Nanana Caveroom

Location:	Level 4 - Dorms - The Roost
Synopsis:	Bart finds Cassandra dragging her furniture out of her new room. They redecorate together! Now it looks like a jungle gym.

Cassandra Cain has posed:
The sound of dragging furniture would draw attention. With Tim running the D&D game in another part of the Roost, Cass picks this moment to do some...rearranging.

The horrible screech of heavy furniture being dragged is soooo audible. She yanks the bed with both hands into the hallway, then kicks it over with a crash. It takes all of a minute to accomplish, and she may have taken the trim off of her door in the process, but she dusts her hands off as if accomplishing something, and nods.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will comes out to check whats going on. Bart aint really got the attention for table top games. Maybe occasionally but not full time. He will come into the hallway and blinks at the bed "Um, everything ok?" He will ask her as he looks her and the bed over.

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Glancing at Bart, Cass does what she usually does. Nothing. She's not a talker, having not really spoken a word in their entire association.

She does however incline her head toward her room, then turn and walk back inside. Leaving the bed in the hallway where it's in everybody else's way.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will blink a moment, but climbs over the bed to head towards her room. He has a jumbo slushy with him, and he is careful not to spill it. Once he has made it over the bed, he will ask "You wanting a different bed? Maybe I can help you with it, if you need some help."

Cassandra Cain has posed:
The room looks oddly empty without a bed in it. There's a desk, a small table, and someplace to store clothing. And a chair. Cass is in the process of picking up the chair when Bart makes his way inside. She tosses it out the door with the bed, then proceeds to say nothing.

"Cave," someone says. Wait, did Cass just..did she speak? She so spoke, she said a whole word! Then she's looking at the desk as if deciding whether to keep it or not.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen blinks and luckily she spoke after she threw the chair or he might have gotten hit by it himself. Bart looks about the room, and says "Cave? you wanting this to be like the Cassy-Cave, like the Batcave? " He asks trying to figure it out.

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Her thumbs-up is immediate and easily understood; Cass doesn't like the decor, and wants it to be more...something. Gloomy perhaps. She walks over and starts to test the desk by climbing onto it, which makes her frown. Then she starts to pick IT up too. Apparently it's no good either.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen looks to her and says "Ok, hold up a moment, tell me what you want out of the room, and I will get it out of the room. He blurs out and comes back wearing a tool belt. "It will be easier to move stuff in pieces."

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Cass looks at Bart, his speed making his body language difficult to interpret. But she nods hesitantly after a moment, not entirely sure if he said what she thinks he said, and waves at...everything. She just spreads her arms.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen hmms and nods his head a bit and starts around the room, in just a minute or three the room is down to it's bare walls, a blank slate. "Ok, now we can start from here, and figure out what you want to put in here." He pauses and says "Oh, I was going to ask, do you speak sign?"

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Cassandra, being unable to 'tell' with words, simply sits down now that the room is empty. She smiles, and stretches out. She looks...content? It's empty, it has nothing. She likes it.

Then Bart asks her a question in words with context she lacks, and she looks at him waiting for him to make sense.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen hmms and says "I take that as a no." He zooms off and is back with a couple of books. The first one is American Sign Language. He will sit down beside her with the books, and shows her the first one. "This is a language people made for people who can not hear or can not speak." He opens the book, and says "You can spell out words, or some words have symbols for them. He makes the symbol for friend. "That is how you say friend in it."

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Not actually speaking English has its drawbacks. Half of what Bart says is gibberish, the rest she's getting from context. and he has books. Ew.

Buut, he did just help her, so she's got time. Likely even took the stuff away. Or he left it all in the hallway, which is cool too. She mimics his motion, not actually knowing ...wait.

Steph calls her that word. She frowns, then she makes the motion again. This might be more talky-jabber, but at least it's..it's not words.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods his head a bit and says "Friend, we have lots of friends about here." He nods, and says "I thought learning this might help talk to you or Strix, but seems neither of you speak it. If you want to learn we can work on it." He offers. HE does ramble on a bit "Ok, now what would you like your room to look like? He asks and shows her a couple magazine, and in amongst them is one of the pamphlets from the Zoo mixed in it, he grabbed on accident.

