A Shady Visit
Date of Scene: 26 November 2021
Location: The Griffin
Synopsis: Ty meets Saeko, and Satana and Saeko get some Shady visitors.
Cast of Characters: Tynan Ireton, Saeko, Satana Hellstrom

Tynan Ireton has posed:
Ty was up late last night, celebrating a job she recently did, as well as studying the Book. The woman shuffles along into the main room, looking around. The woman grumbles a little bit as she tries to smooth over the clothes she likely slept in. "mmmmmm....coffeee.", she zombies out as the woman stumbles along.

There's a few imps snickering, watching the new comer to the house shuffle along. They might even be planning something as they watch her stumble along. The woman isn't paying them much attention as she zomshuffles, given the state of her mindfulness at the moment.

Saeko has posed:
Saeko's magic was...inate, but that didn't mean she didn't understand study and practice. Of course, being a Tenko of Inari did mean that she had nearly a thousand years over most humans with her own abilities, so it could make it seem frustratingly easy compared to those who were starting out.

She had watched Satana, swapped tips here and there, but generally the Kitsune seemed quite happy to be relaxing when she visited the Griffin, enjoying the gaps between her duties and her hobbies.

One flicker of light later and Saeko simply appeared in the kitchen space, her form wrapped in the revealing red yukata she often preferred when appearing in her true form. Perhaps she'd been out 'working', delivering message, blessing or punishment in Inari's name, to be getting back so late.

Tynan Ireton has posed:
Ty blinks as she walks in, and sees a flickering a light, then a woman standing there. She rubs her eyes. "Oook, not awake.", she says. The woman looks over to the door, and rubs her eyes again. "I'm starting to dream things again.", she says. The woman stretches before she starts to rummage a bit. After a few seconds, she gives up, opens a portal, and pulls out a small canister of coffee.

"That book must be driving me crazy. Or I did something, and somebody casted an illusion on me.", she says. THe woman looks over at Saeko, and just keeps blinking before she starts and fails at trying to remember how to work a falcet. Yes, she's that out of it.

Saeko has posed:
"Oh, a new one!" Saeko speaks, perhaps a little suprised by the arrival of a face she didn't recognize. An apparent mortal, but given that the imps weren't hiding? Well, it was probably fine that she hadn't appeared in human guise. Crossing her arms under her bust there's a tilt of her head, curiousity alight on the unnaturally beautiful vixen's face before she shrugs and makes to settle herself down leaning against the wall.

"I am not an illusion, but please..finish what you are doing."

Tynan Ireton has posed:
Ty just blinks at Saeko a few more times, rubbing her eyes. "Sat mentioned others, but well, I don't know what I'm thinking right now. Need caffine.", she grumbles. THe woman finally gets some water, and puts it on to boil.

Ty starts to shuffle to a chair, when an imp starts to move the chair. A quick portal slash later, there's a gun on the imp's head, and it gently puts the chair back. "Just cause I'm a weak little human doesn't mean I can't put a piece of metal in your head.", she tells it. The woman looks over at Saeko again, and rubs her eyes again. "You're not another shade from the book, are you? I thought Satana was scaring them away?"

Saeko has posed:
A laugh at that, Saeko moves to take a mug for herself as she approaches the kitchen bench, her tails wavering lazily behind her before they seem to fade along with her fox-like ears and the 'whisker marks' on her cheeks to leave the woman looking decidedly human, if not just as beautiful for it. Perhaps she thought it polite to keep things simpler around and apparent 'newbie'.

"I am Saeko, a Tenko of Inari and...companion of Satana," she offers in introduction. Turning to rest her behind against the bench, her mug begins to steam as if the beverage had been conjured into existance rather than simply waiting for the kettle to boil.

The exchange with the imp? It leaves her apparently unfased. Threats to imps were pretty common around here!

Tynan Ireton has posed:
Ty nods her head a bit as she waits for the water. After its up to temp, she makes her coffee, and sips it. "Tenko? Inari?", she asks. The woman rubs her head, before she opens a portal, and pulls out the book. Saeko might notice at this point, there's smoke coming from Ty's hands, and there's burn marks around her fingers.

The mercenary holds her hand up, and the book seems to float. She makes a motion with her hand, and it starts flipping through pages. There's a presence of shades gathering around Ty, trying to whisper in the young woman's ears of spells, and magicks. Ty's too tired to really notice much. They seem to be promising her riches, appeal, eternal youth...the normal magical vices.

