Cast of Characters: Bishop, Lorna Dane

Bishop has posed:
He made it into the past, but nothing added up. His team was nowhere to be found. Hitting a public library he found no reference of crimes that might have been committed by Trevor Fitzroy, a man with all the subtley of a sledgehammer to the temple. The date was off by over a decade of when he expected, but even still, people that were right out of his grandmother's stories, despite the later date. Thankfully, Bishop was a good enough to detective to spot a pool player that wasn't near as good as he thinks he is and was able to hustle a little spending cash so he could pick up some clothes and a duffle a military surplus.

Of course, this doesn't provide one with a credit card and thus he couldn't procure this 'uber' everyone told him to take. Still, public transit, shoe leather and a bus got him close enough to New Salem, and as he walks up to the school he draws a deep breath as it looks monolothic before him, as if the weight of his grandmothers stories make it so much bigger than it really is. The big man walks with something of a purpose towards the front porch, or foyer, or whatever you ccall it on a big fancy house like this.

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna had already saw the alerts that someone had hopped the drive, it was early and while it hadn't set off alarms and klaxons.. She was already up. Doubtlessly other responsible people were handling the kids, and anything else that might be going on in terms of 'Who just hopped the fence'? The fact that he hadn't registered on any known 'enemies' list was just as questionable.

So as he approached, the green haired woman stepped out, the door shutting behind her with a wave of her hand as she stepped with no small amount of determination. One Lorna Dane, youngest daughter of Magneto and current Queen of the recently destroyed Genosha.. (Magneto was decidedly pronounced 'dead'), was a publicly known figure in this time. It was hard to miss the bright green hair after all. She wore a black jean jacket, and a pair of jeans, and metal toed shoes, which stepped lighter than usual as she moved.

"So. Who are you? You know this is a private school, and you're trespassing. Do we have to calls the cops?" They wouldn't call the cops, obviously, but it was the standard way humans dealt with things. And well. Appearances.

Bishop has posed:
Bishop had thankfully gotten out of his X.S.E. Uniform and could look in place loading containers or a driving forklift on the international shipyards. He does a double take being addressed by Lorna. She stands out, even in his grand mother's stories, but this publicly known being the daughter of Magneto, and Queen of the destroyed Genosha was one of the most significant differences from the past he thought he was going to. "Yes.. I am sorry, the calling your enforcers won't be necessary." Bishop's voice is deep, but there is a strange apprehensiveness there. "There is no easy way to say this. I am a bit lost and I was looking for help.."

Quite without realizing it he rubs his temple next to the 'M' tatoo over his right eye.

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna's hands settled on her hips briefly as she stood where she was, not too close, but neither all that far away. As the strange man spoke about 'enforcers', she arched a brow and gestured back the way he came from. Toward the front gate and the main drive again. "Right, I would say you sound pretty lost, let's get you back to the main gate away and on your way. Hmm?" She smiled, and there was steel in her words for all that she kept them bland enough.

Her eyes narrowing faintly as she, shifted her weight on the drive beneath her feet. Whoever this man was, he was big enough to cause some concern, and given that few people hoofed it all the way out to Westchester... he was quickly growing in the green haired woman's list of 'possible problems'.

Bishop has posed:
"I'm sorry.. Ms. Dane..." he pauses, "Queen Dane? I am sorry I don't know contemporary titles I..." He doesn't resist but as he turns he says, "I am from the future, I came because a Mutant Criminal named Trevor Fitzroy came back to the past, possibly to attack the X-men."

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna blinked as Bishop not only addressed her by her title but also last name, and blew past all of that to get to the meat of the matter-- that he was ANOTHER time traveler and that he was trying to prevent some kind of an attack earned all of her attention fast. She stared, looking slightly blown over.

"I'm sorry, but you're going to have to back up and start with introducing yourself." She wanted Jean, she wanted Jean and her telepathic skills right then and there. She eyed the man, and glanced around once and back.

