Cast of Characters: Shredder, Michelangelo
Cast of NPCs: Deniah, Little Renny

Shredder has posed:
Deniah's been moving up the ranks of the Foot. Her form is excellent. She's been a fast learner. A very fast learner. Though she's only 24, she has bested people with years of experience past herself. It's been good, since she has to take care of a four year old by herself. Her son has health issues, and something needs to pay for it. Something she doesn't tell people who don't have to know. Sometimes other members will watch her son while she's on mission. Honestly, she doesn't trust most of the lower level recruits. A few of them have a gift with Little Renny, but most of them are just delinquents.

It's all going to change after tonight's mission. She's been offered an opportunity to jump to the status of assassin. She just has to do something that the Foot has been itching to see happen for some time. She has to kill a turtle. Finding them is hard, but she knows that at least one of them has a certain appetite for pizza and visits some of the local establishments frequently. So here she is, sitting in a pizzeria. She isn't wearing anything that would give her away. Just an auburn haired woman in an old blue coat coat while she sits opposite the little dark haired boy, munching on their pizza.

Michelangelo has posed:
"Freddy B! My main man with the pizza pan!"

The door to Angelo's Pizza is open wide and in strides... a dude in a trenchcoat and hat. It's a long trenchcoat that tries its best to hide as much of his body as possible. Though, there might be some people that notice this 'man' isn't wearing any shoes. He's also got on a fedora that's pulled as low as possible. There are hints of green and potentially orange may flicker here and there but the majority of him is covered as much as he can.

The trenchcoated NOT-TURTLE HONEST just strides right up to the counter to get his usual order. "Hey! How's Angelo feeling, dude? Still all sniffled up?" The totally tubular talk is brought up to the kid at the counter that often handles this huge stack of pizza purchase whenever this DEFINITELY HUMAN arrives to get it.

As a FELLOW HUMAN, he doesn't seem to pay attention to any other patrons at the moment.

Shredder has posed:
Deniah glances up, and looks down at the feet of the person who strolls to the counter. Those... are definitely not human feet. She leans across the table. "Renny, I need you to stay here for just a moment," she says. "Eat your pizza, and don't talk to anyone. I'll be right back, I'm just going to the potty." She wishes she didn't have to bring him with her. The city is a dangerous place, and her work is dangerous, but what else is she going to do? There's no other options for her right now. She has to finish this mission. Then everything will be fine.

Deniah gets up, and walks past Michaelangelo. She doesn't go to the bathroom, though, she slips out the front door, reaching up to grab the hammer on the bell as she opens it so that it doesn't chime. She positions herself against the brick wall, not viewable from door or window, and waits for the turtle to exit.

Michelangelo has posed:
Transactions finished and cool handshakes exchanged, Mikey (THE HUMAN) hoists the seven pizza boxes up onto one hand and makes his way toward the door. "Alright, Freddy B! Tell Angelo Mikey said I miss him! With all my pepperoni flavored heart!" There's a wink and a fingergun before he just backs his way on out of the door and into the street.

"Go Ninja, Go Ninja, Go." Mikey just kind of whistles this jaunty tune to himself as prepares to spin around and get his walk to the nearest alley on. The nearest alley with sewer access that is...

Shredder has posed:
Deniah doesn't want this to take long. Her move is unfair. It's dirty, and it's brutal. As soon as Mikey clears the door, she pulls a kurisama from her coat, and slings the weighted end of the chain at Mikey to try to wrap it around his neck and swing him into the brick wall. If she can disorient him, perhaps she can end this quickly.

Michelangelo has posed:
    "WHOA!"

Luckily for Mikey he's not exactly paying attention. Then again, when is Michelangelo ever really paying attention. The process in which he drops the pizzas down into both hands so that he may smell the deliciousness happens in the same moments that this dang kurisama slinging in his direction. Thus, unintentional pizza block!

    "Saved by the Stuffed Crust."

Michelangelo looks up and over, following the chain as he just tosses the pizzas (almost reluctantly) into the air so that he can drop and spin away from the weapon but also in Deniah's direction. "Wait a second, lady! Relax! You can have the pizza!" Mikey holds his hands up as he tries to back away a bit. "I can go to Ray's. My punch card's almost full." He knows this isn't about pizza but he's also getting himself in a position where he has a bit more room. "See?" He reaches into his pocket for his punch card and comes out with a smokebomb that he throws at Deniah's feet! NINJA VANISH! distraction time!

Shredder has posed:
Deniah seems to be far better than most average Foot soldiers, if that's what she is. She doesn't engage in the banter, but with a grit on her face she strikes again, from inside the smoke she bursts forth, using the cover to hide her own attack to prevent the escape. She has to succeed. Her eyes are burning from the smoke, but there's a certain desperate vigor about her presence that isn't there for your average mook.
Of course, the explosion of smoke inside did cause her son inside to look up, and tilt his head to try to see what is going on. He takes another bite of his pizza, and carries it with him as he starts to wander to the door.

Michelangelo has posed:
Cutting through the smoke will show that there is nothing there. The TRENCHCOATED HUMAN is totally gone. Vanish like ninja! Totally nowhere to be found at al--

    "BANZAI!"

Michelangelo probably shouldn't be announcing himself but it looks like he has leaped off the rooftop or at least from clinging to the sign and is aiming a swift flying kick to the back of Deniah's head. Well, it might be somewhere else with his unceremonious screaming leading the way but if there was any doubt in his humanity there's none now.

    That's a full-on turtle leg. And foot.

