Oceanus

Oceanus is a primal ideologue for the elemental aspect of Water. He was one of the Elder Gods who occupied the realms around Earth after the breaking of the First Firmament.

Oceanus affiliated himself with Uranus, one of the first of Gaea's children to form a demesne out of the fabric of the newly-sentient Demiurge. Oceanus avoided the politics and infighting of the Titans and Olympians, for thousands of years.

When Ragnarok shattered Yggdrasil, Oceanus was badly weakened. Poiseidon took the opportunity to seize the mantle of power from the ancient god, claiming not just Olympus' share of the oceans but also becoming the avatar for The Clear.
