target for their hunt, so it seems to her that the best option here is to give the raiders enough of a scare that they follow the lead of the einthera and retreat too. "Let's give them a scare, but try not actually killing anyone okay?" she announces over comms. "Target the four skiffs still incoming. One skiff each. Left to right, Alanna, Vic, Nadia, me. Keep plenty of distance between each other, no bunching up. Those vehicles look in poor condition, shouldn't take too much damage to put them out of operation."

As she's speaking, Donna continues flying at high speed through the air, relying on that speed plus a bit of dodging to avoid the incoming fire aimed at her direction. She flies in wide arc past the skiffs, taking the opportunity to scout a little way ahead to see if there are any more skiffs coming from the same direction before sweeping back around to close in on her own target from low level.

The fire aimed in her direction is little to worry about until she's quite close again, and she straightens in the air to raise her arms up into a defensive posture, deflecting some incoming blaster fire with her bracers as she goes. When she's thirty feet away a javelin is thrown at her, which she catches out of the air and keeps hold of. When she's ten feet away she hurls the javelin into the side of the vehicle so hard it embeds half its length into the metal of the vehicle's side. When she's five feet away she throws a loop of her lasso around the end of the javelin and swoops down underneath the skiff. She lets the rope play out for a few feet before coming to a halt and heaving the lasso around with a hard yank to swing the back of the skiff around and set it spinning.

Victor Stone has posed:
After making sure the "unicorn kitties" have run off, Vic focuses his eyes on the skiff he was assigned--second from the left. He flies closer, to get within range, and aims the sonic cannon at them. It's set to be a wave that will spin the skiff, send it tumbling the way Donna did.

    Ready... aim... fire!

There's the low /boom/ of the sonic cannon and then his targeted skiff goes tumbling, the shockwave sending it in circles back the way it came and hopefully not hurting anyone too much.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
The Zaredian mutant raiders had prepared to hunt Einthera. Then they thought they might attack some weak soft residents of Ranagar. They never counted on anything like an Amazon. Donna's attacks throw her battle skiff into chaos as they begin bickering among themselves with none able to hit her at all. Then the javelin is caught, that seems like a bad sign. Then there is the thunk as it is imbedded into the hull. Black smoke begins to rise from the impact point but the ship seems to at least stay in the air. ...until the entire world begins to spin and the ship is sent hurtling in circles towards distant ground below, a second plume of smoke rising up a ways away similar to the one from the ship taken out by the sonic boom.

As a member of the Explorer Corps, Alanna has received some combat training because you never know what you'll find out there but was never permitted by Sardath to join the city's defense forces. That doesn't mean she didn't want to though! "Okay! Just don't tell my father."

Zipping up into the air, Alanna is surprisingly nimble and adept at controlling that jetpack which seems significantly more advanced in its propulsion technology and capabilities than any similar devices currently available on Earth, allowing her to weave through the incoming fire from the raiders. Bright beams of energy lance out across the underside of her skiff's hull from her pair of Rannian raygun pistols and as she zips by underneath she turns to fire another blast right into the flaming booster keeping them aloft on the back. There is a small internal explosion and a whole lot of smoke as skiff number three joins skiffs one and two crashing in the distance and sending up yet another plume of black smoke.

Vic's sonic cannon creates the worst sort of turbulence for skiff number four as it is rocked from all sides by low grade sonic booms forcing it into a cyclonic downward spin. The mutant raiders on board do their very best to stabilize the spinning skiff but even on a good day they are not the most skilled of elite pilots and keeping the craft level becomes a fool's errand. Ultimately it too joins skiffs one through three in crashing and sending up a plume of smoke.

Not to be outdone, Nadia seems to disappear from sight. In reality though she just becomes very very small, avoiding the oncoming fire Waspette style. Zipping up to her target she withdraws handfulls of her favorite sticky bombs from the pockets of her suit and liberally throws them all over the underside of the skiff, where they return to their normal size before detonating in a fiery pyrotechnic lightshow. The skiff somehow manages to hold together its structural integrity for the moment but rapidly loses altitude as it sails into the distance trailing smoke and fire and ultimately creating a fifth far off column of smoke rising into the sky.

"That was so cool!" Alanna exclaims when everyone makes it back to her sky skiff, in the first truly genuine teenager reaction anyone has seen from her so far. "We actually beat them!" Then she pauses like a realiztion is dawning on her. "Uh, we should go. Now. Before more come to investigate those columns of smoke." She notes stepping towards the scooter-like crossbar steering mechanism and setting the skiff on to a course back towards the safety of Ranagar.

Donna Troy has posed:
Donna does not hesitate once the skiff is sent hurtling away -- she actually goes chasing after it and scoops the panicking occupants out with her lasso, depositing them on the ground with a relatively short and survivable drop at no great speed rather than leaving them to crash in their vessel.

She doesn't stop there, and also goes after the skiff that Alanna had shot from the sky. She reasons that the skiffs Nadia and Victor had taken out were under some semblance of control and had a good chance of a survivable crash landing, but with an exploding thruster Alanna's target seemed doomed. There's no fancy lasso work this time -- Donna flies at speed towards it, ducks beneath the crashing vehicle and rises up from below at the front to catch it up out of the air. She fights the vehicle's forward momentum for a few moments until it's falling more than flying, then catching it up from below she flies it close to the ground, and tips it over to empty out the occupants. Finally she spins it around and around before letting it go to crash into the ground in a heap.

Much of which may remain unseen by the others, but she's soon flying back from a column of smoke to join the others on the skiff. Returning her lasso to her belt and grinning a fiery grin that's so familiar to the Titans from whenever she's just had the opportunity for a good fight, she gives a nod to Alanna. "If they have any sense at all they won't come pursuing the people who just eliminated four of their skiffs with so little problem, but... yeah. The unicorn kitties have gone, so there's not a whole lot of point to us hanging around provocatively. Irie got to pat one and Kaida got to ride one, so succesful trip."

"Good work everyone," she says to the rest. "Quick, clean, no fuss, no wounded. Titans together, even on other worlds!"

Victor Stone has posed:
Vic grins at Donna in return as he, too joins them on the skiff. "Awesome work, yeah," he says as he lands. No need for shields this time, thankfully.

He indicates Alanna. "Does this make her an honorary Titan, Donna?" His grin widens. "I know maybe her father won't approve, but that was some /damn/ fine work just now."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
"Yeah!" Nadia agrees with a cheer, "When GIRLs Gather and Titans are Together! We can do anything!" She watches the unicorn kitties disappear into the distance as the skiff takes off. Someday, she tells herself, she will get her chance to hug one. But in the end that they are safe is the important thing.

"That was so cool! Can we do it again?!" Irie asks still holding the somewhat shellshocked Kaida.

Alanna gives a little laugh and shakes her head. "Hopefully we won't be running into any more raiders. Let's let the unicorn kitties rest for now." Victor's comment causes her to freeze up for a moment with some rapid shaking of her head back and forth, followed by some rapid nodding when he mentions her father not approving. "He would kill me! He can't find out about any of this! It was just a nice sedate expedition we saw the Einthera, it was good, no complications, end of story. Okay?!" She asks looking over her shoulder at everyone.

Donna Troy has posed:
Donna replies to Victor with an even wider grin and an eager nod of her head. "Oh absolutely," she concurs. She turns to look at Alanna with a playful smirk, standing beside Vic. "She did a great job, honorary Titan for sure. Who knows, maybe by the next time we visit she'll have founded the Titans Rann branch for us."

Oh Vic and Donna, what have you done?
