Cast of Characters: Rose Wilson, Jason Todd

Rose Wilson has posed:
Exactly like she said that she would, Rose moved in. To the warehouse that was taken over, at least. She's set up one of the two rooms as her own, tucked away all those illegal guns and things that people like her, and Jason, tend to aquire.

But rumor has it she's got hereslf a shitty apartment somewhere else in Gotham too, but not one that she seems to be staying at really. A safe "public" spot if she needs. Paranoia might be a thing. It's from a recent trip to this apartment of hers that she is returning from, skipping all things masked or uniformed in favor of blending in with the crowd of a million other one-eyed teenage girls out there in the world.

Jason Todd has posed:
For his part, Jason's not just been sitting around. While recruiting for their little gang is slow going (read: not moving), research on the enemies they may face in the Cauldron is going a bit better. Sionis and Falcone are the big boys on the block, and it should be trvial matters to squash any of the smaller groups trying to crop up and feed off the crumbs from the big boy table. But they'd eventually have to take out one of the Big Two if the Red Hood Gang (title pending) was to be taken seriously.

And so he's turned his attention to building up a small armory in the second room. He has a cot there, of course, but between that and his apartment he has plenty of room to crash. And so the second major room of the warehouse now looks like a gun store. Small ordinance like handguns, all the way up to... is that a grenade launcher? Yes. Yes it is. None of it special or expensive, but tested on a few of the merchants who had tried to cheat him. The others knew better, now.

And so he calls Rose, wherever she may be (probably not her apartment, but he doesn't just barge into her room either), for an update meeting. Had they made much progress? Probably not as much as Jason would like, but enough that they can start stepping up their plans.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Barging into people's rooms probably would get people shot, or stabbed. Either person. But maybe interesting after a night of drinking to see if...well, that might just be her idea of a good time.

"I went out to the docks the other night." Rose comments, finding herself a place to sit to make herself comfortable for the retelling. "Some loser wanna be pirate decided to try and take this rich guys yacht. Kids were involved.. It was a thing, but I'm pretty sure I got the idea across the docks were now off limits. For a little while."

Jason Todd has posed:
Jason, in rare form, has removed the Red Hood and his mask underneath, leaning back with his feet propped up on the desk. He seems a lot more relaxed with the idea of having Rose around now than he did before, and the fact that he's not speaking through the echoing helmet around her is a sure sign of that. As she settles in across from him, he offers a small grin, then lets it fade as she starts talking business.

"Wannabe pirate? Happen to get a name or alias on that?" he asks, though the fact she hadn't led with it leads him to believe that she hadn't. He might want to pay such a guy a visit later on, if not for recruitment then at the very least for shakedown. "I hate it when kids get involved..." he growls lightly, as though a wound had been touched, but he quickly recovers. "Good. The docks will be a good way to get shipments in and out of the other two big cities. Eventually. Might need some Stark tech on the downlow, and Metropolis is usually good for materials to deal with more stubborn superpowered pains. Good work. Makes me feel like I've been wasting time, but it seems like the guys I requisitioned this place from are free again. Those who weren't put down, anyway. If we wanted to recruit 'em, might help shore up our numbers and make us seem a bit bigger. There's one guy who pissed himself when he got caught, but I get the feeling he's gonna try to fall in with another wrong crowd and, call me crazy if you like, but I wanna bring him on. I think a guy like that could be useful as a front. Jenkins. Outside of Jenkins, the rest are your call, partner."

Rose Wilson has posed:
"Didn't get a name, but the guy is still alive if you want to track him down and finish him off." Rose reaches into a pocket to pull out a pack of cigarettes, tapping one free as she tries to think back over the incident. See if she can't recall anyone having used the guys name. Or if he happened to wear a name tag. It could happen.

The cigarette is tucked into the corner of her mouth before she leans forward, settling her elbows on the edge of his desk, tilting her head at him, "You want to pick up the kid that pissed himself?" She looks like she might actually just call him crazy for this, but then she manages to hold it back. "Alright...explain why you think he'd be useful?"