"...So, you're like...a Japanese fae spirit?", she asks. The woman groans a bit as she waves her hand at a shade. "Not being insulting. Just...not used to the whole magical beings stuff. I used to think succubi were video game characters for teenage boys.", she tells. Ty hasn't had enough coffee yet, so yeah, grouchy a little bit.

Satana Hellstrom has posed:
It was a long night. Having spent the night carefully giving Tynan stirring dreams--a difficult trick to pull without waking her up--Satana had gone on to perform some of her experiments while the house was quiet. And over the witching hour.

Subsequently she showered carefully to remove the bits of her experiment that got past the leather butcher's apron.

Finally she stretched, teased Rasputin a bit, feeding him an imp by way of subsequent apology (that squealing sound likely foreshadowing her arrival) before heading up the stairs through the secret door and into the living room.

Coffee.

Wonderful smell.

Along with her favourite foxy friend and the new plaything. Human, but interesting.

"Good morning everybody!" Satana enthuses as she steps into the kitchen. Starting with Saeko, she gives the gorgeous guest an offering with lips and tongue and gentle work of her fingers, albeit brief. "Coffee would be wonderful darling," she purrs. Another kiss. "With cinnamon?"

She then moves over to Tynan, ready to perform the same greeting, customized for the human's tastes.

Saeko has posed:
The burn marks, that smoke? It did indeed catch Saeko's senses. A little shift, the woman makes a little batting gesture with her hand and a flare of blue light dances across her eyes, it wasn't quite the same as Satana, but she's happy enough to disperse the shades herself as casually as she can.

Sipping her drink, the teacup is held in both hands while she gives a shrug of her partially bare shoulders. "A simplification, but perhaps it is close enough to understand. To call myself a 'divine manifestation of heavenly will' or a 'demigoddess of divine knowledge' as some would is terribly...gaudy. I am simply 'Saeko'."

Then Satana is here, an arrival that perhaps undercuts the talk of titles or any assumed serenity as her mouth is claimed in the succubus' greeting.

"Good morning," she offers ever polite...when her breath returns.

Tynan Ireton has posed:
The shades quickly retreat into portals they make, causing more burns on Ty's hands. She puts the book back into subspace as Satana comes over. Ty leans up, and kisses Satana a bit, before flopping back down. She licks her lips a little bit. "I take it the dream I was having was inspired?", she asks. The woman goes back to her coffee for a second.

"Work was a little late, and then the studying. I eff'n hate people who just have to model their cars after the president's.", she says. Ty stretches out a little bit, and takes a deeper sip. "Was I sopposed to be studying elemental, or the compulsive magicks?", she asks. The woman had studied a bit of wind magic last night. Mostly cause the imps were making noise outside the couch. Ty just happend to crash there last night, and well, there might still be a piece of imp in a corner or two...

Satana Hellstrom has posed:
"If the dream you had involved me, an obscenely long and prehensile tongue, and ..."

Satana counts on her fingers a moment.

"...at least seven climaxes, then yes, it was the one I inspired."

She winks down at Tynan and mimes another "MWAH!" kiss before sitting down.

"I see those damned shades from that damned book are back."

She's using terms of art literally here.

"Do you want us to work out how to get rid of them once and for all? Those marks it leaves behind don't look healthy. I mean unless you're into the pain. In which case ..." A smoky, sultry look is directed at the mercenary. "... we should talk. I have a whole room for that kind of stuff."

"What brings you here, Foxy Friend?" she then asks. "Just visiting, or do you need someone mean to do bad things in line with your punishment gig?"

She tilts her head to one side, shrugging. "I mean I'm happy either way."

Saeko has posed:
"I just returned from a little 'visit' elsewhere for Inari's faithful, an offering was made and..." she pauses, her own pondering of the dreams mentioned before she giggles softly. "Someone was upset that things had been stolen from a temple, so punishment will certainly come to pass in due time." A sip of her tea, the kitsune smiles, her hand lifted to place a fingertip to her lips.

"I suppose thoughts of punishment had me thinking of you, so I came to drop by and met your lovely tired friend here."

A little shift in the seat where she rests and there's another tilt of her head. "Another student you've taken under your wings?"

Tynan Ireton has posed:
Ty honestly didn't notice the burns on her hands. She blinks, then looks down. "...They must be using my power...", she mutters. The mercenary growls a little bit, before sipping her coffee. "And aye, another student.", she says. "And I don't mind handing out punishment. I mean, I have a sniper rifle, and I havn't used explosives in awhile.", she winks.

