Date of Scene: 27 December 2021
Location: Coffee of DOOM
Synopsis: Emma Frost and Clint Barton talk over coffee while Emma attempts to awe him.
Cast of Characters: Emma Frost, Clint Barton

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost doesn't normally drop by such establishments, but sometimes variety is the spice of life. The blonde has come in wtih a mink coat on just to emphasize more how wealthy she is, and now is sitting over at a table. As if she is gracing this establishment wtih her majestic presence. Gesturing over at the waiters with the expectation of immedaite, high quality service while presenting as regal a form as possible.

Clint Barton has posed:
Completely opposite of Emma Frost, into the DOOM cafe walks in Clint Barton. The Hawkeye, as people have seen him on the news before with bow in hand and arrow typically at full draw. Word is he's never missed a shot in his life. Even if he's one of the less impressive Avengers (compared to guys like Thor or Hulk or even Captain Marvel), an Avenger he still is. But he doesn't dress like he owns the place.

He wealks in, dressed in a black shirt and a simple jacket worn with it, some simple jeans and some decent shoes. Honestly, he looks out of place in this cafe, which was slightly on the upscale end but not terribly so.

Whoever owns this place knows not to segregate customers by their paycheck.

But Clint gets himself in line, and its hard not to notice the lady in white and how -bombshell- gorgeous she is. But Clint's learned that people of that kind of stature, figure, looks, whatever - are often extremely dangerous.

Emma Frost has posed:
Why is someone like that present here? Does this establishment occasoinally let in the riff-raff? Well, Emma's not that particularly bad. So when she has a moment to glance and identify the man after running his face through her memory, she would gesture up at him to hold a finger and indicate her table. She has no particular reason to invite him over (nor any say in whether he would accept it) but seeing an Avenger out in public means it's a rare chance to get some information that she might not be aware of.

So Emma Frost would look relaxed, even as she would put in an order for a fancy coffee spiked over with rum for herself and reclining back in her chair, pulling her mink coat just a litlte more around her.

Clint Barton has posed:
Aaaaaaand the ridiculously pretty lady is calling him over.

Clint takes a moment to clear his throat, as if weighing his options, but after he gets his coffee, he decides to approach. What's the harm, after all? So his steps draw him closer, and he gives her a friendly smile. "Hey there. Enjoying the day in your probably-more-expensive-than-this-building coat?" Clint asks her with humor lining his tone.

Not meant to be disrespectful, more like testing the waters.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would just smile at Clint, "Why yes, I am. And it's considerably more expensive than this building, and most of the contents inside of it." Someone is very, very good about showing off. "So,w hat pray tell brings an Avenger to an establishment such as this?" In another place, she might ask as to how he might afford somewhere like this. Did their expense account go that high?

Clint Barton has posed:
Clint whistles a little bit. "Well, damn I wasn't expecting to be right, just saying you look like you should be in Rockefeller Plaza or something on one of the giant billboards of some spectacular product or something.' Yes, Clint has said that she should be a model. Whether she actually is one is quite up for debate, because not every beautiful woman is a model, but it is what it is.

Though she asks what brings an Avenger to this establishment and Clint shrugs. "Coffee, mainly." He smirks at Emma. "I'm not rich, for sure, but this place?" He takes a loud sip of his coffee as he pulls up a chair. "Really knows how to make their coffee." He informs then.

"But how about you? You look like a CEO."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would smile, "Why thank you. I'm Emma Frost, CEO of Frost Enterprises." She wouldn't extend a hand over, but hopefully the name and her corporation would identify itself. If not.. W ell, there was no particular reason why it should be memorable to him perhaps so there might be no surprise.

"Only the best. I like to think of myself of the best. And I'm quite happy that you approve."

Clint Barton has posed:
Clint seems to raise his brows a little bit. "Wow, that's impressive. You even have your own company." Clint was just a guy with a bow and arrow. He should really start a business, maybe a shop for selling archery equipment. It wouldn't make him super rich, but you never know, it might renew some interest in archery.

...archery is cool!

"Well, nice to meet you Emma. Can I call you Emma?" Clint asks, though he hums. "Seems you already know me, but I'm Clint. Nice to meet you." He takes a long sip of his coffee. "What does Frost Enterprises specialize in?"

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would just smile, "You may call me Emma." There was a time for formalities.. But this was hopefully cultivating a contact, one easily impressed.. And knowing someone in the Avengers could hopefully be an asset, even if a minor one.

"The Avengers are great heroes, along with the Justice League.. I find it good to be aware of them." Honest enough from a business standpoint.

Because that's what it was to her, business.

"Frost Enterprises is a large multinational company wtih a rather extensive portfolio of products and research."
