Cast of Characters: Daisy Johnson, Matthew Murdock

Daisy Johnson has posed:
The Moon. If someone asked Daisy if she'd expect to be here at all one year ago she would had laughed in their faces. Well, maybe if she was visiting the Justice League base or something. But to have an actual Inhuman city in the moon? Hidden and away from prying eyes? It was paradise to the SHIELD Agent.

It also meant that the first thing she did once they settled in was to sneak into Matt's room. Much like she did when they were in the orphanage. "Hey..." she whispered to him. "Let's go take a look around the city, I think I can get us without some silly escort on our tail.."

Always looking to sneak out and explore on her own this Daisy!

Evading the palace guards hadn't been too hard with Matt's help and now they were on their way to the Market Quarter. "You know, I thought Blackagar was just being a snob when he was talking about our tech down on earth, but this place is sorta amazing.." she tells Matt while describing another technological marvel they go past.

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Matt's ambitions were entirely terrestrial for his entire life, he might have had an astronaut phase as a kid, but once he lost his sight, he figured he wasn't going to be going 'where no man has gone before'.

It goes to show anything is possible.

When Daisy joins him in his room he's listening to news reports from Earth, frowning at the casualties in New York. Daisy's visit and the prospect of exploring the city was a welcome reprieve from stewing in guilt.

"Count me in," he says simply and joins Daisy, helping them past the guards.

By the time he's in the market he's relaxed, just enjoying hearing Daisy describe all the things around them and letting his own senses tell their stories too. After all if you were on a city on the moon, you might as well make the most of it.

"Seems like he wasn't exaggerating," he agrees with a smile. "Still smug about it though," he says of Attilan's ruler. "Even if it's justified." Stepping closer to Daisy he asks quietly. "So how much of the tech do you plan on taking home?"

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"He's a King." Daisy points out, "I think it's in their blood or something... nose up, eyebrow raised just so to show smugness." the woman says while they walk through the long corridors that pertain the market quarter. She has, of course, led them closer to the underbelly, past all the big avenues and big stuff. She wants to see the gritty underneath. And it's also where she knows she will find the most interesting things.

As for how much she plans to take back home? "Oh, enough to blow some minds.." she confesses, "Well, not literally of course. That would be just awful. But you know..." she hooks one arm in with him, giving the man a small bump with her hip.

"I know this must be hard for you. Well, to both of us." She tells him, frowning a touch, "But we are doing good here. People are settling in, the shield vaults that were brought are safe. Even Karen and Foggy seem to be enjoying it. Sometimes we don't have to be in the front lines all the time." a pause and she makes a face. "Ugh, I am starting to sound like my mother." never a good thing.

All around them there's the buzz buzz of business being made, voices heard here and there, senses able to pick up quite a good number of people around them even if there's a big silence otherwise. No nature to speak of. It creates quite the contrast from the norm.

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Matt chuckles. "Guess so," he says. "Weird they have a king with all this technology, figured they'd have moved to something more modern." As they draw closer to the Underbelly, sensing the closer quarters, the state and moods of the people. "Didn't think they'd have a Hell's Kitchen either," he observes with a bit of a smile. "Wonder if they've got a blind inhuman jumping around the place in red."

"Jaiying, is that you?" he jokes pretending to feel Daisy's face to confirm it's her and not her mother on his arm. He laughs then, "You're not wrong, I I just feel responsible for the Kitchen and what happens to it." Though he does allow, "But yes Karen and Foggy are definitely enjoying themselves, not sure how much Blackagar wants to keep things under wraps so he might want to have someone ask to see Foggy's phone, wouldn't be great if his secret moon city ends up all over Twitter when we get home."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Oh? Are you preparing a revolution against monarchy?" Daisy questions, still in a low tone. "I will join you, we can live under the city and be true renegades.." she jokes, even if it makes her look at the ground, thoughtful. "Even if I *do* wonder how deep the city goes. We have seen most of what's on the surface but .., there must be more under it." her voice gaining that wanderlust that is telling. She will be exploring the city thoroughly. Sooner or later.

The touching on her face when she is confused with her mother gets an elbowing out of Daisy. "Very funny." she grins, a moment later she laughing too and reaching up to wrap an arm around Matt and bring him for a kiss.

"Yes, they really can't let it be known about their presence here. But .., I believe Blackagar wants to reveal the Inhumans to the world .., sooner rather than later."

She stops at a small shop. "Oooh, what do we have here?" there is a slight hum coming from within, power sources most likely, vibrating with power. She appears to have noticed it and it wouldn't go amiss to Matt's senses either.

Matthew Murdock has posed:
"I majored in constitutional law, what can I say I have a thing for revolution and self-evident truths," Matt says smiling. The wander lust makes Matt smile all the more broadly. He takes a moment to concentrate. "I'd say there's a lot down there, I'm game to check it out, we can pick where we want to put our renegade hide out."

Nodding about Blackagar's plans he say, "I understand, Foggy will keep quiet, that kind of reveal is delicate and even though Foggy will be dying to tell people about going to the moon, he can keep a secret when he needs to."

This kiss is returned and Matt follows on after they break apart from that lingering kiss, his hearing picking up that hum. "What is it?" he asks Daisy trusting her to be his eyes on this one.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"We can always blackmail him.." Daisy suggests, "Maybe one of those uncomfortable truths that he always shuts you up when we are having dinner at the dragon with Karen." a grin. It wasn't the first time that had happened! But then again, she is also joking. Maybe! Perhaps she is getting as ruthless as Bobbi!

Reaching down to pick one up she turns it around in her hands. "Uh...." a moment while she looks at it, thoughtful. "It mostly looks like a jury-rigged thing but it resonates with power. You can feel it, can't you?" she furrows her brows, "It almost feels like a beacon. I am definitely taking this one." she cants her head to the side. "Can you hear this..?"

There's a subtle vibration that seems to come up when Daisy picks up the tech device, then another when Daisy makes the device vibrate and it resonates. She gasps and falls back. For a moment it felt as if there was another entity there with them.

"I think .., whatever is in here it might of the same material of the goblet." she says, "The one where Master Fu and the others were."

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Laughing Matt says, "And here I thought I was supposed to be the shark?" teasing. "I'm sure I can talk him into it," he tells her.

His attention is fully on the device listening to the vibrations until he jumps back as for a moment he could swear there was someone else standing there with them. 'Did you..." he begins to ask before she tells him what the thing might be made of. "I can believe it, did you sense someone here a second ago?"

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Look, what can I say? I am learning with the best.." This about the shark comment. Yet Daisy's focus goes totally to the device after. She still appears to be a touch stunned after the effect.

"Someone else here?" She looks at the Inhuman that's selling the merchandise, who is looking at her oddly. Daisy brings out some money. Money she got out of Blackagar of course. And then dumps it on the man's hands. She isn't even sure if it's too much. "We will take this one, yea?"

"I didn't sense anyone." She tells Matt with a shake of her head, "Yet if you felt it then maybe it means the spirits aren't as lost as we thought originally." that excites her.

"Come on, lets go deeper in and find the best hide outs here. And when we are back I think we got something to study." she says.

Matthew Murdock has posed:
"The best huh?" Matt asks, smiling. "Who's that?" nope, totally not fishing for compliments?

Then his attention turns to the device and rests there as Daisy purchases it for whatever amount of coin she puts in the man's hands.

"Definitely felt like someone was here, so, we should probably be careful with that thing, remember what you told me happened to yours and Jemma's room?" he asks before following along deeper into the underbelly.