"I still havn't worked out what they are. A few of them were saying that if I want to learn succbi arts, it wasn't hard to learn. One had said its mixing fae magic with demonic...", she says. Yeah, they're really trying to get her to do a few things. "And one had suggested a couple of things.", Ty says blushing.

"The last shade said you still have to honor certain demonic rules. That true?", she asks. Ty watches Satana. The shades sense a threat in Satana, and it seems they're whispering ideas in the woman's ear.

Satana Hellstrom has posed:
"We all live by rules, even the people up at the heights of Hell," Satana says, nodding sagely. "But which specific rules? There are many, though most are in the form of 'loose guidelines enforced randomly by the fickle demons higher in the chain'."

Her voice goes dry with a hint of sarcastic laughter behind it.

"And if they think the succubus arts aren't hard to learn, I invite them to spend a day--just a day--in my training school. They'll learn more than they ever wanted to know about my arts." A languorous wink. "It's not just looking hot and sucking souls, after all. There's actual knowledge and work involved."

...

"Though I must say I'm intrigued by what the one suggesting things to you was saying that made you blush. I quite like human blush responses. Shame is such an odd reaction to simple desire. Does it make you blush, too, to think of what I was doing to inspire those dreams of yours?"

Her voice goes sultry, husky, inviting.

"Because I was. Doing things, I mean. Would you like a demonstration while awake?..."

Seems she really enjoys blushes, given how closely she's watching Tynan now.

Saeko has posed:
"The best things can be found from trying that which is different..." Saeko muses, tilting her head to the side and lifting herself from her seat, drink left behind. Slow, almost feline steps carry her to behind Satana as she lazily leans against the other woman's back, one hand lifting to stroke against Satana's cheek with the back of her fingers while she rests her own head against the other woman's shoulder.

The whisker marks, those ears, the tails all seem to flow back into existance, those amber irises fixing on the blushing Ty as she smirks. "Satana here is wonderful proof of that..." she purrs. An addition perhaps to Satana's own teasing as she matches the succubus' tone. "Always something more to learn, through whatever means your curiousity takes you to."

Tynan Ireton has posed:
Ty takes a moment to cough a little bit, and turns bright red for a second. "Well, I err, ummm...", she says. The woman turns bright red, and then refocuses. "It said there are certain spells that can only be casted in death.", she says. "And that soul sucking isn't the right term for feeding...Rather...Essence feeding, and how to use an empty container...", she says. The shade is suggesting something that there's no way that Ty could pull off in her current state...And would leave her massivly open to any number of issues...

Satana Hellstrom has posed:
"Oh dear," Satana says. After a pause. "Isn't that blush adorable?"

Her face turns up toward Saeko's to nuzzle a moment against the soft fur.

"But oh dear as well to the advice you're being given. Those ... things ... that this book have saddled you with are not your friends, Tynan." The irony of a Hell Lord talking about bad faith actors is seemingly lost to her. "They are trying, from the little bits and pieces you're relaying, to do you harm. Serious harm. Beginning with imposing their will on you and even possessing you."

Satana brings her own formidable will-bending powers to the forefront, making, if possible, Tynan just casually empty her coffee onto the floor.

She then releases.

"That's a small taste. The last one ... that one wants you to become the empty vessel, not use one. You are nowhere near ready for spells of that magnitude and even attempting to use them will open you to attacks by draining even the limited magick defences you have by virtue of having a simple soul."

Satana's eyes fire up in bright orange.

"If you want to waste your soul so badly, just let me have it. You'll feel oh so good as I consume it and your passing to Hell will leave me with body-wracking climaxes."

The eyes return to normal, paired with an impish face.

"But if you want to continue actually living as a mortal, perhaps we should do something to those shades."

Again her cheek nuzzles Saeko. "Darling, perhaps as a double-team? One protects the human, the other teaches the shades why a Hell Lord is not to be fucked with?"

Saeko has posed:
Of course, Saeko doesn't mentioning her own 'draining', after all a 'soul' and the essense of life she fed on wasn't the same thing. One was a reason, the other was a result. Instead she listens, her own gaze fixed on the flushed irish woman as Satana speaks with a light nod to the demon's talk of intent.

She shifts a little, leaning into that nuzzle and offering a slight giggle, and hint of the trickster nature she was born to carried by the mischief in the entrancing tones.