Shredder has posed:
Deniah takes the foot to the head, turning just in time to see it as it connects with her face. She grabs hold of it, a little dazed, and tries to pull Mikey off the sign by the leg. "Get back here coward!" she demands. "Fight me!"

Little Renny has made it to the door now, and his eyes go wide as his mother is fighting... a monster! Being the brave boy that he is, he attacks! His pizza slice goes soaring through the air right at the giant turtle monster as he throws it with all of his strength!

Michelangelo has posed:
    "Whoa! Hey! Leggo!"

Mikey gets yanked down because there's a pizza slice headed in his direction and there's no way he's going to just let a pizza slice splat against a fake pizza slice above one of his favorite pizzerias. It's just rude.

"Thanks little dude!" The pizza is caught and Mikey shoves it into his mouth with a hungry scarfing sound. He looks back at Deniah and pulls his foot free from her grasp to plant himself firmly on the ground in some sort of non-fighting stance. But he's flexing his muscles. It's weird.

"I've had all I can stands and I can't stands no more!" He's quoting Popeye, guys. And his hat fell off so now he's got his full turtle head showing.

    +1 PIZZA POWER UP!

Shredder has posed:
Deniah takes the quote as an opportunity to attack again, slinging the bladed end of the kurisama out to try to catch the turtle by the shell, though it's likely not to be able to penetrate the way it would on a person.

Meanwhile, Renny comes to the defense of his mother, fists flying to attack the horrible monster. He runs through the dissapating smoke, and is caught short. He starts coughing. So much for that assault.

Michelangelo has posed:
When the blade smacks against his shell and rips the trenchcoat through a bit, "Hey! I just waxed that!"

TMichelangelo is trying to stay on defense here because he has no idea why this woman is attacking him and he could probably take her down super fast but he's not trying to hurt anyone. Not really. He just wants to get his pizzas and go home to eat them. All.

Hopefully the one that got hit was Leonardo's.

"Y'know, you're super quiet for somebody that's trying to kill a fellow human being." Mikey may not have noticed that his hat is off. So he just keeps backpedalling to keep himself out of kurisama distance. He knows it because he also uses it. "Have you thought about contacting Dr. Phil about these anger issues? It worked for Oprah!"

Out of the corner of Mikey's eye, he notices the traffic light change nearby and the traffic starts to move. In this direction.

Shredder has posed:
Deniah looks more and more desperate, slinging a look over her shoulder as she hears Renny's cough. "Renny, back inside!" she yells. She has to end this immediately. She takes a three stride approach to find a pacing so that her advance reaches her on a mid-step for Michelangeo. Point match. She grabs him in an arm lock at the shoulder and takes one more step for four, and pivots, a perfect sling to throw Mikey into the oncoming traffic, even though it throws her off her own feet to swing him that hard.

The thing is, the people driving aren't zombies, and the cab that was traveling a little too fast can't stop in time. So he veers. The car jumps the curb, straight toward the little coughing boy.

Michelangelo has posed:
    "WHOA!"

Mikey's been leaning on that word a lot lately. Which is why the grab and throw combo (which he recognizes because uh, yeah, same ninjutsu) has him sailing through the air and towards the oncoming traffic.

But that's where Mikey's Turtle Sense kicks in and also the slow motion begins. Mikey's body twists in the air as he prepares to make his landing but seeing the shenanigans about to unfold, there's time to grab his own kurisama-chaku combo and fling it to hook into the Angelo's sign. Mikey's strength pulls the chain up short and he yanks himself from through the air and in the direction of Little Renny.

    "Comin' Little Dude!"

Michelangelo swings on some Tarzan Turtle Ish and reaches to snatch Little Renny up by the collar and out of the way of oncoming cab! "Gotcha'!"

Now let's hope this ride doesn't crash into Angelo's!

Shredder has posed:
"RENNY!" That got Deniah to talk. Her eyes are wide in horror as the impending doom of her son seems unevadable. She scrambles, trying to get to her feet, though there's clearly no time. The cab hits a parking meter which pops up into the airm spewing change across the sidewalk as the cabby tries desperately to hit his brakes. And then, a green shelled angel sweeps the boy to the side just in time. The boy is stunned. Deniah is stunned. The cabby is stunned. There is silence for several seconds from all of them. Deniah jumps to her feet, and rushes toward Michelangelo. It's not an attacking sprint this time, though. It's one heading straight for Renny. The run of a terrified mother, not of an assassin.

Michelangelo has posed:
Wink! "Totally wicked shirt, Little Dude."

Mikey makes sure to lower Little Renny right into his mother's arms while hanging out on the sign above because there's still some shadows left climb up and over to hide in. Michelangelo doesn't really have much to say when it comes to actually helping out even his enemies. He prefers to his fun remarks to the witty banter portion of the fight.

He does, though, peer over the sign from the rooftop to see if he can't lock eyes with Deniah for a moment. Just to give her one of those 'knowing nods' that could mean you're welcome or do better or any number of things. As long as the kid's life was saved, that's all that matters.

Also, his kurisama-chaku is being used to 'fish' the stack of pizza boxes by the bungee cord holding them together. Can't leave without his pizza.

Shredder has posed:
It's not long before the cabby is out, looking up at the disappearing figure. "Lady, you ohkay?" he asks. "Ah, my cah! They gonna take it outta my check!" He starts to examine the damage.

Deniah clings to Renny, who clings back, and she looks up at Mikey, a tear in her eye. She does make eye contact. She doesn't say anything, but gives him a nod. She's not going to make a second attempt at this. Maybe it's time to find a new job.
