Cast of Characters: Viola Fiore, Sebastian Shaw

Viola Fiore has posed:
Viola Fiore makes a few final changes - or she hopes they are final anyway - on the party plans that she's been working on. They have technically been final since the night before. But little details spring to mind that she makes tiny adjustments for. Even once approved, those minor changes will go on right up to the event itself.

Assuming it's approved that is. Viola glances up and around the Dungeon-themed club, where people are drinking and carousing and various states of attire often more risque then one might see on the streets. Bodies lit by torchlight, that have Viola using a dark theme on her tablet she's working on to not have its light ruin the ambiance.

Also why she's chosen the dark corner table with blinds that can be drawn around it, easier to see out through than in, though they are open for now so the Club's presiding officer can find her. Viola has a drink in front of her, knowing from experience that drinking on the job isn't frowned on here, and in fact she'd probably be offered one if she didn't already have it when Sebastian Shaw gets here.

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
Sebastian Shaw is not one to keep a lady waiting. He strides into the club -- with a cute younger woman on his arm, or, at least with his arm wrapped around her waist -- and glides in the direction of where Viola is sitting. He leans in to murmur something to his companion, giving her hip a squeeze, before he lets her go and walks the last few paces to Viola's table alone.

"I must say, it has been far too long since we've spent any time together, Ms. Fiore. I was very glad to receive your message this afternoon requesting a meeting." Shaw says, waiting at the edge of the table. He owns the dance hall. The Club. The whole building. But, he's polite enough to wait for an invitation before he slides into a seat next to the woman.

Viola Fiore has posed:
Viola Fiore's face lights up at the sight of Sebastian Shaw, the smile a genuine one as she rises to greet him, giving the man a kiss on each cheek before retaking her seat as he slides in beside her. "I am sure taking care of the Club plus your other interests is a 24/7 endeavor for you," Viola says. "I've been happy with the events I've been able to work with the Club on in the meantime though," she tells him.

Once they are both seated, she slides her tablet over where Shaw can view it. "Mr. Thropmorton, having a birthday party and he wants it be a memorable one," she says. She swipes forward from the opening screen where there's a high level summary of the party, and the various party favors and activities that the man has requested. Old money, the best kind, who has his fingers in any number of industries. The kind of person it is good to have influence with.

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
Sebastian Shaw laughs lightly, "I mean, it keeps me off of the street," he replies with a wink, before he settles in next to Viola, perhaps a little closer than absolutely necessary to take a look at the party planning that she is doing on her screen. He reaches out and flicks through a few of the sketches she has done, considering.

As he does so, he asks, "I assume he has no budget for this, as a fiftieth party is one that you do not...limit yourself on if you do not have to." He looks over to Viola and asks, "Which of these designs are you leaning towards? And how much of my Club would you need to take over for this?"

Viola Fiore has posed:
"It would all be a private affair, away from the public areas of the club," Viola says. Though the list of things that the man is seeking would immediately have made that clear on its own. "One of the larger suites in the party area. I think the weather will probably preclude him wanting to go with the Grotto area, heated though the water is, it's still outdoors," she says, "And a little too cold probably for an actual party instead of just a dip."

She motions to a list of alcohol, food, and other spends that would be involved. "Nothing egregious financially, about what we would do for a member of his standing anyway. Just catering to his, ah, particular tastes," Viola says. Her cheeks take on just a tiny bit of color. As she probably had to hear those from the man.

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
"Share those with me later, will you? It is always good to know...just what the clientele is most interested in." Shaw replies, before he idly reaches out and starts to tug one of the blinds to the table closed. He nods at the comment about the Grotto. "I wouldn't send anyone out into that right now either, unless it's what they /really/ wanted."

The man then says, "You have my approval for it, so long as everything stays under the radar. But, I am sure I can count on your usual level of discretion." His hand moves away from her drawing tablet, and he leans back in the booth, looking the woman next to him over slowly, "May I ask why it's been so long since you've been around the Club? We've missed seeing your...blushing cheeks."

Viola Fiore has posed:
The young woman gives a small shake of her head. "I've been here, sir, just attending to smaller matters than the larger soirees that you used to evaluate my skills with," she tells him. "I've handled a number of college football events, alumni groups among the members, a few bachelor parties. I wasn't sure if you had specific plans for Valentine's Day? Seemed like that would probably the kind of day the members would be off with their wives rather than here," she says with a knowing grin.

Viola takes a sip of her drink. "But I was glad when I saw this was an event that should get your personal approval sir. It has been too long since I've had the chance to see you."

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
"Valentine's day is not one of our better days, you're right...I have thought about running a Lupercalia event, but I don't think there would be a great deal of interest...plus we may run too far afoul of the City's indecency laws should we practice the old rites..." Shaw says, trailing off. Though it is clear from the somewhat wistful look in his eyes that he's thought of at least a few members taking part in such a display.

He then ahhs, "I thought you had gone off on a bit of a sabbatical, but I suppose I have been too busy to notice the smaller work you've been involved in. The day to day operation as it were. Either way, you do know you have a standing invitation to visit me in the Penthouse, as I find it a slightly more..enjoyable place to do business. Though, this has it's charms..." he says as a skimpily clad waitress saunters by the booth.

Viola Fiore has posed:
Viola's eyes follow the waitress for a moment too, and she can't help a smile both wry and amused. "Quite a few charms from what I've seen," she says, the staff all definitely chosen for their physical desirability as well as their demeanor and occupational skills. Whether that be waiting tables or other things.

"I am still working part time here, well, more like quarter time probably," she says. "But that seems to be enough to meet the needs. And allows me to continue to build my outside practice with my partner. The holidays were extremely busy as you can imagine. And Jennifer was in line to do most of the Christmas events here, so I just made myself available to her," Viola explains.

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
"Perhaps I will have to have you and Jennifer over for an evening, to see about the next gala that we should hold here." Shaw replies, as he watches Vi's eyes follow the waitress. He does not press the point, but instead reaches around and closes the other side of the blinds, "Though, perhaps I might speak with you about something a little more...private..." he suggests, "Here if you wish, or elsewhere if you prefer..."

Viola Fiore has posed:
"Well, Mardi Gras is around the corner as well," she comments. "Which, wow that will actually be a year for that I've been involved here. That was the first event you had me plan, as I recall," she says. "We can definitely begin work on preparations for something for that if you'd like. It certainly does fit with the mood of the Club," she says, glancing around at the room that's modeled after a dungeon. A man walks by wearing leather bikini bottoms and a mask. "Mr. Jensen really does love this part of the club," she comments with a small smile that she hides behind her hand. He's not quite the sort to be in male bikini bottoms.

Viola nods her head. "Certainly sir," she tells him. She takes back her tablet and closes up the documents. "I'll talk to Mr. Thropmorton and let him know the party is on," she replies.
