Personality

Brutally Honest:
Ballista is always honest. She doesn't lie, she doesn't see the point. She doesn't care if somebody knows what she's doing, or why she's doing it. She's also not prone to sparing somebody's feelings just because the truth hurts. Sure sometimes she might TRY to be tactful, but even then that's usually just reserved for people above her on the proverbial food chain.

Prepared For War:
Si vis pacem, para bellum. If you want peace, prepare for war. Words to live by in her mind. She's always prepared for war, ready to launch into combat at a moment's notice. She keeps herself ready to go at any moment in order to ensure that others don't have to. Null is a lot of scientists and eggheads, and she knows they'll die if she doesn't stop threats ahead of time.

Violence Is a Tool:
Violence is her middle name. Some people use violence as a scalpel. She uses it as a sledgehammer. Her motto is that if violence isn't working, you're not using enough of it. She doesn't care about things like collateral damage or civilian casualties, so long as her mission gets accomplished. She's also not above killing captives if it will keep her mission on track.

Character Sheet

Powers

Enhanced Abilities:
Due to the mutation, Ballista has strength and speed far exceeding a normal human's capabilities, allowing her to throw a car with her strength, and run about as fast as a motor vehicle. In addition to that, her foot claws are superhumanly sharp, capable of cutting through tank armor.

Enhanced Senses:
Raptor's senses are attuned for hunting, and Ballista's are no exception. She's got excellent night vision, on par with the kinds of systems the military would use, and enhanced scent tracking and hearing. She's a predator through and through.

Mutant Raptor:
Mutated by Null Corp, Ballista has gained all the strength and speed and hunting instincts of the ancient utahraptor. Unlike most mutants, she volunteered to undergo the process, knowing it would make her stronger and faster and a better fighter, despite the downsides.

Skills

Brawler:
While she's no expert in hand to hand combat, she's had more than her fair share of fights over the years, both in the military and when working security for Null. She'll scrap with anybody in close quarters, taking advantage of her enhanced strength.

Demolitions:
For her whole life she has had a natural affinity for explosives. Ranging from fireworks to C-4, if it blows up, she knows about it and how to make it work. She's also extremely skilled at locating weak points in structures in order to bring them down.

Eod:
In the military she worked as Explosives Ordinance Disposal, and those skills stay with her. She's capable of disarming explosives with the best of them, though she'd question WHY someone would want to disarm a bomb instead of just blowing it up.

Marksmanship:
While she generally would prefer to just saturate an area with firepower, Ballista is actually quite a skilled marksman. She's able to effectively put shots onto targets upwards of 500 meters away from herself thanks to training she received in the Marines.

Tactics:
She didn't become the head of security without knowing tactics and how to properly employ them. She is quite capable of looking at a situation and figuring out how she would deploy troops for it. She also works towards figuring out ways to bypass other's tactical situations by throwing unexpected moves in their direction.

Resources

Armored Suit:
Null has outfitted her with an armored suit, made from aramid fibers and composite plates, providing extreme protection with a lightweight frame. Customized to fit her body, she uses it primarily to keep herself safe against tougher foes that she's begun to face post mutation.

Armory:
Ballista has access to Null's armory, and any weapon she wants to get her hands on, all she needs to do is ask. She's particularly fond of her M-249 LMG and her shoulder hard point mounted rocket launcher, though what she brings to bear may depend on the situation at hand.

Null Corp Hq:
While she does not have access to the full building, she has enough standing with the company to be able to move about freely, and she has her own quarters that she keeps all of her belongings in.

Weaknesses

Mutated:
Being a mutant, she's not exactly able to go down to the local coffee shop and pick up a cup of coffee. Because of this, she tends to spend a lot of her time in the Null HQ, and getting stuck inside of her own head as a result.

Property:
Unknown to her, the contract she signed prior to being mutated stipulates that she belongs to Null Corporation and has given up all rights as a human, and the company is free to do with her as they wish, though as long as she remains a useful asset, they have no reason to get rid of her.

Sledgehammer:
When all you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail. Ballista is a sledgehammer, and in situations that require a scalpel, she's still a sledgehammer. She doesn't let that stop her, but because of that, she tends to leave a trail of destruction in her wake.

Traumatic Service:
Her time in the military was spent working on explosives, and she's seen a lot of friends get blown up. To some people this would make them shy away from explosives, but it made her lean into them, wanting to do more with bombs and rockets, sometimes dangerously so.
