Hercules has posed:
Past the gates and through the doors, no meer guardsmen is a match for the ever affable and charismatic=

     HERCULES
    MIGHTIEST SON OF OLYMPUS

"Ho, Friend Thor! Harken to the call of the Lion of Olympus, you great, blonde roust about!" came the warm, bellowed call of the Lion of Olympus as he entered, both doors flung wide because he is exactly the sort of soul that would fling wide double doors even if they had that little divider thing between them just for the effect!

Thor has posed:
What is this, some mortal building? Who puts a divider between doors? They're MEANT to be swung open brashly. Thor, for his part, is sitting at the bar of his Embassy, finishing off...some number of beer for the night. The God of Thunder looks up as he hears Hercules' bellow, and then calls back, "I thought Zeus had you locked away for all time in a prison on Mount Olympus. Am I mistaken?" he asks, standing up from his chair to greet his friend.

Hercules has posed:
"Indeed I was, my friend! "Shackled by adamantine chaines and beneath the scornful eyes of the Furies themselves was I held but even so cold a heart as theirs cannot withstand the charms of Hercules!" he proclaimed as he advanced on the Asgardian, arms flung wide in imminent threat of a powerful embrace!

"Sufficed to say, I am out on good behavior that I might again be a boon to the mortal realms! But enough of my amazing and daring exploits! What of yours, good friend?"

Thor has posed:
Thor raises his eyebrows at that list of accomplishments, and then holds up his half drunk tankard and says, "I've drunk this Embassy out of beer for the last month straight." He is totally bragging. He then motions to the bartender and says, "A drink for Hercules, Demigod of Olympus!" He finishes off his own, and slams the tankard onto the ground, where it crumples with a thud, "And another for Thor Odinson, God of Thunder!"

The Asgardian bartender rolls his eyes, but then goes about dutifully filling two glasses with drink.

Hercules has posed:
All good tales are due their embellishments, it is their shared right as gods but Hercules (Prince of Power) did not doubt even a single word of Thor's tale. "A tragedy for the ages, pity these mortal men their finite supply of drink that their barrels should be drained dry this night by not only the Odinson but the Scion of Zeus as well!" the hug was delayed. In its place, Hercules clapped his friend on the shoulder, steering him back to his stool.

"To what do we drink o'compatriot mine? What has seen you so well into your cups?"

Thor has posed:
Thor is, if nothing, a creature unto himself. He completely misses that Hercules wanted to do a bro-hug, and as he takes up his drink, he considers for a moment Hercules' question, before he declares, "To the protection of Midgard!" A clank -- which spills a fair amount of beer out of both tankards, and then he's chugging away as if his life depended on it.

Hercules has posed:
Hercules smiled, warm and bright, "Aye then, to Midgard!" it was a cheer to his toast as the glasses met before the Prince of Power brought the glass to his lips and turned its bottom towards the sky, draining it it dry in a series of heavy gulps.

And so, Odinson and Scion of Olympus did drink the bar dry... and probably wrestled, but that is a story for another time!
