A young, bubbly gymnast with the power to manipulate light. New to her powers, and life as a superheroine. Idealistic, naive, but eager to make a difference, as well as engage in copious amounts of hero worship.

Timeline:
* 2003: Born in rural Georgia to a mundane couple with no powers.
* 2015: Attends her first gymnastic class, realizing both a talent and a passion. Joins her middle school team.
* 2016: Moves to New York, attending her first year of High School. Is saved by a hero during a routine clash between supers. Starts to idolize and learn about them.
* 2020: Manifests her powers for the first time, completely by accident, and not under any sort of threat. A friend of hers jumped out from a corner to scare her, and ended up blinded by a flash of light.

Fangirl:
Glimmer has been obsessed with superheroics since she was a girl, and the manifestation of her own powers hasn't changed that. When around popular or powerful heroes, she tends to freak out a little at first meeting. She has a near encyclopedic knowledge of all the A-listers, and is also a fan of a number of underground heroes.

Friendly:
Most prominently, Glimmer is friendly almost to the point of obnoxiousness. Bubbly, sweet, and annoyingly upbeat, its difficult to get her down or have her think poorly of people. Generally, she tries to assume the best of anyone she interacts with.

Naive:
Glimmer is new to the superheroine thing, and as enthusiastic as she is inexperienced. An unbringing largely without much strife combined with a generally upbeat attitude have made her a sucker for a number of schemes and tricks, both benign and not.

Light Manipulation:
Although potential an incredibly powerful ability, Glimmer's ability to manipulate light is limited by her own imagination, inexperience and stamina. Primarily, her powers are used as a source of personal range invisiblity, though she can extend this to people she touches. In addition, she can warp light to cast illusions, but this is mostly for personal range use to manifest her costume. She can make illusions at a distance, but the act tires her immensely, and she must remain stationary to concentrate hard enough. In self defense, she can emanate a brief, blinding light, a constant, intense light, or simply distort her features to effectively create a blue around her. At this stage in her training, the vast majority of her powers emanate directly from her body.

Glimmer is an amateur level gymnast, giving her a fit body, a bit of acrobatic skill, and surprising flexibility.

Naive:
To a fault, Glimmer believes in the goodness of others, and is remarkably easy to betray, lie to, and trick. While capable of being clever and using her abilities in intelligent ways, when it comes to reading people's ill intentions, she's as inept as they come.

Stamina:
Glimmer's powers draw directly on her stamina, and if used too much, or in ways she's not used to, they can tire her shockingly quickly. Its not uncommon for her to overexert herself to the point she's a panting mess on the ground, particularly when using illusions at a distance. Powerful applications of her powers, like lasers or massive illusions, would likely knock her unconcious from exhaustion at this stage of her training.
