Mike doesn't need to open his eyes to know. He can just feel it. The bright sun rays making the trip from the window over just to dance upon his eyes.

Hey! It's morning!

There is a grumble as the musician rolls on his side, rejecting the Sun's greeting.

Wade Shaw, who is very much awake and set up at the desk, glances over to his suite mate, and then to the clock display in the corner of his screen. Yes, it is morning but afternoon will soon be here.

He should probably wake him.

Eyes look to the date display.

4 June 2024.

Another year, huh?

Maybe just this once...

Turning his head, he looks to the dress clothes tossed to the base of Mike's bed. Another glance sets up on the dress shoes. Grass clippings still up on them.

Well, at least he knows where Mike was for part of the day yesterday.

Quietly the condo owner gets up, moving over to collect the dress clothing, leaving the shoes alone for now. As the scent that has latched on to the shirt wafts up to his nose, the friend pauses, glancing back over to the loft bed with a frown.

And now he knows where he was for the rest of the day.

There's the urge to wake up the slumbering musician fully. To lecture him. But considering the date...

Tossing the clothes into a basket, Wade gives another shake of the head. Lifting the container up he heads out the door with it. He might not be able to do much with the pending hangover his roomie's going to have.

But at least he'll have clean clothes.
