* Apr 1982 Born in Chicago
* 2000-2004 College at West Point
* 2004-2009 Service in the Marines
* 2009 Left the service, joined SHIELD as a field agent
* 2010 Early mission: her field partner infiltrated HYDRA, became compromised triple-agent. Fury ordered her to kill him and the other triple-agent. She did so, but was wracked with guilt. Fury gave her a pill to remove her memories of the event.
* 2010-2018 Rises through the ranks of SHIELD
* 2018 Becomes Deputy Director of SHIELD and has served as Nick Fury's right hand ever since.

Driven:
When Maria sets her mind to something, it will happen, come hell or high water. She is tenacious and strong-willed.

Loyal:
Maria's loyalty to SHIELD and to Director Fury cannot be shaken, though she has been willing to engage in subterfuge otherwise for a time as directed by Fury himself.

Stern:
Maria keeps a military demeanor, expecting the chain of command to be followed unerringly. She is stern, but usually fair.

Infinity Serum:
Maria Hill was given the Infinity Serum by Director Fury when he wiped her memory of a mission in her early days as an agent. It gives her a minor amount of strength and stamina, but mostly it has just slowed her aging.

Beauracracy:
Maria may hate it, but hse is a master at turning rules and regulations towards SHIELD's advantage. She is also the usual face sent to talk to Congress because of this.

Driving:
Maria is capable of defensive and offensive combat driving.

Empathy:
Though she might not seem like it, she's been trained in reading tells and moods. Psychological profiling that gives her at least a decent idea if someone is BSing her or not.

Firearms:
Maria is proficient with ALL firearms, though her preferred weaponry are handguns and rifles.

Hacking:
Maria is decent at hacking, though not to the level of focused hackers. Still, she can work in a pinch as needed.

Hand-To-Hand Combat:
Maria is a beyond competent hand-to-hand combatant. She is not at the level of Iron Fist or Shang-chi, but she can hold her own in most hand to hand situations.

Intimidation:
Maria Hill may not be bulky or frightening in the conventional sense, but she is quite good at projecting an intimidating aura that brooks no bullshit.

Maria is a competent leader of both small groups and large organizations.

Cold-Blooded:
Maria is calculated and willing to make the hard choices. For the most part, those hard choices don't affect her anymore. She has built up a wall of ice around herself emotionally, and it's almost impossible to break through.

Director Fury:
Maria Hill regards Fury as a surrogate father figure (though most wouldn't know that). Her loyalty to him is absolute. She would do anything he commands, up to and including killing for him, dying for him, or even killing him herself.

Judgmental:
Maria is a perfectionist, and expects nothing less than that from others around her. Because of this, she has very few friends in or out of SHIELD.

Unyielding:
Maria is very much in the mindset of 'my way or the highway'. She will listen to others, but once her mind is made up, she will very rarely bend from her path.
