Arthur Curry has posed:
There's an old lighthouse that is perched upon the edge of a rocky outcropping to the North of Amnesty Bay. It's a lighthouse that has been there for years, since the Republic was young and since pirates plyed their trade in these waters.
It's been cared for well over those years, the Curry family having come into it since the late fifties years ago and in that time it's been restored and maintained and now is a beautiful home that offers a place of respite to the remaining member of the Curry clan, as well as being a local landmark that many a ship had steered by on its way to the fishing harbor.
Only a handful of people know the place. Know of the man who lives there. A few of the heroes he's fought beside, a few of his friends that he's shown around. But beyond that not even the local town knows the story of Arthur Curry and his heritage, nor that they have an Atlantean who lives in their midst. Only a few have figured some of it out, but in Maine people tend to tend to their own business.
Yet tonight, the night after the holiday, the lights are on in that homestead. The two story home that connects to the tall lighthouse is awake and active, for Arthur spends a fair amount of his time here when he needs to rest, or recharge... or just gain perspective on the world. And with the snow falling, the chill outside, it was a lovely night to stay inside and get warm. Which is what he intended to do. Coffee percolated on the stovetop, a pot of chili burbled as it cooked, and Arthur?
He was seated on the widow's walk outside, legs up on the railing, smiling as he drank a bit of that coffee with both hands wrapped around the mug.

Koriand'r has posed:
The 'home' for Starfire, Princess turned warrior and former slave was...about as subtle as everything else about her. The Titan tower was well known to most and her returning there had been easily noticed, if not for the fact that when she travelled there was a glowing streak of commet light through the sky.

High above in the sky the 'shooting star' that would grab the gaze of the local villagers and perhaps prompt a wish or the utterance of a dream wasn't some comet or asteroid, instead Starfire's form weaves across the skyline and the ocean alike only to arc for the lighthouse.

There was no explosion, no heavy impact, only the sudden touch-down of the tall orange-skinned woman with the flaming hair behind the apparent hermit King of the Sea.

Arthur Curry has posed:
The night was not a clear one, perhaps she would catch the eye of one of the fishermen walking home in a staggered stroll, finding their way back to their house while still a bit in their cups. But otherwise it is feasible her comet-like arrival was unnoticed. Yet that was likely from the Winter snow that was falling this late at night.
Though when she landed she did so right in front of that old lighthouse, no strong impact, but her arrival marked and then greeted with a chuckle from that man rocked back on the rear two legs of his chair. Her return was enough to get him to lean forward, the chair's legs scraping on the snow on that porch and then he gained his feet, still holding that mug of coffee.
"Kori?" His gaze meets hers as he walks around the wooden fence that marks the line of that porch, moving to stand before the front door. "It's good to see you."
Then a beat as his brow furrows, "Is everything alright?" Instinctively he checks his cell, no alert, no warnings had come through.
