Synopsis:	James talks to Tabitha about his relationship with Nicole and asks her to move in with him. She agrees to become his roommate.

James Proudstar has posed:
Jim spent almost every moment of this weekend with you. He did have to do some homework and he did step away to take a few calls but the Apache spent as much time as possible in your presence near you. Not saying much thinking but you know him well enough to know something was coming. So it wasn't a complete surprise when you woke up to breakfast in bed and note asking you to meet him where it all began.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Breakfast in bed is great, but the note caused a bit of thinking as Tabby stops to wonder just which beginning it means. She goes to the first place she met Jim first and pauses for more thought when that's not where he's waiting to meet her. Finally with a snap of her fingers, she remembers that day near the lake with Illyana and makes her way to the creek where they swam in the cold that day.

James Proudstar is sitting with his back to the trail. He's cleared out a space and felled a big tree to make a sitting area. It's cold out but he has a nice fire going. He's used some branches and herbs so it smells amazing. He's warming his hands and taking small sips from his granddad's flask. Something he rarely does. It's always bourbon and only for the most serious times. He's dressed in his work boots, raw denim and a Columbia hoodie a nod to the weather.

Pink sunglasses shade Tabby's blue eyes and there's a jacket over her White turtleneck sweater and pink jeans tucked into the tops of her boots. She inhales deeply as she walks up behind him, greeting him brightly, "Hey there, Jimmy. You got me in suspense about what's going on this morning."

James Proudstar has posed:
James Proudstar smiles and turns looking up at you, his eyes drop over you and you can feel the hunger. But he chuckles and nods patting the log next to him, "Yeah, we got stuff to talk about. I'm sorry I haven't been around. Thanks for covering. There's been a lot going on with school and with ... other stuff." He sighs and take a deep breath. "I want to tell you the ending first which is right here today with you." He reaches out for your hands, "Okay? I'm yours if you'll have me. But if you need space I fet that too. I think the pressure of us, of it being too real is what started everything."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith flashes him a grin and settles down beside him, placing her hands into his, "Wow... that got serious fast. I mean, we don't have to label anything if you are feeling pressured. I don't wanna pressure you, Jimmy. And it was no trouble telling people you were busy. They all just assume I know what's going on I guess."

James Proudstar has posed:
James Proudstar nods slowly and smiles, "That's because we've been together in one form or another since Senior year. After you left I staid with Yana and that was fine, but I got called back to Arizona on tribe business and when I got back things were different." He shrugs, "We'd just gone in different directions. Then you came back ever so briefly and that was.., good but the you were gone again and Yana and I met other people. For me it was a a girl, a woman named Nicole. She lived in Brooklyn we met by accident but we connected and I was missing you and not sure how things with Yana were going and we connected. It was nice, we were getting serious and you came back and all the old feelings came back with you and it was amazing and confusing and then the Shi'ar attacked.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith blinks then puts her smile back on and keeps it there even though she cannot quite keep the confused tone out of her voice, "Wait... you were seeing someone else when I came back? I... never realized you were with anybody else. I mean it's understandable with how long I was gone and all, but you never said anything..." She pauses. There's more to the story right?

James Proudstar has posed:
James Proudstar frowns, "I checked in with her to make sure she was safe. But then we got pulled to the far end of the universe and I got kidnapped by the Dominators and when I went looking for her to tell her about you, she was gone. Vanished, I've checked with all the likely suspects and theirs nothing, Shield, Hydra, the Brotherhood, Xavier no one can find her." He sighs. "I should have told you as soon as you came back. I'm sorry. It was just so good and I was afraid to spoil it. I was going there to tell her I was with you. Then I was coming back to tell you what had happened. Like this, I'm sorry if I did this wrong." He gives you a small smile, "Relationships are not my strong suit."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith's smile falters just a touch as she says, "I'm so sorry to hear someone you cared about has gone missing on you again. That's gotta be tough. First me, now Nicole." She frowns finally, "So what are you going to do when she shows up again then?"

