Planning the Rainbow Revenge

Synopsis:	Harper discusses ideas of how to handle the gang that's been bothering her brother with two of the OG Outsiders.

Harper Row has posed:
After sending a message to the outsiders this morning Harper went to work as normal. Midway though the day, a message comes into her comm device - which she kept in her back pocket just in case - she gets a private message back from Impulse asking her where and when she wanted to meet. During her lunch break she replied with "Roost? Around 6pm?"

After work, having gotten an acknowledgement to her reply she left work and after reaching Chelsea she left the Gotham tram, found a private location and changed into her costume and proceeded to the Outsiders' base where an alert has been sent to the team members letting them all know that someone out of the know for secret identities will be on site this evening.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen would have made sure others knew she was coming, and set up the area with some snacks and drinks. He sits there trying to look patient. With his glasses he has been working on this and only looks like he could run around the room a few times instead of the city. He has a folder with him, he was looking through earlier but it is setting on a table beside him now.

Conner Kent has posed:
Conner got the message and flew to Gotham after his college classes ended. Currently enjoying Bart's snacks and watching Bart trying to look patient. What? It is amusing. "Looks like Tim is going to be busy most of the afternoon," he comments, glancing to his cell. "Pretty sure he has been keeping tabs on Harper, but he didn't tell me anything."

Harper Row has posed:
With her hair up in its fauxhawk, purple prominent with blue highlights, and her distinctive blue armored costume including a mask shaped in a way reminescent of outswpt birds' wings. The doors of the Roost open for her... she wasn't sure though as anyone watching her approach would have known by her hesitation at it... and she heads upstairs towards the meeting area on the second floor. (She did apparently have some time to check out the base during her fabrication on the 29th of September!)

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen looks over to Conner, and says "So, you have any clue, what, she needs help with?" He asks his friend. "Yea, wonder where he gets that from?" He jokes a bit and says "Oh yea, your Gem World friend is gathering a rebel alliance to help her fix her home."

Conner Kent has posed:
"No, but I think I heard her downstairs," Conner goes to check, "hey, Bluebird, we are up here," beat, "hurry up or Bart will eat all the snacks." He has nothing else to comment about Amethyst. He has not seen her since the hospital visit. It is good she has found heroes to help her, though. Did he mention her to ask the League? Now he is not sure.

Harper Row has posed:
Approaching the area the guys are set up in, Bluebird smiles and unslings the rifle strapped arcoss her back so she can lay it on the table next to the chair she's claiming. "Hey there Impulse, Superboy," she says to the pair as she looks over the spread Bart's laid out on the table.

"Thanks for meeting with me," she says as she grabs a drink - something non-alcoholic, likely a fruit juice or fruit-flavored soda. After taking a sip she says, "I don't know how much about me you both know," looking mostly at Impulse as she says this. Testing her assumptions about Superboy she subvocalizes, "Does he know about my brother and who I am?" hoping that Conner might be able to hear the barely voiced words.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen makes a soso motion with his hand and says "In some ways more than anyone else probably does, but no so much on the personal details." He tells her. The snacks and drinks are from around the world, there is even some strawberry soda. He offers her a bag of some odd chips. "But if you need help will do what we can to help."

Conner Kent has posed:
"No problem, Blue," offers the dark-haired boy. "Oh, my real name is Conner, in as much as I have one." A small shrug at the questions about Bart. "What have you been up to? I mean, yeah. If you need help or more time in the labs, I am sure we can figure out something."

Harper Row has posed:
"Actually, it is help I'm looking for," Bluebird says as she grabs some sort of confectionery (cinnamon roll!). She nods to Conner also to acknowledge his introduction. "So, I guess if we are doing first names and also with the topic of discussion I should do the same." She removes her mask and lays it on top of the gun. "I'm Harper and if you didn't know that Impulse you may as well because ... well, this involves my brother. Not sure if either of you were aware bot there's a gang of homophobes bothering people in the Narrows and they've targeted my brother. I've been tracking them with a worm and think I have enough of them identified to allow me to do something about them finally."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen hmms and nods his head a bit to this. He will simply say "Bart." to introduce himself and then listens to the rest of the conversation "So, what can we do to help?" He asks not quite sure what she would want them to do. He seems to hink of a few things counting them off on his finger shaking his head.

Conner Kent has posed:
"A... worm," it takes Conner a few seconds to realize the kind of worm Harper means. Right. "Gangs of thugs are very common in Gotham, we can go to beat them up if you want, but I am not sure if that is a long term solution. Maybe we can spy on them and find out if some are into crimes the cops can't ignore?"

His long term solution would be 'leave Gotham' but Gothamites are SO stubborn.

Harper Row has posed:
Harper shakes her head at the suggestion of beating them up. "That's... no, that's not a long term solution," she says. After a bite of the roll she explains further. "I have something more... creative in mind. The ones I've tracked down... and any others who can be corralled at the same location need a military style shave and a bright rainbow dying of the hair. It'd be great if I could cook up a dye that seeps into the follicle for a time. Then let their own kind take care of them for a while."

