Lobo, or "The Main Man" as both he and some others refer to him, is a somewhat well known intergalactic Bounty Hunter. When given a job to kill/capture someone, he is known to prefer bringing them back in a body bag as opposed to handcuffs. He has been arrested a couple of times, and broken out of prison just as many times. In some societies he is a wanted man, and in others he is an unknown.

Timeline

Timeline:
* 1900(?)-1950(?): In theory, the year that Lobo was born is somewhere in this range. By earth years he'd be somewhere around 100 years old but thanks to his uniqueness, he does not age the same as most other sentients. Lobo probably doesn't even remember the exact day or year he was born. The Main Man doesn't care about stuff like this!

* 1950(?)-1990(?):A bit of a blur. There were probably some records kept on his homeworld, Czarnia, but something happened to that planet and all the Czarnians on it were discovered dead. The nature of their deaths led intergalactic investigators into believing this was a mass genocide of the Czarnian race.

* 1990: Lobo is found on Czarna when the genocide of the Czarnians was being investigated. His brutish, aggressive demeanor, style of dress, and overly intense physical capabilities led them to believe he was responsible. With intense effort and casualties, Lobo was subdued and arrested.

* 1990: Lobo is imprisoned in the Kyln as an intergalactic criminal.

* 1990: Lobo escapes from the Kyln, resulting in the escape of several inmates? most of which were recaptured and some of which he captured himself.

* 1990-2017: Lobo earns a reputation as a ruthless bounty hunter.

* 2017: Lobo is arrested once again by a group comprised of Green Lanterns and Nova Corps agents. He is admitted into an Oan Supermax Facility for extremely dangerous individuals.

* 2019: Lobo escapes from the Oan Supermax prison through nefarious means, unknown if he did so alone or if he had support.

* 2019: Lobo resumes his bounty hunting career, further cementing his ruthless nature.

* 2020: Lobo meets Superman in the skies above earth where he is collecting a bounty. A brief fight between the two followed and Lobo escaped.

* July 2021: Lobo is hired by the Shi'ar to join them in an attack against the Justice League on the moon. He briefly fights with Hyperion before being knocked unconscious.

* August 2021: In an effort to sell him to the Collector, Lobo stages an invasion of Earth and briefly captures Superman, but his attempts are thwarted by the Justice League.

* 2022: After nearly a year since he was last here, Lobo returns to Earth for reasons known only to himself.

Personality

Ego:
He calls himself "The Main Man". He also has other self-given nicknames such as "The 'Bo", "Master Frag", "Mister Machete", "The Ultimate Bastiche"... the list goes on.

Needless to say, he has a pretty strong ego.

Honor:
Despite being a complete bastard most of the time, Lobo takes his word seriously. When he says he will do something, he does it. And he doesn't say anything he doesn't mean, for the most part.

Ruthless:
Given the nature of his profession and the reputation he has gained, Lobo seems to be a rather care-free individual. He has no compunctions about killing, for the most part. In many cases when he is hired to kill or capture a target, he opts for the killing part. He also doesn't care about collateral damage when it comes to completing his mission.

Vulgar:
Lobo is a pretty vulgar guy, as might be expected from an utterly ruthless intergalactic Bounty Hunter. All bets are off when talking to this guy, and he has almost no sense of political correctness.

Character Sheet

Powers

Fast:
He is not a speedster by any means, but with that said, Lobo is capable of incredible speeds. He is capable of superhuman levels of speed, but he can't contend with someone who can channel the Speed Force or the pure speed of a Kryptonian.

He can dodge bullets if they are fired from far enough away, but he wouldn't necessarily be able to outrun a bullet or some other similarly-fast projectile.

Regeneration:
Lobo's ability to recover from damage is probably his most defining trait. It is unknown whether all Czarnians have this ability and his is just more extreme, or if he is a mutant amongst his own kind.

He can regenerate from almost any type of wound. Missing limbs heal back in mere seconds, and this process seems to cause nearly no discomfort to Lobo. His cells regenrate faster than they can be destroyed. Once, when reduced to a useless pile of body tissues and broken bones thanks to a horrific spacehog accident, Lobo regenerated from that pile in just a couple of minutes. It is currently unknown just how strong his ability to regenerate is.

Stamina:
Thanks to his unique regenerating physiology, he is not known to tire. He can fully exert himself at 100 percent for an indeterminate amount of time and not even lose his breath.

Strength:
While he is definitely nowhere near being the strongest and will be outclassed by the exceedingly strong characters, he is still exceptionally strong. He can go toe-to-toe with the strongest, and in some cases he might even come out on top. Even he doesn't know the upper limit of his strength but, the "Main Man" himself might tell you he is the strongest Bastiche in the universe.

