Cole Cassidy was a soldier with an attitude problem, and when he was dishonorably discharged from the Army, he returned to Gotham and established a gang with the express purpose of ripping off other criminals. Unfortunately for him this attracted the attention of the Clown Prince of Crime, and an unfortunate encounter with the Joker left him changed forever. He is still fighting the same fight, but now that he has been transformed into a hyena hybrid, the rules have changed and he has become a lot more brutal.

Timeline:
* 1995: Born in Gotham City in to Jack and Sally Cassidy.
* 2000: Entered Gotham public school system.
* 2002: Parents murdered by unknown assailant. Cole moved into foster care system.
* 2008: Cole enters juvenile detainment due to petty crimes.
* 2010: Cole exits detention, re-enters foster system.
* 2013: As soon as he turns 18, Cody joins the Army to get out of Gotham.
* 2014: While serving with the Army, he joins the special forces team.
*2015: Kicked out of the Army due to incident involving disobeying orders to save a fellow soldier. Returns to Gotham.
* 2018: Establishes himself as the leader of a gang known as the Hyenas in Gotham. Gang originally known for scavenging other criminal's scores.
* 2019: The Hyenas attract the attention of the Joker. After refusing to join him, Cody is dosed with a chemical compound that transforms him into his gang's namesake. He manages to escape, going underground to recover.

Personality

A Bit Crazy:
Nobody gets dosed with chemicals from the Joker and turns out okay. While he still retains most of himself inside of his changed form, he also has a tendency to go a bit wild, letting the animal instincts out when needed. This can take forms such as laughing uncontrollably, barking and of course using his powerful jaws when in combat.

Brutal:
Cackler is trained in combat, and has no hesitation to hurt people. He tries to not hurt innocent people, even if he's committing a crime, but when he needs to hurt people, then he's entirely ruthless. He doesn't think of himself as a killer, and would rather not have that blood on his hands, but he has killed before, and will kill again.

Not a Bad Guy:
Cackler doesn't see himself as a bad guy. He targets bad guys, after all! Sure his methods might be a bit extreme and he may be prone to biting and clawing at those he's working against, but he still figures he's doing the right thing.

Enhanced Abilities:
Part of his mutation has given him enhanced strength, speed and durability compared to a normal person. He could pick up a car over his head and throw it with a lot of effort, and while not bulletproof, is at least resistant to damage coming in on himself.

Mutated Hyena:
Cackler used to be a normal human, but exposure to some kind of chemicals at the hands of the Joker have left him turned into a human/hyena hybrid. This has benefits, because of the instincts and enhancements that come with it, but has fallbacks as well.

Combat Trained:
A former special forces soldier in the Army, Cackler has extensive weapons training as well as hand-to-hand combat expertise.

Parkour:
Already having been a practitioner of free running prior to his transformation, his enhanced strength and speed has enabled him to take it to another level, which is extremely useful when one has to either run from the cops, or supervillains, across rooftops in Gotham.

Cash Stash:
Over the few years of running with his gang, ripping off other criminals, he has built up quite a stash of cash in various locations in Gotham, and can pull from it as needed when he has to purchase things.

Weapon Cache:
A collection of weapons stored over the years, all manner of firearms and melee weapons that can be used in his misadventures. He has a few favorites in the collection, however, in particular a chiappa rhino and an illegally modified full auto AR-15.

Criminal:
Even if he only targets other criminals, he's still breaking the law. He doesn't have the benefit a lot of vigilantes have, especially since he does not follow the same no-killing code that they do.

Mutated:
The main thing affecting his life, he is a mutate, transformed by chemicals mentally and physically. His appearance makes it impossible to blend in with normal folks, and the agressive tendencies he had before his change have made things that much harder.
