La Raton follows a strict code of honor and conduct very strictly. This Code, which is modeled after the Code of Chivalry, compels La Raton to be honorable and gallant while on the job. This code, which Lyle invented to keep himself from turning into a common thief and crook, also provides his moral code, with the mantra "Rob those who rob others and steal that which has already been stolen" being a top priority, along with other virtues like "Do not kill unless absolutley necessary", and "Be polite to all, even your enemies".

As La Raton, Lyle is more confident and charming. Almost every word and action La Raton does is often accompanied by a confident, self-assured smile. In conserversation, ever word ooze with confidence, elegance, and charm, especially to "fair Dames". His debonair attitude also extends to his wardrobe, which is mostly consisted of hight quality replicas of 18th century French Arisrocrat clothing, and elegant looking Domino masks. La Raton's debonair attitude is even starting to effect Lyle, who is starting prefer wearing more "fashionable" clothing while out in public.

Both Lyle and La Raton are very generous individuals. Being forced to spend a good portion of his childhood in poverty, Lyle and La Raton have a great sympathy and empathy for those "less fortunate". As Lyle, he is a known philanthropist, spending a decent amout on his royalties on charity, even, including to rumors, releasing copies of his book for free in Bushwick, earning him the ire of some Anti-Mutant Groups.
As La Raton, Lyle follows the example of his childhood idol, Robin Hood. A lot of his heists are jump started when someones mistreats, or otherwise takes advantage of the poor. La Raton often tries to hand over most of his loot to his victim's victims, giving them a large portion of the laundered money from the heists and returning items stolen from them.

Lyle Marston is a very humble man. His fame came as a massive surprise for the normally, quiet, reserved man, and the sudden attention and demands for interviews from the "next-big name" in the writing industry make him incredibly uncomfortable. In conversation with his fans, he is very level-headed and down to Earth, often downplaying his fame, saying their are people much more deserving of fame than him. When talking to those who are not in the know about him, he often avoids bringing up his novel, not wanting to be recognized and mobbed.

Animal Training:
Lyle can train animals to help him in his jobs. The only animal he has so far is a Raccoon he calls Sir Percy. Training him was a trial-and-error type of affiar, but he ventually succedded in making Sir Percy a skilled sidekick. If he were to acquire another animal like a dog or parrot, he would be able to train them to also help in his jobs. But, more free-willed animals like Cats are almost impossible for him to train

La Raton is a surprisingly good brawler. While unable to outfight the likes of Lady Shiva or Batman, he is more that a match for most street thugs, able to take on up to 5 at a time.

Lyle was a blue-ribbon gymnastics champion while in Secondary School. While not in the same league as fellow thief Catwoman, Lyle is able to do flips, cartwheels, and is able leap across gaps as far as 10 feet.

Lyle is a very skilled marksman. He took up shooting when he first arrived in America, and found he was very good at it. After years of practice, he is know very skilled with the handgun, specifically Colt 1911s. While his marksmanship cannot rival those like Punisher and Deadpool, Lyle is able to outgun most thugs, and most cops, able to hit things as small as chandelier ropes, and is capable of feats like shooting guns out of people's hands.

Besides English, Lyle can speak perfect French, the result of growing up with a French Mother. As a result, he can fake a perfect French accent, which is quite necessary for La Raton, who is supposed to be French.

Lyle spent three years training to become a thief. He is skilled at lockpicking, safecracking, and how to avoid most security systems. But, is still unfamiliar with more "modern" systems and will have a harder time working around them

Lyle is a surprising amount of money in his bank account. This due to both his royalty checks from his publisher and his alter-ego, La Raton's heists. While he donates alot of this money to various charities, he still keeps a sizable amount for himself. Besides paying the rent and feeding Sir Percy, the money goes to buying equipment and other necessities for La Raton to continue his career.

Money Laundry:
It is a sad fact that Lyle is forced to interact with NYC's shady underbelly as La Raton. After all, the money he steals from his targets can be traced back to him unless properly cleaned. As a result, whenever he committs a daring heists where money is involved, he takes the money to Mr. Clean, a money launderer who operates out of a laundry mat in SoHO. The Mole:
Early in La Raton's career, he made a very important ally, Freddie Day, AKA, The Mole, after he saved him from Al "The Shark" Day, a ruthless loan sahrk. The Mole is La Raton's main information broker, giving him news on possible heists, and bringing new targets to his attention. He also serves as a type of hacker. While not as good as Mictorchip, The Mole is able to hack most servers, as long as they are not heavily encrypted, and hand over important data to Raton, whci he uses for heists.

There is no denying it, La Raton is still normal. Raton will have a very hard time fighting the likes of Spider-Man, and will lose almost instantly in a fight against someone like Superman. As a result, he will try his hardest to avoid Superheroes and Villains he couldn't possibly fight during heists.

La Raton is officially wanted by the NYPD, and possibly the FBI. While there is no doubt that Raton often robs criminals, the NYPD and other law enforcement still insist that Raton is just as dangerous as the criminals he robs, and are seeking to arrest him and end his "crime spree".