James Proudstar has posed:
James Proudstar blinks at you, he pauses and when he speaks his voice is very quiet. "Tabs, it's always been you. I'm going to tell her that we're together. I.. I don't want to lose you again. I realized that... it was always you. You called me back from the abyss when the Dominators tried to break me. You were what I was trying to find with Yana. I'm not sure when it happened whether it was here that day in the creek or sometime before or after but I fell in love with you Tabitha."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith squeezes his hands as she looks up into his eyes. "Always huh? It was probably when you were dying of embarrassment after Yana dumped us naked in the foyer of the school that day. The solidarity of flaming red cheeks, eh?" You really shouldn't make jokes when someone says they fell in love with you all serious-like but Tabby really can't help herself. It's her defense to tense situations and really serious ones too.

James Proudstar has posed:
James Proudstar knows, he knows exactly what it is and how she works so he kisses her, passionately and presses the small box into her hand from his pocket where it was hiding, "Yeah, that was it. Those are still the cutest cheeks in school." He caresses your face to confuse the kids not old enough to know what he means and keep the PG-13 rating.

     In the box is a ring, a ruby setting surrounded by small amethyst stones. The band has a series of different stones set into it. The ring is platinum, the ruby is Tabby's birthstone, Amethyst is Jim's, the stones on the band represent their family the New Mutants.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith is kissing Jimmy and does not initially notice the box being put into her hand. When they draw back it finally becomes obvious and her brows draw together as she looks down at the box and opens it to look inside. "This is beautiful, Jimmy, but... What's this all about?"

James Proudstar has posed:
James Proudstar smiles, "It's a ring, a promise or a token of my friendship and affection. I checked and If we move into the College dorms we can share an apartment. No more sneaking around." He looks into your eyes, "I don't want to lose some else."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith takes out the ring and slips it onto the ring finger of her right hand before she teases, "Oh my oh my... Are you asking me ta go steady with ya, Jimmy boy?" Her eyes twinkles with mischief before she asks, "You really want all of my stuff in your room?"

James Proudstar has posed:
James Proudstar nods and laughs, he pulls you close so we're nose to nose, "Yes, Tabitha Smith, I want every aspect of my life intertwined with yours. I wanna be your steady, You can even borrow my Indian Scout.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith chuckles softly then asks, "And you're sure you want everyone around here to know you're keeping time with some poor little trash girl from down South?" She doesn't always acknowledge where she came from and when she does she's usually making a joke, but she definitely still remembers where she came from.

James Proudstar has posed:
James Proudstar runs his hand through your hair fondly, "You haven't been that girl for quite sometime and ANYONE calls you trash and you send them to me, or let me know So I can set them straight. But, long as your game with keeping time with that no account injun boy from out west.I mean, the first night I came to the mansion you and Yana hid in the woods you were so scared of me, of who i was and what I might do. And now... "

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith slaps his face very lightly at that, "Like I told those crazy aliens, nothing inferior or no account about either of those Proudstar boys and I better not hear anybody saying it. I can make those flashbangs be a little more bang and a little less flash if I have to."

James Proudstar has posed:
James Proudstar grins and laughs, eyes twinkling, holding up his hands, "I give, I don't care who knows that we're together. Long as we're together."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith smiles back at him then points out, "I thought the college dorm was just for people enrolled in the college courses though. And you're going to school somewhere else and I'm not going to the college courses. No more school. Too boring."

James Proudstar has posed:
James Proudstar nods, "It's college age, not taking courses as part of the curriculum here. Jubilee and Rahne both have spaces and neither of them is registered."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith nods, "Well then if you're willing to put up with my crazy, I can manage sharing a room with a studly man."

James Proudstar has posed:
James Proudstar grins and holds up the keys, "This was gonna be really embarrassing if you had said no."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith looks at the keys and arches a brow, "You already got the room? Well that was... a big assumption on your part wasn't it?"

James Proudstar has posed:
James Proudstar nods, looking contrite, "Yes, it was. But it does mean we can start moving in."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith flashes him a grin, "But... is the bed beside the window so I can chuck time bombs out on people's heads?"

James Proudstar has posed:
James Proudstar nods solemnly, "It is, I was even going to get you a slingshot got Christmas."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith giggles, "Well what are you waitin' for then? We have a bed to christen." She pops a quick kiss on his lips then stands up, "And you're gonna carry all my stuff right? I'm a wuss with weak arms unlike you."

James Proudstar has posed:
James Proudstar stands and nods, "Sure, no sweat. I've been working on lifting weights while I'm flying, it'll be good practice.
