Mother Box

A Mother Box is a virtual intelligence contained in a closed crystalline construct, an advanced version of a Zero-Point Energy construct. It is a combination of Celestial engineering and the innovation of Homo Immortalis during the epoch following the calamitous events of Ragnarok.

Mother Boxes tend to bond with a single user and will only respond to that user's commands. They have a limited intelligence that focuses heavily on reinforcing certain tasks assigned to it. They can contain a small extradimensional storage space that can be used to rapidly deploy weapons, armament, or provisions stored within. The energy type powering a Mother Box is Ionic Radiation. Mother Boxes are able to use other ambient energetic forces to charge themselves but the process is several orders of magnitude slower.

Default programming includes stabilized boomtube generation and the manufacture of flying vehicles called 'aero discs'. A Mother Box enables instant language cognition (much like the Allspeak of the New Gods) and limited telepathic communication. In a crisis the Mother Box can use emergency reserves of cosmic energy to give their possessor a short burst of energy to bolster them if they are flagging.

If damaged, a Mother Box can be repaired with the love and hope of her assigned user.