"That could be fun...Of course, I am supposed to be the benevolent one, and you the one teaching lessons so..."

Tynan Ireton has posed:
Ty looks down at her coffee. The woman takes a deep breath for a second. "If that had been whiskey, we might of had a problem.", she pouts. "That was caffine though. Necessary vitamin of morning!", she pouts. The woman shakes her head a bit more for a second before settling down. "You know, you could have just sent an impulse for me to kiss somebody in the room instead of making me lose my coffee.", she points out.

Ty blinks a little bit, and looks at her arms a bit. They're starting to really burn now. "...I think...they're a little pissed.", she says. The woman takes a moment, and taps the back of her foot down. "Brath.", she says. It may not be a very strong spell, but its not sopposed to be. Its simply a pulse of magic sent out to detect things. Ty turns around, and makes several motions with her fingers in random spots...Her arms are starting to blacken a bit. "I think they're all trying to come out at once.", she says. The woman whimpers a bit, trying to close up portals that are now appearing rapidly.

Satana Hellstrom has posed:
"Oh dear. Trying to invade my home on the Earthly sphere. This is not wise."

Satana gets up, and already her skin, which had up until now been gloriously in view without even a hint of shame, is turning a red like congealing blood, scales forming. The "horns" are turning into the real thing, poking out from under her skin. Fingernails turn to talons and her mouth gets filled with a double-layer of sharp, pointed teeth.

And the eyes.

The eyes have turned into black pits with distant flaming despair flickering bright red in their depths.

"Saeko, if you would please protect Tynan and yourself, I have some cleanup to do in here."

Leaving just enough time for Saeko to get her most powerful protections up, Satana begins...

1. The 'one' of the 'one-two' punch. Spreading her arms, her legs, and now her wings too, wide, Soulfire of the pain-causing variety erupts from her, filling the room with visuals of Hellfire personified, and for those not protected by the herald of Inari, filling entire souls with withering pain that is channeled straight from the tortures of Hell.

2. The 'two' now: while spirits are stunned, Satana chants eldritch words, filling the room with their terrible, vile sound. Downstairs the Wurlitzer lights up and starts playing Infected Rain's 'Orphan Soul'. Directed by Satana's targeting, the stored magics unleashed by the mana battery concealed in the depths of the hotel's floor start a dissipation routine: trying to force anything in the room that isn't recognized by Satana's Wurlitzer (some of Tynan's bodily fluids already having been used to update it) into the Astral plane, like a Star Trek transporter set to 'wide dispersal'.

3. The denouement. Any shades strong enough to resist that instead get marked with a soul stain. A marker that will make them the target of Hell's Hounds when they next get released for the Hunt.

Saeko has posed:
Powerful, dramatic, but completely opposed to Satana, Saeko steps up, a hand resting on Tyran's shoulders before she pulls the girl against her chest.

A bright light, ghostly blue flames flow from her eyes, engulfing the pair of them as the same 'kitsune-bi' dances across the tails that flare like a warding cage around them, ready to burn from existance any shade that might try and push past.

Her grip is warm, tight, its firmness a testiment to the effort used to keep shades and Satana's magic both out.

Tynan Ireton has posed:
Ty gets pulled into Saeko's chest, as she gets protected by the aura. The shades continue to try to push through a bit, using Ty's own mutant powers to try to get around the attack. It doesn't work out as much as they think, and soon, many are retreating. Each one of the shades though seemed to have a copy of the Book that Ty is studying. And each one seemed to be using different styles of magic.

Its not long though before Ty is horribly drained, and slumps against Saeko. Her eyes are starting to really glaze over, and her arms are really really badly burnt. She's close to her shock point at the moment. Either way, one can tell that Ty's not at home anymore.

Satana Hellstrom has posed:
"Your books will not help you!" Satana sneers as the shades wither at her attack and against Saeko's defences. "Leave this home and do not return or I will simply obliterate you!"

Tynan's burns aren't at notice right now, since Saeko has her under protection. Satana's attention is focused almost entirely upon the shades and their dispelling.

"When you reform," she chortles, "remember that pain. That's what awaits you if you touch something under my protection again!"

Finally the assault is over. It felt, likely, like a million years, but lasted less than a minute. (Magical duels are that way.) Satana stands in her fiendish glory, grinning like a shark, panting heavily from the exertion.

"I'm going to need some sacrifices to recharge the Wurlitzer," she opines. "Time to pick up a few teens playing Satanist."
