Timeline
Timeline:
*1999: Born somewhere in New York and orphaned. Given to Saint Garards Orphanage.
* 2005: Taken from the orphanage by Frankie "Kill-The-Children-Too" Franchetti at Sonatine's suggestion.
* 2006: He and Appollonia Franchetti, Franchetti's daughter, start a childish rivalry that just gets worse through to adulthood.
* 2015: Makes his first hit.
* 2017: His body count helps the Franchetti mob rise fast in New York.
* 2018: Hits a bunch of Franchetti family enemies during and after the attack on New York. Makes them look like alien casualties.
* 2020: Rises to be the closest Uncle Frankie (Franchetti) has to a son.

Personality
Brave:
Jackie has always been brave. Recklessly brave. You can hurt him, you can piss him off, but unless you've got some fancy mindcontrol you really can't scare him. Maybe it's a result of trauma. Maybe it's The Darkness tainting his bloodline. Or maybe he just has a screw loose. Whatever it is, trying to scare Jackie is a lost cause.
Hedonistic:
Jackie loves a good time; Italian food, fast cars and faster women. It's fair to say that before The Darkness, Jackie only had killing for the family and having a good time as his goals in life. Few things make Jackie angry faster than messing with his good times.
Loyal:
Jackie is loyal. Fanatically loyal. Once someone becomes one of his people, unholy wrath will drop on anyone who messes with them. You don't lie, steal, take or hurt family. You don't betray them either. The worst punishments are meted out to traitors.
Sociopathic:
Jackie's bloodline and upbringing were perfect for creating him; a ruthless killer with no remorse. Jackie has no compunctions about using violence, lies and money to get whatever he wants. There are rules though. Family is sacred and keep the civilians out of it unless they butt in where they don't belong. If you're fair game though, so are your family, friends, loved ones and pet dog.

Creation:
The Darkness is Creation; Jackie can create and control shadowy fanged, clawed or bladed tentacles to impale/grab/interact with objects, restrain or kill enemies and life cars. He can create guns, chainsaws, water, knives and even living beings from The Darkness.
Darklings:
Jackie can summon hordes of demonic Darklings to do his bidding. He can control and communicate with them from a distance, and see through their eyes.
Enhanced Senses:
Jackie has sharper senses than normal humans.
Flight:
Jackie can use The Darkness to grow bat or bird wings and fly.
Healing Factor:
Jackie has a powerful healing factor. He can recover from nearly any wound in seconds and is immune to illness.
Night Vision:
Jackie can see in total darkness as if it was daylight.
Superhuman Speed:
When wearing The Darkness Armor, Jackie can run faster over 200km/h.
Superhuman Strength:
When using The Darkness Armor, Jackie can lift approximately 5 tons.
The Darkness Armor:
Jackie can will The Darkness Armor into existence at anytime. It makes him nearly invulnerable which lets him stand and trade with the toughest out there. Jackie can change the shape of his armor to add spikes, blades, chains and even create total disguises that even change his voice.
Skills
Greaseball:
Jackie is a master greaseball. A suprising number of women go for that kind of thing and he is very good at spotting them, lying to them and taking them home. Of course it makes just as many women want to puke. Especially smart ones.
Hand-To-Hand Fighting:
Jackie is a highly skilled hand-to-hand fighter, on par with even some trained assassins. He usually just uses brute strength though.
Master Marksman:
Jackie is a master marksman. He prefers using a pair of 9mm handguns.
Resources
Cash Pile:
Jackie is one of the best hitmen around and is sitting on pretty cash pile. A fancy apartment, expensive cars and fine Italian restaurants are staples for him.
Franchetti Family:
Jackie is like family to Uncle Frankie, head of the Franchetti mob family in New York. Goons, businesses, boyd disposal, money laundering, drugs, stolen goods and fencing, contacts, corrupted or blackmailed officials can all be used if he really needs them and it won't piss off Uncle Frankie.
Known:
Jackie is a made man. He is a high-ranking member of the Franchetti family. Rivals know it, cops know it, and it gives Jackie a certain amount of respect and leeway. After all, starting something with Jackie is deadly enough on its own. It also means starting something with the whole Franchetti family.
Weaknesses
All the Enemies:
Every rival mob family, other crime syndicates and a bunch of collateral damage have reasons to hate or fear Jackie. Being a top mob hitman does not make friends. There are a lot of people with dead lovers, brothers, sisters, children, nannies, bosses, friends and dogs who want Jackie dead.
Appolonia Franchetti:
Uncle Frankie's daughter Appolonia has always hated Jackie. She resents Jackie being treated like family and being so close to her father. And Appolonia wants nothing more than the unthinkable; to be a woman in charge of a mob family. And hey, to bring Jackie low on the way.
Brotherhood of Darkness:
Ever have a whole cult dedicated to trying to control you and unleash your evil power on the world? Jackie has. Sonatine's cult of The Darkness worshippers has existed for a few hundred years under the leadership of Sonatine, a man who has managed to learn some The Darkness-based magic himself. Sonatine and his cult want nothing more than teach, control and use Jackie to, you guessed it, take over the world. They are almost always enemies, but unlike The Angelus, The Brotherhood of Darkness has a vested interest in keeping Jackie alive. Or stealing his power. You know, one or the other.
Capris Castiglione:
Jackie doesn't know it, but he does have a twin sister. She wasn't sent to the orphanage with Jackie and her bloodline gives her some access to The Darkness magic. And possibly a hunger for more.
Deadly Deed:
If Jackie ever gets a woman pregnant of his own free will, he will die. Immediately. The Darkness will follow the seed and take his lifeforce with it. If The Darkness takes Jackie over temporarily and forces him into the act, he will live. But under just about any other circumstances, that is the end. In fact, it is how just about every cursed Estacado man in his family line has died.
Jenny Romano:
Jenny and Jackie grew up together in the orphanage and have been close ever since. Jenny is Jackie's only true friend and he will do anything to protect her. Anyone who figures that out has a powerful piece of leverage over Jackie. But has probably just signed their death warrant.
Light:
The Darkness needs, well, darkness. Jackie needs to be in shadow to summon The Darkness Armor. His Darklings die if they are exposed to daylight or a bright enough light. Jackie doesn't heal well or fast in bright light. He can't create from The Darkness in the light. Jackie feels for vampires.
No Way Out:
You don't leave mob life unless you're dead. Trying to get out is a betrayal and is punished, fatally. If Jackie ever tries to leave mob life, he can expect a special brand of vengeance coming his way.
The Angelus:
Ever have a hugely powerful force want to wipe out your hugely powerful force in an epic, timeless battle that can never end? Jackie has. The Angelus, a force of law and order (and love?), wants nothing more than to wipe out the chaos and creation of The Darkness and rule the world. In that order. The Angelus' host, always a woman, will go to any lengths to destroy The Darkness and its hosts. The Angelus has a form on par with The Darkness Armor, has angelic (angeluc?) warrior creations and the ability to scry over distances using magic.
The Darkness:
Having a demonic power welded to your soul has its drawbacks. The Darkness wants suffering, death and demonic mayhem and really doesn't care about the cost. It wants to be used, all the time and everywhere, and wants to be hosted by the vilest bastard(ette) around. When Jackie and The Darkness are not in sync, it has a nasty habit of getting the vile and ambitious to try and kill Jackie or take The Darkness from him.
Women:
Jackie is not known for his self-restraint. Hot women can set him on one track and make him kind of stupid, which is /really/ frustrating these days.