Jason Todd has posed:
Jason shrugs. "I'm not that concerned. He shows up again, he'll likely end up at the bottom of the docks anyway, so..." He rolls his shoulders again solemnly, then pulls out two glasses and the bottle of drink from their last meeting. If she was lighting up, he was at least going to have a drink as well. Seems appropriate. As she leans in, he shifts his feet off the desk and matches the gesture.

"Are you kidding me? Guy like that, he's got fears to exploit, which means he can be molded. This gang that got taken out here, they were small time. He was likely on the take for small cash. Threaten him well enough, or better yet toughen him up, and he could be a good enforcer. Or at the very least he'd make a convincing patsy with enough persuasion. And, well... I dunno. I guess I just got a hunch about the kid, ya know? It's something that's been nagging me since they got themselves locked up. A lot of 'em are your typical grunts, but that kid... He's got stuff goin' on. And I think I can bring out some potential."

Rose Wilson has posed:
The mention of the kid having stuff going on garners a brief frown, but one of quiet understanding. Rose might just understand what 'stuff' someone could be dealing with, or she's at least got some understanding of what Jason might be meaning.

The lighter gets pulled out of her pocket, and she flicks it to light the cigarette before she tucks the lighter back into her pocket. There's a quick pull from it, then she flicks the ashes towards the floor before she leans forward more, tucking a chin on one of her hands. The one without the cigarette in it, at least, "Alright. I can see how the kid might be useful, on both sides. But question...how'd the others in the gang treat him?"

Jason Todd has posed:
Jason gestures with a hand, as though revealing some grand hand of cards when in reality it looks like he turned over 10 high. But, he knows all too well the power of a troubled youth tempered by the right hands. Or the wrong hands, as the case may be, depending on if one viewed Jason as a success story or not. He pours out a measure of amber into each glass, then swiftly downs his own, the burn in his throat silencing him for a moment longer.

He smirks, then shrugs his shoulders. "They were all pissants to some boss with a little bit of cash. The foreman was probably a relative of the guy, and they're both dead. By my hand. Doesn't matter how they treated him anyway. Thinkin' of makin' the kid a foreman himself if he can grow some balls, then the other guys are gonna listen or deal with me. And they don't wanna deal with me, lemme tell ya." He cracks his knuckles a bit, then leans back. "That's only if he shows up in a big way. If not, he can join your pirate friend in the river."

Rose Wilson has posed:
"If you kick their asses then they'll never respect this guy. You've got to let him stand on his own, which is why I asked how those guys treat him..." Rose reaches for the glass once he's filled her glass, picking it up to take a careful sip from it. She doesn't down it as quickly as he does.

"But fine, you can bring on your pet project. If things fuck up..." She shrugs her shoulder, looking like she's just as willing to dump people in the river as he is. "You can bring in the others, if you think they'll be useful."

Jason Todd has posed:
Jason chuckles. "Like I said, he'll have to grow some balls. He's gonna earn his place on the heap, then he'll get my help on enforcement. But that's a discussion for later." He shrugs again, then nods. "We'll see the group dynamic for ourselves. They're gonna get... invitations, and I get the feelin' they're gonna show, even if it's only 'cause they think they got a shot at takin' me down."

He chuckles, then sits up, sliding the booze and glasses away once she polishes hers off. "They'll make a decent base. Get others lookin' before we start wearing down Sionis and Falcone. Even if they just end up meatshields, they might prove somewhat useful. I know they can at least stack crates if nothin' else."

Rose Wilson has posed:
"Bodies to move goods is better then you or I haulin' shit around ourselves." Rose drops back in her chair, stretching her legs out in front of her, taking another drag from her cigarette. She leans her head back against the chair, blowing the smoke upwards in a thoughtful way.

"You want me there? When you invite them over for a playdate, that it."
