Synopsis:	Alexis and Sam in a loft apartment, discussing how to handle the other parent with Alexis's sudden departure from her father's home.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    Alexis Carr had been set up within ten hours, curtesy of her own bank account, with a new apartment, some sparse funishings, and a very modest kitchen set with a pub-style table and pair of chairs. Most deliveries and items were limited by the smallish stairway and sharp curves.

    The apartment, it turns out, used to be several offices and a dance studio. Alexis had jumped at the opportunity to live in the dance studio, with nearly floor-to-ceiling windows that are currently hung with a couple of second-hand sheets in cheery floral paterns.

    Alexis was sitting on a cable spool set with a chair cushion, playing a guitar while the rain falls outside.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie comes up to the apartment. He made sure Alexis was secure in their hotel room, but today she has texted him to meet her at this adress, and he finds himself coming up to the door to knock on it, and looking around the building a bit.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    The building was a bit run-down. The downstairs neighbors were offices that had been emptied, and the stairs creaked and protetested under Sam's weight as he comes up to the loft.

    "Coming!" Alexis calls out, and she draws up to the door, peering through the fish eye (newly installed), and then she unbolts the door from the inside.

    "Hey, Sam." she smiesl, rubbing the back of her head. "Ah... welcome home? Ish?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie steps inside looking a bit around for a moment, and then at Alexis, and slowly smiles. He takes her into his arms and gives her a kiss "So love you found a place you liked while I was out I take it?" He smiles at her. "Tell me what brought ya here?"

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "I got a reccomendation from an old friend." Alexis replies quietly, and she gives a shrug, and motions to the floor.

    "It was a dance studeio So it has plenty of room for practicing dancing. The floor is soundproofed thanks to all the dancers during the day." she breathes out, and rubs the back of her neck a moment, and she looks over the bed area, and shrugs. "Icouldn't carry a lot up, so ah... most things are pretty simple."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smiles a bit and says "Well when we get some stuff, I got a friend or two who can carry any of it up, long as the neighbors don't freak out at a jet black guy carrying couches one handed or the 7 foot tall native American carrying the fridge under one arm. He smiles at her, and says "So, whats my share of the rent love, and how much I owe ya for utilitiy deposits?

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "... I'm sorry, a what and a who?" Alexis pauses, sinking into a comfortable cross-legged seat on the floor, her eyebrow rising up a moment, and she leans back. "Ah... well as you know, my father's not exactly on good terms with m'mum, so I called her up and said 'Mum, I need space from my father'." Alexis states, and she motions. "So I have a 12-month lease on the space with opportunity to purchase within the year."

    And then, with the utmost seriousness she looks back to Sam and goes:

    "... besides. Ah. You don't want to know what half would be."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks to her, and says "Well, Ah am pretty sure Ah could borrow it from Berto, he is the one who would be jet black carrying stuff up. He has super strength in sorta an energy sheath form." " He smiles and says "Well Ah will put what Ah can towards the bills hon." He grins a bit and says "So show me around?"

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "What, delivering pizzas? You're still going to school, besides -- what use is having a rich girlfriend if I can't do some thing useful?" she questions with a shrug, and hops up. She walks over to the kitchenette. It's very, very compact. Two burners, little sink, small oven. Over-the-sink dish rack/storage, a couple of items hanging down. She's got a potted plant there. It looks real.

    "Here we have our luxurious kitchen, with the finest dish set that could be found at five o'clock yesterday afternoon in a rummage sale. They match, charmingly, mostly. I even found a tea set, still need a kettle, though." Alexis reflects.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods a bit to this and says "Well, I am sure we can go get one in a bit, maybe get one of the electric ones so can make it without using the stove. He smiles and says "So get a big gallon jug for ice tea as well?" He asks teasing her a bit but does look around making some mental notes of what else they need.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Ugh. No. Not allowing that in the house -- especially not Sweet Tea. That's like... drinking tea-flavored honey, only sweeter." she states with a wrinkle of her nose, clearly joking, but she draws Sam around to the side. There's a little alcove, which she pulls back a sliding door and opens a bathroom that is simply dominated by a huge, claw-foot tub. Seems she can't get away from them. The shower bit is movable, though Sam would have to stoop or pick up the showerhead to get anything above his shoulder wet. there's also an old fashioned toilet, where the tank is high up on the wall with a pull chain.

