Vegan Pizza 4 Alien Tummy!

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
She's feeling better after pushing herself physically way too far in her last little excursion. So Sarah Rainmaker has had to accept that forcibly reviewing things again and again is not making her analysis any more productive. So she's taken herself out for the afternoon. And is heading to one of the best pizza places in the city. It's easy to get around when you can fly and don't have to bother with the subway, no matter the chaos there might be. So, wearing a long jacket over her outfit, Sarah Rainmaker is heading in to the pizza place and sniffing happily at the smells.

Karolina Dean has posed:
Karolina's begun frequenting this place since she settled in Greenwhich. Thankfully, like Sarah, she can fly. She usually lands in an alleyway a bit away and shifts back to her human form before heading to the delicious place. Currently she's sipping a bottle of water while waiting for her pizza order. The tall, slender blonde is dressed in skinny jeans, cute flats, and a trendy half-hoofy and croptop, leaving her tummy bare. It works for her, and is quite stylish. She glances up as Sarah enters, offering a casual smile. The place is PACKED right now...leaving very few places to sit. It's cafeteria style seating, and currently the only open spots are near the blonde.

The place is packed, and Sarah Rainmaker goes to happily sniff at the pizza. The cute blonde going past gets a smile from her and a wiggle of her fingers as she would mouth 'hello there' as she would halfway turn her attention. The girl looks far too cute for words.. And definitely taken with her luck. Still no reason can't apprecaite the view..

The look from Sarah makes her blush a hint, and she smiles a bit wider. She waits for Sarah to place her order before she raises a hand. "Hey! So, uh. If you're eating here I have room at my table. No pressure. If you're getting it to go, then, uh...sorry." Her accent isn't local. Pure California.,

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would smile over at Karolina, "Oh, no, that's totally fine. I'm uh new in town but not passing through but not staying err.." She feels like a teenager. She shouldn't be this bashful. "And sure, my treat. What would you like?"

Karolina Dean has posed:
She blinks at that and then grins. "I already ordered, but that's sweet of you. I got a small vegan pizza. It takes a bit to make..." Karolina trails off and shrugs a slender shoulder. "New in town? Got it. I've been living in the area for a bit now. Well, a year or so.."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would smile, "Well, if you don't mind my getting some meat." she would add, "And I'm very fine if you'd rather me not just getting some cheese." Offering that if the other girl felt better with that.

Karolina Dean has posed:
Karolina waves that off quickly. "I'm over my preachy phase, don't worry." Her grin is playful before she gestures to the seat across from her once Sarah has put her order in.

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would laugh, "Preachy phase? I'm going to have to remember to use that one when someone goes on about me and my causes. I'll cover the next order you get if I can steal that to use."

Karolina Dean has posed:
"It's yours. And you can cover my next bottle of water," she says with a small grin. She waits for Sarah to settle into her seat before she offers a hand. "Karolina. Nice to meet you. This place is awesome. You're lucky to have stumbled in here, trust me."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would just grin at Karolina. "That totally works for me." And smiling and sliding into the seat, and offering her hand over. "i'm Sarah. So what brought you to stay in Grenwich? You ana rtist?"

Karolina Dean has posed:
She smiles softly, lightly shaking the hand. She's very warm. "Oh, nothing like that. I mean, I wish. That would be extremely cool. No, I'm idle. I just...collect royalties from my late parents. They were actors," she explains, and shrugs a shoulder. "More then enough to live well. I know it isn't exactly glorious, but..."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would shake the hand then and for some reason 'ooh'. "You're very warm. That's lovely on a day like today." she would flush just a little bit. "I'm glad that your'e setup to live well then Karolina." Torn on asking who her parents were, and well enough aware that it was probably rude.

Karolina Dean has posed:
"Yeah, I just run a little hot." The blonde shrugs and then glances up as her pizza is brought out. A small vegan. It smells delicious, honestly. "Thanks."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would ooh, "I see. Living live on the edge. So what other things are you hot at? I'd hope you're not uncomfortable in the summer." Her own pizza being a bit quicker to come out, if only as it was something simpler to make.

Karolina Dean has posed:
"Naaaaah. I loved the beach back in LA. Couldn't keep me away from it. I love the sun. But...can't really do the same on an East Coast beach. Well, not this time of year, anyways."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would let out a sigh, "In general. The beaches here aren't known for the best weather. At least on a regular basis. I.. Stayed at La Jolla for a very short time. Gorgeous, but the prices were hrorible just to stare at."

