Nathaniel Richards

Nathaniel Richards, father of noted hero Reed Richards, is a time traveler who crops up repeatedly throughout human history. He's been known by many names through many points in history; he tangled with En Sabah Nur as the pharoah 'Rama-Tut' during Egypt's 4th Dynasty; he presented himself as 'Kang the Conqueror', attempting to unite warring barbarian tribes in earth some 40,000 years in the future.

His own chronology is hopelessly tangled as his past and future selves reverberate through history, encountering past and possible versions of himself and even his descendants. With multiple temporal patterns converging in him at once it's possible that Nathaniel himself is never quite sure who is the 'authentic' Nathaniel Richards, and who is from a broken future or retconned past.