While nowhere near a Kryptonian's, and not having the limitless strength of the Hulk, he is at least capable of lifting somewhere around 100 tons.

Toughness:
Lobo is highly damage-resistant. Most conventional small arms offer him no threat whatsoever, and steel weapons will bend and snap before penetrating past his muscle layers. Anti-armor weapons, demolition charges, and mid-to-heavy artillery can cause significant damage to him if ignored.

Skills

Cunning:
Being an intergalactic bounty hunter of sugh high esteem requires a certain level of mental finesse. He doesnt have much more than a basic official education, but he has enough of an aptitude in mechanics to keep up with the maintenance and upgrade his spacehog. He also has a working understanding of hyperspace and basic astrogation.

Good Shot:
He definitely isn't Hawkeye or the Green Arrow in terms of his accuracy, but he is a good enough shot to place some lead downrange with the dependable accuracy one might expect from an Olympic level shooter.

Hand-To-Hand:
Lobo is a very capable hand-to-hand combatant. He doesn't seem to resemble any one particular martial arts style, so he comes off as a highly skilled and experienced brawler that just knows how to throw a punch/kick and WHEN to throw it.

Multilingual:
He knows a lot of languages. A lot. Too many to count. Obviously, he can speak English... but strangely enough he can also speak and understand Morse code and also in Binary.

Resources

Money:
He ain't the richest, but he definitely has more than a handful of accounts through the galaxy, and a lot of them are definitely loaded with a lot of mool-ah.

Spacehog:
Lobo's Spacehog is his preferred method of travel. It is a fully customized vehicle designed to carry one operator and small amounts of cargo. It boosts miniaturized 17-liter nuclear powerplant which powers it.

The upper limits of speed on it are not know, but according to Lobo it can go upwards of several thousands of kilometers per minute. This idea is reinforced since this is how Lobo travels between star systems much like a spacefaring civilization might use starships travelling at faster-than-light speeds.

This speed can theoretically be achieved on the surface of a planet, but it is unwise to do so since the spacehog can literally rip itself apart in the atmosphere of a planet if it is going too fast.

On the ground, Lobo will generally limit his speed to a couple of hundreds of miles an hour. If he is flying it in the air, he doesn't need to be as cautious, and can safely fly it as fast as mach 2 before the bike breaks itself apart thanks to the atmosphere.

Weapons:
Lobo's premier weapon and one that he falls back on constantly is his chained hook. The hook is large and bladed to the point that it can be used as a bladed melee weapon, but it also can serve as hook to hang stuff off of. This hook can be attached to the chain around his arm, but it isn't always. The chain and the hook itself are both made of some unknown metal that is capable of extreme temperatures and physical feats.

He also carries a sawed off shotgun that fires plasma shots instead of lead. This is preferred method of range combat, especially when on the back of his spacehog.

He keeps an assortment of frag grenades and other generic explosives on hand.

Weaknesses

Magic:
As strong and tough as he is, and in spite of his ability to regenerate himself, The Main Man doesn't have any outstanding ability to defend himself agaisnt magic and the practitioners of the mystic arts. For instance, if he is teleported a long distance, all he can do is call for his spacehog and fly back to where he was before.

Notorious:
Having been a spacefaring Bounty Hunter for so many years, and having been arrested and imprisoned in (and escaping from) at least two high security prisons, has lended to Lobo being somewhat recognizable. While he is nowhere near being a household name, his name is known well enough in the intergalactic community that he is watched with a very close eye almost everywhere he goes, due to his volatile and unpredictable nature.

Space Dolphins:
Lobo loves space dolphins. He has a place in deep space where he keeps a few as pets. He is so protective over space dolphins that he has been known to massacre whole cities/civilizations in revenge for accidental killings of ever just a couple of space dolphins. This is what landed him in an Oan Supermax prison.

This love for space dolphins carries over to the normal dolphins that live on Earth, although it is nowhere near as extreme. He loves them, and will go out of his way to protect those that he knows are in danger, but he isn't necessarily willing to go to such extremes as wanton murder and destruction in their honor.

Word Is His Bond:
Just as it says, Lobo's word is his bond. He keeps all his promises, no matter how inconvenient it may be for him. He is a man of honor.

Strangely enough, he is aware of this 'weakness', and as such, he will often times word his promises carefully so as to leave a loophole or two that he can exploit. In often cases, he will avoid from making promises just so he is not bogged down with keeping his word.