Karolina Dean has posed:
She grins softly and nods. "Mostly the Hills for me. San Diego is nice, though, yeah. I spent some time down there with friends one Summer." She brushes her fingers back through her long hair, a medical alert bracelet visible on a wrist. She eats, but slowly and in between conversation. "So, what do you do?"

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would smile, "I never did more than pass through there. Heard it's nice. Very nice." Her having to restrict where her eyes were going, to snap them back up over to her conversatoin partner. Glancing at the medical alert bracelet. "You have seizures?" Then replying to the question. "Kind of between jobs. was going to crash with a friend in the city that's been kind fo thrown into question. They were from Manhattan."

Karolina Dean has posed:
She glances at the alert bracelet and then tucks her arm down, as if embarassed by it. "Oh, something like that." She winces at the mention of Manhattan. "Oh, man. That sucks. I hope they're okay. That whole thing is..." She shakes her head, unable to really think of what to say. "Well, we just met or I'd offer you my couch. Might come off a bit weird, though."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would laugh, "OH yeah, they're fine. Just kind of put them off on being able to help me get around. And I have a place to stay. " Quickly elaborating. "I just don't want to take advnatage of them for too long if I'm not being useful. And you are really cute but not on a first date, oh pizza girl."

Karolina Dean has posed:
She laughs. "I was offering my couch, but my bed. Yeesh. But...I'm honored you think I'm cute." She winks and continues to eat her pizza, washing it down here or there with her bottled water. "And yeah, I bet. I remember growing up in California...we had the wildfires every year or so. Always displacing people."

Sarah Rainmaker would laugh, "I happen to think quite a few things but thank you. And I'm from one of the Indian reservations. Apache." Presuming the different reservation's names might not have much meaning to Karolina.

Karolina Dean has posed:
"Oh, wow. I did a bunch of social work on the Barona Res as a kid. Clean needles for addicts and fresh water, since the water system was screwed..." The blonde trails off and glances down. "Um, yeah. Anyways...that's cool."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would sigh, "Your heart's in the right place. All of the reservations have way to omuch tragedy on them and not enough resources or spirit to help lift them out. It's.. Hard to go back to. I haven't been home in years."

Karolina Dean has posed:
She nods to that. "The tribes got screwed bad enough that it's been pretty impossible to pull themselves back up. But...kinda preaching to the choir." She finishes her little pizza and sits back, letting out a contented sigh.

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would sigh and give a sad nod, "I just an't stand to go back there. It's just.. It's too depressing and I know if I try and stay there it will just drag me down. That's not fair to them or my family.."

Karolina Dean has posed:
"I'm not judging. I don't want to go back to LA, so I get it." She pauses. "Well, your situation is a lot worse, but...I just mean I get not being able to go home." She offers an apologetic smile.

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would sigh, "Yeah. I can and.. At some point I really should. Just to figure out if there's anything I can do or I can contribute. But.. I don't have to yet. I have my own things to figure out first."

Karolina Dean has posed:
She nods. "Sounds selfish, but you should focus on you for awhile. Make sure you're where you need to be, then you'll be in a better spot to help other people. At least...that's what I try to tell myself.."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would smile, "Thanks." She would take a hand over to try and squeeze Karolain's. "You're really wise along with being really cute. So you're definitely coming out ahead in my book, girl who invited me to her couch."

Karolina Dean has posed:
The girl smirks a bit at that and squeezes back. "You know, you can just call me Karolina. Might be a bit easier. And I don't think anyone has really called me wise, before." She laughs softly.

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would laugh, "Fair enough Karolina. I suppose that is a better name than Pizza Girl. You're still incredibly cute as one. So tell me aobut yourself, Karolina."

Karolina Dean has posed:
She blinks and considers a little bit. "Um, well. Grew up in Los Angeles. I was annoying. Wealthy white liberal. You know the type. I mean...I still -am-, but I realise I was a hypocrite about some stuff and try to do better, is all. I was a kid." She glances down at her empty plate. "Parents passed away and I ended up running away. Well, I ran away and then my parents passed. I'd rather not pry into that right now. Ran around with some other kids for awhile, and eventually...pulled myself out of all that and here I am. Not...exciting," she lies.

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would glance at Karolina, "It takes awhile to figur ethings out. And we all have to start off somewhere. I"m.. Sorry about you losing your parents. I can only imagine what that was like." That's a lie. She knows eactly what that was like. But it's also not something that she would drop in casual conversation either.