Leaving Gotham... wouldn't be an answer either but there are thoughts about getting Cullen out of the city. This is not discussed but the thoughts are there.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen looks over and says "Um, so you think they will beat up their own just cause someone dyed there hair? I mean if they know them already would that change anything, and couldn't they just shave their head. I shaved my head once trying to help separate Public Id from Secret Id but it did not help." Yea Impulse wore opened top costume them. If you were going to do something like that tattoos would last longer, but still not sure how it would help.

Conner Kent has posed:
"I am not sure a severe humiliation is more effective than a beating," offers Conner, considering the ideas. "This kind of thing has no easy solution. Maybe send them into another, hellish, dimension. Kryptonians used to do that. It wasn't very nice either."

You can't beat the racism out of a racist, or can you? "Batman would just terrify the hell out of them. We can try that too, I guess."

Harper Row has posed:
"I kind of meant that where there's one group of homophobes there can be others... but yeah, maybe we should do more than just that," Harper replies, accepting the criticism of her ideas with an open mind. "I guess beating them senseless would be an option for incapacitating them for the purpose of the shave and a hair dye portion of the plan also..." She grins as she says this, its obviously something she's really set on as part of her plan of action.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen looks over and says "I really don't understand homophobia, I mean where I come from it doesn't mater guys, girls, how many and what combination. If they want to be together good for them, and if they want kids, and can't do it the old fashion way, take some DNA from all sources and mix it together and you got a kid. Folks with two moms, two dads, three moms and two dads, what ever." He hmms a bit "Maybe we can get proof of what they have done and get them arrested?"

Conner Kent has posed:
"We are still a few decades from that, Bart," comments Conner. It is nice to know at some point in the future the problem will be solved, but it doesn't help much now. "Well, if you want to do it, I will help," he is not going to say no to giving bullies a taste of their own medicine. Even if it doesn't work as a long term solution. Short term is okay, too.

Harper Row has posed:
Harper just stares at Bart as he describes what sounds like a social utopia to her. And then Conner makes his comment and she looks back and forth between the two of them before she asks Bart, "You're from a when not a where then?" She thumbs up Connor's comment and then says, "Heck, I might be able to get proof just though the back doors onto their phones. Maybe they're the type to collect trophy videos." She follows this up with a smile and a, "Nice suggestion, Bart," to the speedster.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods, and says "Yea, I'm from the 31st century " He explains a bit of when he is from. "I mean, I could go in there and dress them all in Drag and leave their heads spinning, but again don't see how that would change them, except make them hate more."

Conner Kent has posed:
"Sorry, we give terrible advice," adds Conner with a smirk. "Robin is the guy with the good ideas, but we will help with whatever you want to do. Uh, just don't tell Batman we have been using hour powers in Gotham, he doesn't like that much. I still can't imagine how Robin managed to convince him to set our base here."

Harper Row has posed:
Harper finishes another bite of the cinnamon roll and nods to Conner. "Per Batman I'm not to trust him or anyone else. I have no problems keeping these facts from him as long as you are using your powers for the good of the people of Gotham." ("OMG, girl, that sounds conceited!" Harper thinks to herself.) Then, to Bart, she asks, "So I guess INXS has nothing on you what with it being Thirty-First century yesterday for you, right?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen 's brow raises a bit and asks "INXS?" He has learned some references here but not all. "We can always do what I did in a fight where I helped some others. Flashlight, Batman action figure and never let them see what actually hit them."

Conner Kent has posed:
"Somehow I think that is even worse, Bartman," this time the nickname fits particularly well. He sits down again and reaches for a soda can. "I have something, if you can find the names of those guys we can run them through the data base and see if any of them has committed serious crimes. That might give us more ideas."

Harper Row has posed:
Harper, when Bart drops his action figure line, chuckled and feels its safe to take a drink. Oh was she wrong. Conner drops his Bartman line and she snorts. And oh, that soda tries to come out... of her nose. It doesn't but that doesn't prevent the sinus burn from happening.

"Ouch! That... wow, you guys should go on the commedy circuit," Harper says as she's recovering from the mildly painful laugh.

"So, you guys are in. Awesome! But you feel I should discuss this with Robin before putting it into action, right?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods a bit and says "It would not hurt, at least give him a rough idea of what's going on." He hmms a bit and says "Does your brother need someone to keep an eye out for him? How old is he, I work here in Gotham, so if I see something maybe I can help as Bart, not Impulse."

Conner Kent has posed:
Weeeeeeell. They don't always tell everything to Robin, but maybe they shouldn't give Harper bad example, particularly if she wants to join the team. "He will probably try to talk you out of some of the more original ideas we had." Original, read harebrained. "But hey, your decision."

Harper Row has posed:
"Cullen's seventeen. I've actually been considering options that would get him out of the Narrows also but..." Harper trails off as she considers Bart's offer which she nods about as well as nodding to Conner about Robin. "He's not that bad is he?" she asks about Red Robin thinking about their shared shadowy mentor as she speaks.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen shakes his head and says "Rob's the best, but he is also one of the smartest people you will meat, and often he sees how things may turn out when we don't . Rob's the smart one, SB here is the tough one, and I'm the goofy one." He explains.

Conner Kent has posed:
"He is great," agrees Conner. "For most things," he clarifies. Because Robin doesn't believe in vacations, having fun at parties and needs to be dragged kicking and screaming to have a good time. "But yeah, he is good at making plans and crime-fighting, and tech stuff. We let him do most of the thinking."
