Profile
On Apokalips, she is the daughter of Darkseid. A trainee of the terrible Granny Goodness. She was meant to be a General in the Apokaliptian army. On Earth, she is just an alien seeking refuge. A nobody with immense power. One of many with that degree of power but not so many as to not stand out.
Timeline
Timeline:
* 2000: Grail is born to Myrna Black after she sought out Darkseid in order to try to create the
perfect weapon against him, an Amazonian hybrid made with his own blood. She escaped with her child
and was pursued.
* 2005: Myrna and Grail are recaptured by the forces of Apokalips. Myrna is
tortured and imprisoned. Grail is sent to Granny Goodness.
* 2010: Grail is undergoing training
from Granny when she escapes to go see her mother. She finds out that they have been keeping her
alive just to watch Grail grow into a weapon for Darkseid. The first seed of hate for her own father
is planted.
* 2016: Darkseid personally oversees his daughter fighting the furies. She beats back
several attackers at once only to be taken down by a powerful attack from behind. Darkseid orders
her to be beaten further.
* 2022.1: After years of training, learning, and fighting, Darkseid
orders a test for his daughter and some of Apokalips greatest warriors are ordered to kill her.
Grail prevails only to spit on Darkseid's offer to elevate her, declaring she will kill him.
Darkseid attempts to punish her with his own Omega Beams, only for Grail, in rage, to unleash her
own Omega Beams to counteer his. The resulting explosion sends both Grail and Darkseid flying, not
to mention all in attendance.
* 2022.2: Using this as an opportunity, Grail grabs a motherbox,
programs it to self-destruct and scramble its destination before entering her goal and disappearing
through a boomtube to Earth, in an attempt to see if she can find her Mother's people and perhaps
raise an army against her father. Only, when she arrives she finds a world much different than she
expects.

Personality
Personality:
In a way, Grail is what she was made to be by Granny Goodness. She's a fierce warrior, willing
to do what is necessary to win. Taught to be underhanded, to act when opportunity presents itself,
and never accept surrender. The thing is, she may have been gotten to by Granny too late. Grail knew
her mother's love before she was brought back to Apokalips and she cared deeply for her. So, while
she has had the importance of being heartless drilled into her, she has never fully given up on her
heart. Further, her mother's own wishes and the treatment she saw, has left her with a deep seated
hatred of her own father.
She is in many ways her father's daughter. She has ambition and a
dedication to her goals that is out done by few. Once she has decided upon a course, she looks to
the ways that will get her there almost to the cost of all other things. In her mind, especially due
to her training, the ends do justify the means. If people have to die in order to kill her father,
than so be it. If whole worlds need be sacraficed? That might even be acceptable.
Though,
despite all this, she is a girl who barely saw anything other than Apokalips. She has never known
peace. Her joy has always been in successful fights and sometimes kills. Her rewards were in things
that allowed her to live another day. Comfort was not a thing she knew much of. Many of the things
on Earth will leave her asttounded and disbelieving as they'll seem like a weakness to her, and yet
at the same time, she can't help but hear the call of things that might offer moments of joy.
Something sweet will seem like a way to become comfortable and weak and at the same time, still be
quite the treat.

Powers
Amazon-New God Hybrid:
Grail is a mixture of Amazonian heritage and Darkseid himself. She is durable enough to
withstand the attacks of some of the strongest beings in the universe. She's strong enough to
perform feats of strength that would boggle the mind. Physically she's capable of matching some of
the strongest that Earth has to offer. Her speed and agility is capable of matching her to the likes
of Wonder Woman.
Her body heals at an astounding rate, leaving even a badly broken Grail
being capable of combat and outright deadly within hours. Suffice it to say, she's a physical
specimen that gained some of the most deadly attributes of her mother and father. Deadly toxins,
diseases, and even the ravages of space would likely have little effect upon her form. She could
withstand the heat of magma and stand in the jmiddle of Antartica without feeling the cold.
Omega Beams:
Grail has eye beams much like her father's. Capable of firing off a pair of beams from her eyes
that are powerful enough to melt straight through reinforced steel. Unlike her father's, she is not
capable of using these beams to truly use the Omega Effect. She cannot teleport someone with them,
reintegrate them, or any of the other tricks her father pulls. Her beams, at the moment, are purely
destructive in nature. What she does have though is the ability to turn them in mid air, angle them,
and use them to fire off impossible shots that regular energy beams should not be able to do, making
them difficult to avoid.
Unlike her father, either due to inability or simple inexperience
with the Omega Beams, Grail has not yet learned how to lock them on to someone.
Senses:
While her senses are naturally heightened about human levels simply due to her nature, where her
senses truly excel are in her ability to sense Motherboxes and Motherbox technology. She has a
massive range, nearing upon hundreds of miles, to sense the activation of motherboxes and boomtubes
with the senses being less powerful and accurate the farther away they are.
Willful:
Due to her heritage combined with her raising, she's got a terrifying will that would give many
pause. She is arrogant to a fauklt, believing herself ot be one of the strongest beings in the
galaxy and she has goals that are hard to shake. Things that might terrify or rock the core of a
normal being would have little to no effect upon a being who so honestly believes themself to be
superior to all others.
Skills
Apokalips Tech:
Simply put, she was raised on Apokalips to be among her father's generals. She knows a great
deal about Apokaliptian tech, how to use it, and how to abuse it.
Combat:
Grail is not a master in combat but she's definitely an expert. She was trained by Granny
Goodness to be one of the top fighters on Apokalips. While she isn't the most skilled around, she is
incredibly well trained and not to be taken lightly in combat when it comes to most weapons and hand
to hand. Even without her natural physical abilities, she'd be a force.
Subterfuge:
Both due to the training of her mother when she was young but frankly also something she learned
on Apokalips, Grail is incredibly talented at deceit. She knows how to lie to get her way.
Resources
Her Weapon:
It's really all she has other than her outfit. An adjustable scythe made with Apokaliptian
metals, it's nearly as tough as she is and sharp enough to slice straight through steel. Not to
mention, she can be off putting due to it.
Weaknesses
Anger Issues:
Due to how she was raised, the way her mother was treated, her own father's actions, and likely
just some degree of genetics, Grail has a high amount of anger issues. She turns to anger far too
quickly and this can often lead to her acting or reacting at the wrong time.
Arrogance:
Simply put, she's absolutely sure of herself. It doesn't mean she's stupid but she knows what
she is and who she is. She believes that most beings stand little to no chance against her to the
point where she might take on more than she can handle. She knows she cannot take on an army of
people like her but she also believes that most can't take her and she'd walk into a fight she might
not be ready for because of it.
Daddy Issues:
Simply put, her father is Darkseid. This is a secret to those not from Apokalips. Most don't
even know what kind of horrible monster he is. She does. She's seen first hand his power and his
evil. She knows that he is a being of pure will and power. She also hates him above all
else.
Worse than that, he wants her back. She's his daughter. His daughter who has shown a
penchant for the Omega Effect. He wants her back. As such, she keeps the secret of Apokalips and her
heritage. Hiding it from all those that don't already know the truth as that secret could be
incredibly dangerous to her.
Out of Place:
Not only do her looks set her out of place, but she is literaly out of place on Earth. She has
no idea about Earth Customs, Earth technologies, and Earth's people. It is all new to her and very
different.
Radion:
Unlike most New Gods, she isn't as weak to Radion as others. It can weaken her, even eventually
kill her, but due to her Amazonian heritage, she's not quite as weak to it. She can take more than
most New Gods normally could but it will still eventually have the same effect.