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Cass looks at the books without book names and sighs. She does not want to look at books, that clearly is not her thing. But she picks up one or two, making faces at their covers and dropping them just as fast.

She picks up the zoo thingie, not knowing names, and flips pages as if not believing there's anything in a 'book' worth knowing.

Then she pauses. She doesn't point, but she clearly is interested in one page. It's...it's an alligator enclosure of all things. With concrete barriers part way up walls, wooden beams made of real trees, and exposed panelling. There's a floor that looks like it's grippy, maybe some kind of sprayed on sand. It's an ugly, empty room, and it looks like monsters live there.

She likes it.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen 's brow raises a bit and as she looks at the pamphlet, he will ask "You want to go see Alley, and Fred?" He asks her "They are alligators at the zoo, I have gotten to feed them a couple times, if you want to see them we can go sometime. So, find anything you want for in here?"

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Cass isn't looking at Bart anymore, or at the magazines. She pushes herself up, then touches the wall. Speculatively. Considering. Then she..smiles, and looks at her room. The big empty space full of potential. And she takes a step, then drops her hands to the floor.

She flips once, twice, then ends with one foot on the far wall. She nods as if thinking something, and then looks back at Bart.

At which point she shrugs. Words are hard.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen says, "Well if you like it like this it is ok, if you want to add anything to it let us know. We can get you a hammock or sleeping bag if you prefer one of them instead of a bed, or some bars or something on the walls or ceiling if you wanting them for flipping and such."

Cassandra Cain has posed:
See, now that she'd go for. if only she understood what the heck he was talking about. But it'll come in time. For now, she's got this big lovely space she can catch naps in, or do acrobatics, or invite friends over to fight in. Or, you know. Maybe even read a book.

We all know how likely that is though.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen looks over and says "Oh, do you want a cat tree in here for Mr. Murder Mittens in case he wants to sleep in here?" He offers "Can get you one like in the main room if you do."

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Cass looks at Bart, then glances down at the floor by the doorway. Then back to him. She looks confused, but she's given him that look a lot. It's a thing. She seems to have gotten some kind of hint from something he did, that he might be talking about ...the cat? Possibly?

Well, either way she figures she can leave the door open for the little deathtrap. Good hunting in this building.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods a bit and says "Well um if you want one let me know." He rubs his hands on his pants "Well if you need anything, My room is just down the hall, and I am here to help you when ever ya need help." He offers.

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Cass waves at Bart, then points to the walls. Up high. She walks to one and puts her hand there, as a fist. She mimes reaching out and grabbing something, perhaps a bar. Then she points around the room. Then she points to the ceiling. Then she points to other places.

If she wanted a workout room she could have just said, and saved on furniture.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen hmms and nods his head a bit. He will think about it for a moment, pondering then is off and back with a box of things she might be talking about. In the box are pipes, and handholds like in a cliff climbing wall. He also has some of the rings that hang from the ceiling. He does have a hammack, and a few other odds and ends in the box, to let her look through.

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Given that Cass has only a remedial understanding of 'building stuff' she catches on pretty quickly. She grins, then pulls out pipes. She ignored the hammock, the room not being high enough for a nest to make sense. If she got caught in that she'd be at a disadvantage. Honestly she slept in a corner in her room most of her life, she's not hung up on this 'bed' idea.

Then she works with Bart, picking locations for bars and rings. The room might not hold her weight, but she'll learn that in situ. By pressure testing the walls, and seeing if they used real wood or if drywall is a thing.

The room will never be the same.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will help her with things and does give tugs here and there trying to make sure she will not fall as she messes with them. He will look over to her as they finish them, and says "Well if this is what you want, I hope you like it. I will tell Rob about the changes we made.