    "Here we have the loo, very important"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smiles and says "Looks like I may have to develop a stooped shower style." He teases stepping into the shower letting her see. "So, know if we are allowed to do any upgrades, remodeling?" He asks her.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Ah, I think after twelve months if we buy in?" Alexis replies, looking around a little bit. "Why are you going to stoop? We could just get you a stool. Or a shower chair." she offers with a slight grin.

     She comes out, and motions to the cable spool with the pillow and a couple of sitting cushions. "This, as you might have guessed, is our premium livingroom-diningroom-den-television room-library. Although we don't have furnishings or a telly, yet." she smiles with a little grin.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smiles and nods his head a bit to this and says "Spacious." He rubs his hand along her back, and says "If we want can put some temp walls up, if not just keep it wide open." He looks around and jokes a bit "Wanna go to walmart and get some inflatable furniture for our first furniture?"

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "I was considering maybe some divider screens? I'm sure I can find ones that we both agree on somewhere." she smiles, and then she pauses, and turns a horrified look to Sam as he mentions the inflatable furniture!

    "... absolutely /not/ Samuel Guthrie! ... you'll never catch *me* in a Wal-Mart. Everyone there looks so sad."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie says, "Well hon I hate to tell ya this but yea, we will probably have to do some walmart shopping, just from the fact they have everything almost and sometimes they are the only place you can find stuff. Walmart is not the best but back home they are the second leading employer just behind the mines and barely behind these days"

Alexis Carr has posed:
    Alexis makes a face. "And they pay poverty wages while raking in billions in in subsidies, it's a racket. Sam, so long as I am a Caradenza Sam, you will not have to shop there." she states very seriously, "... if I could I'd buy them out, but I would need /Stark/ money or Luthor, or both. Scrooge McDuck money." she adds quietly, muttering a moment as she lets out a breath, then looks to Sam again. "Care to see the last room in the house?" she asks with a little grin.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smirks a bit and says "Oh yes, the music room?" He will ask of her grinning that goofy ass grin of his. He walks along where she leads him happy to be with her.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Ah, that was rolled into the multi-purpose practice area. No, no this one's kinda better --" she trails off, and she brings Sam to the bedroom. There's a skylight above made with frosted glass (for privacy, so many fliers about!), and there is a sturdy platform bed.

    "I don't have a chest of drawers yet, most of the clothes I have are still in shopping bags..." Allegra trails off, and she give a wry little smile.

    The bed is very simple, with mismatched sheets and uncoordinated blankets of varying size.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smiles and says "Oh Ah think there will be some beautiful music made here too." He teases her a bit and moves to take her in his arms "It is wonderful hon, and the best part of it is your here. I will get my friends to help us get some other stuff, and if your ok with it will get them to put in a security system for us too.'

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "... oh. Yeah, that's.. that's probably a decent idea." Alexis admits, pausing and looking out over the big, empty room, and she rubs the back of her head as she hangs in Sam's arms.

    "... I'm sure my father thinks I was kidnapped."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods, and says "Well least you have talked to you Ma, so she knows the truth, did you call your grannies to let them know what was going on?

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Err... n-no. I told my mother I needed to 'find myself'. I didn't tell her I jumped out of a window hoping my mutant boyfriend would catch me. She probably would have flown directly from her engagement in London to retrieve me -- and neither my nan, nor nona and papa know about you. Yet."

    Alexis pauses, and sits down on the bed, picking up Errol Flynn and hold sthe one-eyed pirate lizard in her lap a moment. "I still need to figure out a way around that."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks to her, and sits down beside her "Hon, I know your worried about how they will take it, but you need to tell them the truth. You know your dad will tell them his side of things, and paint me as the bad guy and you as brain washed or something. If you want to keep relations with them you need to be up front and honest with them. Maybe not tell them you jumped out a window.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "The girl gives a small smile, and leans against Sam as she gives a huff.

    "You're right, you know." she mumbles, and then reaches up to ruffle against Sam's hair.

    "So... order a pizza, load up some music on a phone and maybe I'll teach you how to foxtrot?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smiles, and says "Or I can teach you to tango." He offers and kisses her gently, and moves to order the pizza.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    " -- where did you learn how to /tango/?!" Alexis asks incredulously, hopping up to follow Sam -- now this is something she'd have to see!