"And also tell me something more than that. Do you have any idea how many time travelers we've had to deal with?"

Bishop has posed:
"My name is Bi....." he pauses and blinks, "Wait? Time Travelers are a frequent problem for you?" As if he can sense eyes narrowing silently telling him to get to the point already he clears his throat and continues, "My name is Bishop. I am member of Xavier's Security Enforcers. I was tracking a Mutant Criminal named Trevor Fitzroy in the year 2122, and at one of his safe houses, we found an damaged recording of Jean Grey warning of a traitor that betrayed the X-men and we went on to find that he had escaped into the past on the same timestamp as the recording. The X.S.E. managed to rebuild his machine and sent me back with my partners, Randall and Malcolm to follow him into the past and stop him whatever he is up to."

Bishop takes a deep breath, "Things are not adding up with what I expected though."

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorn blinked again, slowly nodding as she shoved her hands into her pockets. "Uhm.. well, yes. I think we have half a dozen new redheads running around the Mansion these days. A few what looked like crash landings. Either from our future or an alternative one. I don't think anyone meant to come here.." Her eyebrows furrowed.

"We don't have anything like X.S.E. here. Nor do we have anyone by the name of Trevor Fitzroy. I think you landed off from where--er.. whenever you meant to come." She tilted her head.

"Genosha was destroyed less than a month ago. Magneto is dead. We don't know who did any of it. Scott is leader, Jean is teaching. Bobby is still getting his degree. And Tony Stark is running for President against Lex Luthor. Does that help place you at all?"

Bishop has posed:
Dark eyes just get wider and wider as Lorna starts explaining recent events. There is both recognition and completely despondent, confusion, "I.... I suddnely wish I listened to when Shard tried to explain quantum mechanics to me..."

"I reconize almost all of those names... Except this Lex Luthor." Bishop shakes his head then and asks, "What about Charles Xavier?"

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna shrugged, "Okay... so, maybe this isn't even the same place in time you wanted, much less the same past you were going to get at.." She exhaled a breath. She reached up a hand to push her hair back from her face. She understood vague concepts about the theories of Time travel, but her degree was in Geophysics... not this whole mess.

Still, after having a few surprise Summers appear, she had some concept of how messy it might be.

"I guess I'll tell Stark that time travels know him and not Lex. He'll have a field day." She muttered, as if she ever spoke to Tony. She might pass it to Wanda though.

"The Professor is about, I mean, he cleared my head a bit.. so I'm somewhat functional. He's just not here right now. I think he went to something about education thing." She did not keep track of the Professor beyond, here or not here. It wasn't her job.

Bishop has posed:
Bishop adjusts the duffle on his shoulder and says, "That sounds like something Anthony Stark would like based on what my grandmother used to say about him when telling me stories." Bishop looks to the gate, "Well.. sounds like I have my work cut out for me learning about the time-line I ended up in. I apologize for trespassin."

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna blinked again, trying to mentally run the math down on generations and failing slightly as Bishop said 'grandmother'. She leaned back on her heels. "Okay, that is the weirdest thing, no one calls him Anthony. At least, I've never heard it." She seemed to vaguely relax though, she wasn't a telepath, but Bishop wasn't being threatening either.

"Who's your grandmother? And lets get you set up at a safe house. I don't have clearance to let just anyone in without some checking. We'll get Jean or the Professor to check you out first and what not. But I have a feeling you don't have a place to stay, right?"

Bishop has posed:
"I have scraped together enough cash that I can stay at the roadside Inn for a few more days until one of them can scan my brain and make certain I am not an immediate threat." Bishop assures Lorna, "My Grandmother loved to tell me stories of the X-men and you and Havok and my and my sister loved them. She always said her name was Lorraine, but I suspect that was a new name and not always the one she went by in her youth." He nods and says, "Thank you for helping me Queen Dane. I'm in room 5 at the Roadside Inn."
