Komand'r, known as Blackfire, is a fierce and power-hungry warrior driven by deep-seated jealousy toward her sister, Starfire. Ruthless, ambitious, and cunning, she harbors a desire to claim absolute power. Her emotional instability and resentment often fuel her actions, making her a dangerous and unpredictable adversary. Despite her hatred, a complicated connection to her family lingers, making things cumbersome.

Timeline:
*1994 - Born as the crown princess of Tamaran, her birth defect apparent almost instantly
*1997 - Her younger sister Koriand'r is born to much fanfare, lacking the birth defect that plagued her sister.
*2002 - Her younger brother Ryand'r is born.
*2007 - Komand'r engages in combat training and all of the other studies required of royalty.
*2012 - At the age of eighteen, she is officially removed as Crown Princess, replaced by her sister. This turns her from simply serious and a stick in the mud to bitter and vengeful.
*2012 - During a combat training session, she attempted to kill her sister and was exiled. Filled with rage and envy, she joins the enemies of her people, the Citadel. She rises quickly through the ranks due to her brutality and strength.
*2013 - Komand'r leads the Citadel in invading Tamaran, taking her sister hostage as a slave to be abused and tortured for the crime of taking her throne.
*2014 - Koriand'r escapes to Earth. Komand'r's forces fail to catch her and pay for it.
*2019 - Komand'r is experimented on by the race known as the Psions. They manage to cure her defect and grant her even greater powers than the average Tamaranian.
*2024 - The destruction of Tamaran by Galactus and the increased activity in space leads Komand'r to earth with a Citadel strike force.

Wicked Queen:
Komand'r is a ruthless, spiteful and cruel intergalactic warlord. Despite the fact that she held her sister in bondage for years, she still feels slighted that her birthright was taken from her. The only loyalty she has is to herself. Everyone else is either an enemy to destroy, a pawn to use, or someone stronger to usurp. Friends are a weakness. Family is meaningless. There is only power and conquest and living for her own desires.

Energy Absorption:
Like all Tamaraneans, Blackfire can absorb solar energy, particularly ultraviolet radiation, to fuel her powers.

Flight:
One of Blackfire's signature abilities is her capacity for self-propelled flight. Through the manipulation of absorbed ultraviolet energy, she can fly at incredible speeds, both within a planet's atmosphere and in the vacuum of space. Her speed and agility in the air make her a formidable opponent during aerial combat.

Language Absorption:
Komand'r can learn a language with a touch. Skin to skin contact is necessary and given her propensity for gloves, a kiss is the most efficient way to do this. That said, kissing her is far less pleasant than kissing her sister.

Starbolts:
Blackfire can generate and release powerful purple energy blasts from her hands and eyes, known as "Blackbolts" or "Starbolts". These energy bolts are highly destructive, capable of disintegrating targets, causing massive explosions, and cutting through many mundane materials. The energy for these blasts is drawn from the ultraviolet radiation she absorbs and stores within her body.

Tamaranean Physiology:
As a native of the planet Tamaran, Blackfire possesses a physiology vastly superior to that of an average human. Tamaraneans absorb ultraviolet radiation, which grants them numerous enhanced abilities, including:

Superhuman Strength: Blackfire has strength far beyond that of normal humans, allowing her to lift heavy objects and overpower opponents in physical combat. Her maximum lift tops out somewhere near thirty tons

Superhuman Durability: Her body is highly resistant to injury, withstanding extreme impacts, energy blasts, and environmental extremes without harm. She is able to survive in the vacuum of space and in the corona of stars without issue.

Superhuman Agility and Reflexes: She possesses incredible speed, agility, and reflexes, which make her a skilled and elusive combatant.

Combat Skills:
In addition to her powers, Blackfire is a highly skilled hand-to-hand combatant and strategist. Trained in both martial and tactical warfare, she is a dangerous foe on the battlefield, combining her natural abilities with her combat training. Trained by the elite Tamaranean guard as well as after she joined the Citadel, she is proficient in hand to hand combat as well as with almost any melee weapon and firearms. Not that she needs firearms.

Educated:
When on Tamaran, Komand'r was educated by the finest tutors that her parents could find. Brutally intelligent, she excelled in her studies. She is familiar with galactic history, high level math, science, rhetoric, and the arts. Her studies were never terribly specific, but she's received a university level education in Earth terms.

Leadership:
Blackfire is also known for her keen intellect, particularly in matters of strategy, diplomacy, and leadership. Having served as a commander in the Citadel, she is a shrewd and ruthless leader, capable of manipulating others and commanding forces in battle. Though her idea of diplomacy is far more gunboat than traditional give and take.

The Citadel:
Komand'r is a high level operative in the Citadel, a star empire within the Vega star system in a distant part of the Milky Way galaxy. After what happened to Tamaran, she came to Earth with troops and starships. Not an invasion fleet, but her own loyal troops. The ships are, currently, orbiting Neptune and staying away from Earth. She has access to the troops and facilities on said ships for whatever wicked purpose she may want them for. That said, her soldiers are finite, and her ships relatively few. If she wastes them, it will be difficult to get more.

Emotional Instability:
Blackfire is driven by deep-seated jealousy and resentment, particularly toward her sister Starfire. This emotional instability can cloud her judgment, leading her to make irrational decisions. Her desire for revenge and feelings of inadequacy often fuel her actions, which can be exploited by her enemies. Her emotions can be a source of strength but also a key vulnerability, as they can make her impulsive and reckless.

Family:
Blackfire?s complex relationship with her family, particularly with Starfire, is both a strength and a weakness. Her deep emotions surrounding her sister can cause inner conflict, making her hesitate or act irrationally in certain situations. Though she often seeks to defeat or dominate her sister, there is a part of her that remains emotionally tethered to her family, which can be exploited by enemies who understand these dynamics.

Hubris:
Due to her power and royal lineage, Blackfire often displays overconfidence in battle and leadership. Her arrogance can lead her to underestimate opponents or dismiss potential threats. This flaw has been exploited by enemies who have used her hubris against her in both combat and political scenarios.

Ultraviolet Dependency:
Like other Tamaraneans, Blackfire's powers are heavily reliant on her ability to absorb ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun or other sources. Prolonged periods without access to UV radiation will weaken her, causing a gradual loss of strength, flight, and energy projection abilities. In environments with limited sunlight or no exposure to UV rays, Blackfire can be left vulnerable.
