Hyperion has posed:
And so, it is a chilly day in Central Park. November is here, and the leaves that have changed colors have begun falling to the ground as dried brown terrain features.

Within the confines of the park sits Mark Milton, a large framed man who sits on a bench with a sketch pad on his lap. He seems to be drawing passers by. Just quick sketches. Peoplewatching is a way to keep in practice, and to enjoy the hobby of drawing. Every once in a while, he takes a sip from the steaming coffee cup beside him, purchased from one of the local coffee shops in the area rather than some chain like Starbucks. He has a jacket on, but does not appear to feel the chill like most others might.

Koriand'r has posed:
Chilly or not never seemed to bother Starfire, but physiology or perhaps culture she was oft dressed in attire rather similar to her skin-baring costume. After all, it wasn't like Kori was going to be able to blend in between the color of her skin and the brillant green eyes that marked her as a clear non-human.

Dressed today in a simple t-shirt and shorts that passes for 'casual' wear for her, the Tamaran woman touched down lightly in the midst of the park...and made a beeline for one of the hotdog vendors with a smile on her face.

Flying around on a semi-patrol was fun and all, but she needed a snack!

Hyperion has posed:
Oh, there is a subject worth sketching. Mark's hand works swiftly, but he is not drawing upon his hyper-speed power just yet. He just works with a smile on his face before his brain registers just whom he is sketching.

He works for news media. Of course he's seen stories of the Titans, and of Kori.... aka Starfire.

So by the time she is receiving her food order, he's gotten to his feet, and approaching with a mostly finished sketch to offer.

"Excise me... Ms. Starfire?" he asks in a resonant voice while peeling the page out of the sketchbook to hold out as if offering it.

Koriand'r has posed:
A little shift as she claims her own hotdog, Starfire begins to take a greedy bite right as she's addressed. Not the most glamourous moment to be approached but she didn't really seem to mind.

"Yes?" she questions, brushing a speck of mustard off her lips and then blinking at the page offered out to her.

"Oh!"

Hyperion has posed:
Shrugging his shoulders, Mark just smiles. "I thought you might like to have this. I just kinda spend my saturday afternoons here at the park sketching people." he offers.

"I could put some more effort into it and make it a fully colored image but... I find the purity of a sketch is sometimes better than some fully finished work."

Koriand'r has posed:
Bright, beaming...at least once she'd finished devouring her snack with downright concerning speed, the heroine finally draws the sketch up to her gaze properly.

"This is very impressive," she speaks, drawing the paper down to rest against her as she addresses the man. "You do this regularly? Portraits of those you spy in this park?"
