Jen's life had been pretty good, she thought. Honor Roll student, on track for a scholarship, and her parents were moderately well off, and she had a good relationship with a boyfriend. It was good until her powers kicked in and left her boyfriend in a coma, parents sick, and the family dog dead. Turns out that being a walking toxic waste dump kind of damages your prospects in life. Scooped up by SHIELD, she's trying to adjust and figure out what the hell to do with her life.

Personality

Aggressive:
Having everyone suddenly be afraid of you combined with your friends abandoning you has left Jen angry and prone to lashing out.

Cynical:
Needless to say, Jen no longer expects the best out of the world. Getting powers was supposed to make your life better, but it shattered hers. Needless to say, she doesn't have the most positive outlook on life.

Snarky:
The last time Jen let people get close to her, they got sick and her boyfriend spent a week in a coma. Her wit as acid as her saliva, She pushes people away and tries to avoid attachments. If nobody gets close, they can't get hurt again... and neither can she.

Character Sheet

Powers

Radiation Generation:
Jen's body naturally emits a level of ionizing radiation sufficient to start to induce radiation sickness with close prolonged exposure. She can focus her power to emit radiation along the whole electromagnetic spectrum, ranging from radio waves, through visible light, to high energy gamma rays.

Substance Emission:
Jen's body naturally produces a large variety of toxic substances ranging from neurotoxins to heavy metals. These substances are always present in her bodily fluids ranging from blood to sweat, and prolonged exposure to her will result in illness or death. With concentration and knowledge of the chemical makeup of a toxic substance, she can increase her production of it.

Substance Immunity:
Jen is immune to the toxic substances her body produces.

Skills

Aikido:
Jen had never been the most athletic, but her mom encouraged her to take up Aikido for both exercise and self defense. By the time she was in high school, she was moderately skilled.

Hazard Suit:
A FitzSimmons creation, Jen's hazard suit lets her leave her room in the bowels of the Triskelion and actually interact with the world. Designed to be worn for prolonged periods, the composite material that makes up the main body provides both a full environmental seal and radiation shielding, while still allowing Jen to use her powers. She's not entirely sure how that bit works, they kind of lost her in technobabble. The helmet's visor is anti-fog and automatically polarizes in response to bright light, and has an active filtration system. Opening the visor puts the system into 'negative pressure mode', letting Jen eat without letting any contaminants escape.

Shielded Suite:
Deep in the interior of the Triskelion, Jen has a suite of rooms with full environmental shielding and an airlock, designed to let Jen take off her suit and be /somewhat/ normal. Futon, kitchen nook, bathroom, and the corresponding systems to deal with resulting hazardous wastes.

Weaknesses

Containment:
Jennifer's powers are always active at a low level, meaning prolonged direct exposure to her could be fatal. As such, when she is outside of a controlled environment, she has to wear a containment suit.

Hot-Headed:
When angry or provoked, Jennifer can start to lose control of her powers, unconsciously emitting more than at her baseline level.
